downhill fast!. used to be a great local pizza place. great pies, good wine and beer with free samples. but oh no after several attempts by bald men, theplacewas bought and turned into a full-on dump! outta wine, outta beer, can't gave you plates and silverware because the plumbing crapped out.! the worst service, seating turned into cafeteria crap.placeis dirty, greasy and pathetic! hello domino!

most restaurants aren't happy when you pull your groupon coupon out, so my husband and i waited until the end at checkout. the service was average- asked for napkins, fork, another beer and it was forgotten about (and we were sitting at the bar). about half way through our meal a younger disabled x-military guy sat next to us. 10 minutes of sitting there, he finally got greeted. he definitely got treated different than the other customers. overall first time experience, a 4/10. will i return? no. understaffed and the two servers working looked miserable. the girl made you feel like an inconvenience. it's too bad because brown's addition is a cool spot and thisplacehas a lot to complete with the elk and italia t around the corner. gooood luck and i hope your others customers don't have the experience we did!

great pizza, plus vegan cheese!!!. great pizza in a casual atmosphere. they also have vegan meat and cheese on their menu, so they can build you a vegan pie that is every bit as good as their regular ones! as far as i know, they are the only pizza joint in town that offers vegan cheese, so if you are out with a mixed group of people, this is a great option. i can't recommend thisplacehighly enough!

sometimes the hipster vibe can be a little much but their garlic bread and pepperoni bread are so cheap you'll forgive pretty much anything.  even though there is usually only one waitress the service is pretty good too.  at night it can turn into a bit of a dive bar and attract a rougher element but during the day it is great- i'd feel comfortable taking kids here (albeit guilty for plying them with pizza). overall a greatplacewhen you're on a budget with a fun environment.

great food generous pours affordable prices. pizzas and sandwiches are very tasty and the prices are unbelievably affordable.i find the salads fresh and crisp and artistic in presentation. the wait staff are helpful and always cheery. and no, i don't own theplacenot am i related to anyone here. the regulars are a happy lot, not drunks. the music is tasteful and doesn't blow your eardrums out.
check this funplaceout day or night, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

terrible service!!! waited over an hour and a half for one pizza. ordered pan got thin crust. never once did we see the server. had to go to them if we needed anything. wouldn't recommend thisplaceunless you have lots of time and want to serve yourself!

gluten free bliss. a friend and i went for the first time yesterday afternoon and found a charming little pizza joint with the best gluten free crust i've ever had (it's better than the one i make at home) -- not just some non tasting piece of cardboard called gluten free. it had flavor and texture. now for the toppings -- the tomato sauce was wonderful with lots of zip but best of all was the pepperoni -- not those little round slices that are more grease than meat. instead, there was this wonderful strong flavor of pepperoni; the meaty flavor was superb. overall, i don't know why thisplacehas received some poor reviews; we noticed great service, a clean restaurant, and fantastic food. we'll definitely be going again and again!

another good one.... so far thisplacehas the best thin crust bacon & onion pizza i've had in town (personal fave). we also tried one of their deep-dishes (the godfather) and it was very good, too. nice to see that they don't put an ogre's amount of toppings on their pies. to me a little less is more enjoyable. their large pies are 16", yet are priced slightly less than other spokane pizza joints whose larges are 18". i enjoyed everything about the pizza. decor was typical pizza joint, with a nod to comic book theme and 80's pop icons. nice selection of microbrews on tap. theplacewas clean, as was the bathroom, so i don't know what kind of grudge a previous reviewer has with the place. a special mention about the young fella who was serving everybody in there. he was all over the place, friendly, and very efficient. that's not always seen in pizza joints, yet not a must for me. i would definitely go back there. my teenage boys will make me, i'm sure. they loved it. and that meant no to-go box of unfinished pizza...

wash your windows!. theplaceis trashy & getting trashier. i am now starting to walk around the block rather than walk by this pigsty. real nice for a historic neighborhood.

pacific ave pizza, not. used to be an ok place. new owners, we thought, yay! wrong. it has taken less than a year for pacific ave pizza to become a full on dive. sad for the neighborhood.

fun new place!. i just went to this new pizzaplacein browns addition and i loved it! i walked in and felt like a kid again when i saw all the throwback lunchboxes, comic book menues and all the wacky decor on the wall. great food, service, and environment! the new owner really turned thisplacearound and that is great to see in this neighborhood. i will for sure be back; thanks guys!
