do not recommend. stopped at ourplaceapprox. 1:00 pm thursday, feb 26, 2015; they weren't that busy, ten mins went by finally a bus girl stopped to take my drink order; another ten mins went by before a waitress came to my table; i only ordered a bowl of veg soup and a patty melt, nothing special. a lot of people coming in being seated around me, they all received their food order. i'm still waiting, she says "not too much longer". she brings the soup, it's cold. out comes the patty melt, it's seriously burnt and the meat dry as a bone, i just looked at her and she walked away. i went up the cashier and told her this was the worst ever; she tried to give me a gift card, i said, no i'll never come back!!

i'm not big on scathing reviews or exaggeration, so i am not going to pretend like breakfast was terrible. it was, however, a massive disappointment compared to the mansfield location. the food is not the same, which baffles me since the two locations are only about 5 minutes apart. the serving sizes are significantly smaller than the other location as well. just really disappointed - ourplacein mansfield is hands down our favorite breakfast restaurant in the dfw metroplex. we won't ever be back to the burleson location.

if you have celiac thisplaceis not for you!. not gluten free friendly!! went to get a omelette to go and what a waste of money! $9.31 for a veggie omelette with cheese and hashbrowns. manager came out when i was checking out when i was discussing whether or not i could get tomato slices instead of the bread. no substitutions! he looked at me and said you can get any of the breads or pancakes. i said i understand that but i can't have any bread cause i have celiac. he said sure you can and started laughing like its a joke. umm no not funny i was not laughing. then he walks away, all about the customer right? not. then get out to my truck and see there is a very small cold portion of hashbrowns. i walked back in and a nice girl did approach me getting me more hashbrowns. got to car and all cold. omelette was good though! i won't be back and they need to educate themselves on the people that can't have bread cause trust me we all wish we could!

o/p is consistently outstanding!. what more could a hungry person ask for in a meal? home cooking style lunch specials every day. just had the chicken fried steak omelette for the first time. incredible! staff is excellent and makes everyone feel at home. go there twice and then try to stop. i dare you.

i have watched the building that houses ourplacefold time and again. now, day after day i see a full parking lot, and i eat there myself 4-5 times a week. otto (the owner) is a big reason for that. always takes time to check on tables personally. also, his staff is always friendly and strives to make your meal and dining experience enjoyable. i love the place.

nope. went there yesterday & had the worst service ever. i've both worked in & had friends in the service industry so i not only know how to be polite to a server but also how hard it can be. that being said, there was no reason for the almost completely absent character of our server, jaimie. my boyfriend & i were polite, we smiled, & said please & thank you upon her taking our order. she was very short with us in terms of attitude & had an almost sarcastic tone. after that, we pretty much did not exist. another server brought us our food, which i know is common in just about all restaurants, but jaimie never once checked in on us. the only time she came by was to ask if we wanted more tea & i think she only did that because she was passing out tea to the two neighboring tables. she was all over the two tables next to us but never asked how our food was or if we needed anything. she came over to tend to one of them &, in the process of talking to them, half turned & dropped our check on the table without a word. when we were seated there was still a tip on the table from the previous customers; one dollar. we both initially thought that was rude & felt bad for her but her service later proved that a dollar was generous. she did not get any tip from us. the portions also seem about half the size they were a year ago. i've really wanted to like thisplace& this last trip was the fourth & final visit. first visit was great, second visit the waitress brought my boyfriend's drink out by holding it with her finger inside of the rim of the cup. that same visit my meatloaf was ice cold & the mashed potatoes had the texture & flavor of clay. third visit proved that the fried okra is straight out of a bag. bought a banana cream pie that time as well & it only had about a quarter inch custard on the bottom & about five inches of whipped cream on top. we will not be back in the future nor we will recommend thisplaceto anyone.

we ate at ourplacewhile staying at jellystone. there was a lady making ballons for the kids and ours loved it. we also took pie to go which was delicious.

they have the best food around. taste like homemade should taste. people that critize it are just trying to get free food. so if you don't live in burleson and don't like the food go back to your part of town and it will mean more for the people who has good taste. the people are super nice as well

ourplacerestaurant-burleson. a friendly atmosphere and a greatplaceto meet friends. the food is always good, and the selection will please everyone. it is a goodplaceto visit with friends and talk. it is not overly loud so you can speak in a moderate fashion. the servers are friendly and efficient. the owner is always there to check if all is well. the coffee is fantastic and the cup never gets empty! see you there!

ourplacerestaurant is myplacefor breakfast or lunch. i eat 2 to 3 meals there each week. the staff are always courteous, friendly, and timely in taking your order. the atmosphere is open, the decor is a mix of texas/country. the food quality is very good, prepared home-style, like your grandmother would make. serving sizes are plentiful. i usually take half home for another excellent meal. the prices are reasonable. the owner makes sure to monitor the dining room floor and visit with his guest, ensuring a quality dining experience. unlike the nearby chain restaurants where you would go to be entertained, you come to ourplacefor the friendly service and a quality meal at a good price.

everytime i have been to our place. the food was hot sevice was good. no problems what so ever. owners walks around greets his customers chats with the for a short moment. if something is not wright with your order he makes it wright.. i've seen this happen. goodplaceto eat.

ourplaceis the best family restaurant around. the food is fresh and always delicious. the staff is friendly and fun. you can get breakfast anytime. there is absolutely no other breakfast that compares to our place.

awful-nothing worth the wait. after hearing so much hype, and seeing theplacepacked everyday, decided to get there early and give it a try. we were one of the few fortunate ones that did not have to wait, we were promptly seated, and after about 10 minutes someone asked if anyone took our drink order, no, she took our order, coffee. beware, coffee arrives in dark blue mugs, and is so weak one container of creamer made it white, not just lightened. ok, finding decent coffee in burleson is hard, so can by pass that, she did bring a glass of water, which adds a point in their favor. menu is the same as the porch in old town burleson, so ordered my stand by favorite southern scramble, biscuits, hash browns, scrambled eggs and sausage gravy, price is 1.00 higher than the porch. my breakfast companion ordered the ham and cheese omelet. people were seated behind us, and beside us, their food arrived, they ate (both tables) and left, still no food. finally the waitress stopped by and said that she would check on our order, 10 minutes later she brings out food. i have to say that it did look good, the gravy was perfectly seasoned, but that is the best i can say for my breakfast. the hash browns were basically mashed potatoes, the biscuits were raw and doughy, the scrambled eggs were way overcooked and hard, but the worst part was that the potatoes were full of bell peppers. i love bell peppers when i order them, i am not a fan of them with white cream gravy. my companion asked that i taste her omelet and tell her what i tasted, i took a fork full, and popped it in my mouth expecting to taste egg, cheese and ham, as i chewed i tasted nothing....i looked at her questioningly, and she said nothing right? i agreed and tried another bite, again nothing, no taste whatsoever. what do you have to do to make ham, eggs and cheese taste like nothing? well i could not get past the raw biscuits with mashed potatoes piled on them, so was ready to pay and get out of there, but my friend who is more outspoken than i asked for the manager, she explained that her breakfast tasted of nothing, and he said "well" then he looked at my uneaten plate and said yours too? i said no, i could not eat raw biscuits with mashed potatoes on them, with bell peppers. he proceeded to tell me that there are no bell peppers on there, and insisted even when i pulled one out to show him, he waved his hand in the air and said whatever, and walked off. the waitress brought our checks over and when my friend protested not even a credit for the coffee, she said that the manager said that he did not care if we came back or not. so here are another two that will not be back, i will continue going to the porch, better food and better staff, without the waiting. beware nothing here is worth the wait!!!
