i think i've been spoiled. i cannot bring myself to order domino's ever again....as long as pizza this good can be delivered to my house it is worth the extra cost....but then again you pay for what you get. i've not had any problems with the delivery and it usually arrives before the time they give me. **** i highly recommend this restaurant!

i was so excited to try this restaurant since it's huntsville, but after ordering the antipasta platter, i couldn't be more displeased. it took forever to come out and it was a plate of oily lukewarm cheeses of low quality. i'd be willing to give them another try, but they need to learn "if you wouldn't eat it, don't serve it"

may 17, 2012 tags: huntsville by colleen so, i wound up on a three month work assignment in huntsville, alabama. when i first found out, i was about as excited as i was when i went to oklahoma . because matt is always up for an adventure (and he’s done with school for awhile), he came along with me this week. huntsville is home to a large us army base and a nasa research center, so it’s actually not the sleepy southern town i first assumed it was. it’s got its fair share of chain restaurants, but there are some gems as well. i posted to a serious eats message board to see if i could get any restaurant recommendations for matt’s week here. someone responded and recommended 1892 east , noting that they have a great vegetarian menu. i thought this would be a good break from all the barbeque i’ve been eating! we started with the chick pea “fries” . i expected them to have a gritty texture, but they were surprisingly light and creamy inside. they were served with regular ketchup and an anch

used to be one of my fav pizza places in huntsville. last night it was one of the worst food-wise. guess i hadn't been in a few months and didn't realize they'd changed from a crispy new york style crust to a doughy crust. the doughy crust pizza tasted on par with a grocery store frozen pizza. plus the toppings were kind of sparse.

very disappointed. the service was very long but this could be acceptable (well, we had our drinks at least 25 min after ordering them. and not the ones we ordered because they were out). what is not acceptable is the food they served us. we ordered a veggie pizza without cheese and any kind of meat. we made sure to ask them to add more veggies. the pizza was "naked". it looked like a giant cracker with nothing on it. i told the waitress that some veggies were completely missing but she did not care at all, she never came back to apologize. i will not go back!

we had a great two nights of dinners at pane e vino! the food was great - sat outside the first night, in the next. if you like salads and pasta and pizza and wine...and have kids to bring along and feed the ducks after dinner, try it out! the service was not perfect, but we were not in a rush, so it mattered not. i think they were busier than expected...

service was very slow and the atmosphere was somewhat chaotic. it was not a pleasant experience at all. the food was average at best. it was crowded but it was clear the staff could not handle even a small crowd.

favorite pizza in town! always wonderful! i love the crust, not too thick not too thin. create your own or try one of their fantastic creations. there is always something different to try.

had probably the worst restaurant experience i've ever had here. i was looking forward to eating here because i'd heard so many good things. the service was horrible. waited a really long time for our food, and then when it finally came out, they had forgotten to bring my husband's food. my husband finally had to leave after an hour to go back to work without eating anything. we asked for a highchair but they didn't have one available.. our server said that as soon as another table left they would bring the highchair to us. instead they gave it to someone else that came in. the food was not great. i could go on and on.. every single thing about the whole experience was awful.

ordered delivery via grubsouth. the mushroom ravioli was great and the tiramisu definitely was what i was craving. i'd recommend pane e vino.

nice late lunch experience. we had a diner with a dietary restriction, and were accommodated wonderfully. saw on the menu they offer gluten free crust, but went with traditional this time. el greco was lovely, and three cheese ravioli was a hit.

unaccepting. the wait staff is extremely unaccepting of anyone who is disabled. we have been there three times with a family member who uses a power chair. each and every time the wait staff has done passive aggressive things to not serve this person. for example, when we had a party of four - they brought three sets of silverware and three waters only - nothing for our family member in a wheelchair. other times the wait staff has not even asked for this persons order. it is disheartening and unbelievable this would happen in this day and age. not sure if it's a reflection on the management or just rude staff in general. it's too bad because this place could have potential, but they ruined it for us and we will not go back.

i ordered the “jackson pollock” – chicken, tomatoes, pesto, mozzarella, romano, and red onion. ($12)
oh. my. word. it was delicious in the restaurant and leftovers were just as good the next day for lunch.
my boys ordered the “salvador dali” – mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, meatball, bacon, and salami. ($13)
we have a new favorite pizza place!
