pane e vino pizzeria

very disappointed. the service was very long but this could be acceptable (well, we had our drinks at least 25 min after ordering them. and not the ones we ordered because they were out). what is not acceptable is the food they served us. we ordered a veggie pizza without cheese and any kind of meat. we made sure to ask them to add more veggies. the pizza was "naked". it looked like a giant cracker with nothing on it. i told thewaitressthat some veggies were completely missing but she did not care at all, she never came back to apologize. i will not go back!

worst experience ever-management terrible.. we arrived and were seated promptly, but sat without service or a greeting for no less than seven or eight minutes. ourwaitressfinally arrived and immediately asked if we were ready to order without offering us beverages. she then brought us a half-correct drink order then we waited for another five minutes to get the remaining drink. we then ordered dinner and sat...and sat...and sat- for over 45 minutes before thewaitressinformed us that our food, "should've been out by now. " management walked past the table making eye contact several times over the next few minutes but never said a word. ten minutes later thewaitressstopped by to inform us that our food, "was given to the wrong table" at which point we asked for the check instead. they allowed us to pay for our single round of drinks. over an hour and a half total spent at the place and no dinner and no apology or comment from management.

plying you with alcohol. this afternoon a group of friends and i came in for lunch. when asking about beverages, thewaitressmentioned mint tea. that sounded good and i ordered it. being sickenly sweet, i was underwhelmed. my friend thought it looked good; lots of mint and ordered the same. she did not drink hers due to the sickenly sweetness. big surprise when our bill came - we were charged $8.50 each. we thought we had ordered mint tea - no, said the waitress, we ordered the mint tea cocktail. i said, "there was alcohol in this?" - couldn't taste it. long story short - i do not drink alcohol and was taken aback that i was served alcohol unbeknowst to me. my friend did not even drink hers - i diluted mine down with water - and thewaitresssaid she could not take the charge off our card because she had already "run it" and the manager was "not there". i told her we were not even aware that alcohol was served there and that she should have mentioned that we were ordering a cocktail and not "mint tea". no apology - no removing it from the bill - nothing - expect a very small tip to her. is that legal to serve alcohol to someone who did not order it? beware. also, i agree with many others - slow service.

great food/ terrible service. when we walked in, we asked if we could just sit down and awaitresstold us to go ahead and have a seat. after 15 minutes, we flagged down awaitresswho then went to get another waitress. the girl who finally came to our table proceeded to lecture us on how we can't just sit down without telling someone, we have to flag down a waiter to take care of us. ridiculous. food took forever to get there, and while we were waiting, 2 older ladies sat down at the table next to us. after they waited forever for service (because none of the wait staff pays attention to anyone), they too got a lecture about sitting down without letting the entire restaurant know. again, ridiculous. this place has good food, but horrible, horrible service. sad to see such a cute little place have such a crappy waitstaff.

bad service!. i have been to pane e vino twice now--the first time was awful. it took entirely too long to bring out a salad and a pizza. the second time was even worse! our water glasses were only filled if we were able to catch the attention of ourwaitressand ask for it. that's if we could get her to stop daydreaming, speaking to the other waitstaff, etc. it's sad that the service is so poor, because it could be a cool place in the park to stop in at.
