french, understated and awesome.... as visitors to wilmington, we turned to us to find a good place for brunch and found this little gem tucked on the corner of a retail strip, very diner looking, certainly not the stereotypical french eatery. simple decor, no tablecloths, order at the counter (you can take the menu to your table first to ponder your decisions), and they deliver your food to you. we were immediately won over by the lovely people running the place, possibly a family endeavor, with polite smiles and endearing accents. our food arrived swiftly. as for the food... we ordered an assortment ofsavoryand sweet crepes and one of us, gluten intolerant, received the "gluten-free" version, consisting of the crepe stuffing ingredients sitting stop a fluffy layer of what looked like a flat omelet. the crepes were perfectly prepared and although at first glance appeared to be slightly smaller portioned than needed, once eaten, were more than filling enough. our favoritesavorycrepes were the quebec and the corsica (substituting spincach for green beans) and our favorite sweet was the versailles. the best thing, we decided, is that for the price, the quality and quantity of this food can't be beat.
