downhill fast!. used to be a great local pizza place. great pies, good wine and beer with free samples. but oh no after several attempts by bald men, the place was bought and turned into a full-on dump! outta wine, outta beer, can't gave you plates and silverware because the plumbing crapped out.! the worst service, seating turned into cafeteria crap. place is dirty, greasy and pathetic! hello domino!

went there with the family, service was terrible. we ordered a pizza, 2 sandwiches and a salad. waited over 90mins and still no food, but the people all around us who ordered drinks were served refills without a hesitation. we had to flag down someone just to get our sodas refilled. still no salad! then the people next to us who had ordered after us got their food. will not return and do not recommend it. horrible cutomer service, to wait over an hour and half for a salad!

horrible service, only cook one pizza at a time?!?! took 1.5 hours to get food, salad forgotten served after pizza. really to bad, pizza was good but you need a few hours if they are busy. wouldn't recommend

i would never recommend this place. i have never ever experience such horrible service. first of all, it took forever for them to take our order. we had to ask to order our food.then it took one hour just to get our pizzas and they delivered them about 10 min apart. it also seemed like a difficult task just for them to give us glasses, water, plates and forks. they also were serving people who came in after us their food before we received ours. they wouldn't even give us updates about when our food would arrive. not only was the food late, but the server was nasty to us. they do not have enough people working there to accomodate the busyness of the restaurant. they only had one waitress. don't waste your time going here. go to the elk instead.

most restaurants aren't happy when you pull your groupon coupon out, so my husband and i waited until the end at checkout. the service was average- asked for napkins, fork, another beer and it was forgotten about (and we were sitting at the bar). about half way through our meal a younger disabled x-military guy sat next to us. 10 minutes of sitting there, he finally got greeted. he definitely got treated different than the other customers. overall first time experience, a 4/10. will i return? no. understaffed and the two servers working looked miserable. the girl made you feel like an inconvenience. it's too bad because brown's addition is a cool spot and this place has a lot to complete with the elk and italia t around the corner. gooood luck and i hope your others customers don't have the experience we did!

great pizza, plus vegan cheese!!!. great pizza in a casual atmosphere. they also have vegan meat and cheese on their menu, so they can build you a vegan pie that is every bit as good as their regular ones! as far as i know, they are the only pizza joint in town that offers vegan cheese, so if you are out with a mixed group of people, this is a great option. i can't recommend this place highly enough!

sometimes the hipster vibe can be a little much but their garlic bread and pepperoni bread are so cheap you'll forgive pretty much anything.  even though there is usually only one waitress the service is pretty good too.  at night it can turn into a bit of a dive bar and attract a rougher element but during the day it is great- i'd feel comfortable taking kids here (albeit guilty for plying them with pizza). overall a great place when you're on a budget with a fun environment.

best pizza in town!. my husband and i had their pizza last friday and we both decided it was the best pizza we have ever had. we decided on the godfather and it was the bomb! will definitely be going back!!!

boy meats lunch. ordered the papa georgio all meat calzone (a bold move in this neighborhood) and it was terrific. gigantic, good crust and great sauce. i'd order extra sauce on the side next time to dip the extra dough in. tons of garlic powder kept everyone away from me the rest of the day - a bonus. service was friendly and top notch. unfortunately by the time we exited, there were a dozen browne's addition hippies protesting our lunch, holding signs reading "save the swine!" and "pigs are people too!" one of them threw gravy on me, yelling "ban bacon!" in my face.

no, that didn't happen. but i did enjoy my genoa genocide.

great food generous pours affordable prices. pizzas and sandwiches are very tasty and the prices are unbelievably affordable.i find the salads fresh and crisp and artistic in presentation. the wait staff are helpful and always cheery. and no, i don't own the place not am i related to anyone here. the regulars are a happy lot, not drunks. the music is tasteful and doesn't blow your eardrums out.
check this fun place out day or night, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

i love this place. my friend and i found it the summer before starting classes at sfcc, so summer 2013. amazing pizza and i love this one staff member, danica, she's so nice and remembers my friend and mine order, also that we like to eat our pizzas with a knife and fork. i've bought my mom a pizza home from them and on my next visit danica asked how she liked it. i am literally confused by the reviews. i've never had a problem with them and seriously danica is the best. besides, $2 for a slice of amazing pizza as big as the plate that they make at the restaurant... yeah, i think i'll continue to go. even gonna try to go for my birthday this year. :)

too loud music and rude obnoxious server. went in on 4/19/14 about 1130 in the morning. i was not able to talk to my wife(sitting next to me) because the music was so loud. asked waiter 3 times to turn it down. the loud music made my granddaughter start screaming because it was hurting her ears. we were going to order 2 large vegan pizzas when we were informed that they only had enough vegan cheese for one pizza-our party was 4 adults and one kid)-they had only been open for 1/2 hr and they were running out!. the server's body language made it very obvious that we were making him mad by asking him to turn down the music. by the time he informed us about the cheese, we were so agitated by the music that we left. we will never go to this restaraunt again

terrible service!!! waited over an hour and a half for one pizza. ordered pan got thin crust. never once did we see the server. had to go to them if we needed anything. wouldn't recommend this place unless you have lots of time and want to serve yourself!
