i kept hearing about nusr-et priortotravellingtoistanbul so i figured if all of lebanon seemedtoknow about it - i neededtotry it.

first thing that struck me with nusr-et was just how well designed the place is when comparedtothe theme they're going with so that earns points in and off itself. they were helpful in that they picked our luggage and stored it for us while we had our lunch before leaving turkey. their customer service was top-notch.

we shared a nusr-et burger and a lokum burger - both were really good - i personally leaned towards the nusr-et. i loved the seasoning they used witb the fries as well. if you're in istanbul it's well worth giving this place a visit for a parting meal before you headtothe airport.

i can't remember the exact name for this dessert i was served, but it was a form of baklava with ice cream stuffed inside it. luckily i was only served one piece because there was no way i'd have been abletocontrol my appetite.

this is my second time at nusr-et and i'm as satisfied as my first time. we arrived at the restaurant, it was overcrowded, we hadtowait an hourtoget a table. we got the menus quickly, the waiters are usedtobeing overwhelmed and ours helped us with our order. we ordered a ribeye appetizer, an avocado salad, the nusr-et burger and the 9hours cooked beef. you would think the order would take a bit more time duetothe number pf clients, but every item came quickly. salad was fresh and crunchy with a nice dressing, the appetizer was original, i didn't expect these small pieces of meat, nonetheless it was cooked nicely and was juicy. then came the meat: the first meal was like pulled beef, it was tender and metled in our mouths. the burger is a must, it's one of the best i've tried, juicy and cheesy. we ordered the famous dessert at the end and were offered tea, which was on the house. as an overall experience, nusr-et is a restaurant that shouldn't be missed whenever you gotoistanbul!

first time that i have ever seen a restaurant doing a waiting list for people that have booked a table. worst organisation ever.

be readytowait in a crowded place where waiters are pushing clients waitingtobe seated (for litterally hours)tomake their way. it's a total chaos.

the food ? not even worth being mentioned.

i wantedtomake it -5 because of the really bad service.
i booked a table for 2 in a certain time went there earlier cuz i know how it’s crowded, there where around 8 groups of people standing in the door waiting there tabletobe ready kept walking around the restauranttoask anyone for my table!! there where really rude and had no experience in booking after waiting around 30 mins i discovered that there are 4 bookings in front of us so why did the ask for time when i booked.
i’ve been into crowded restaurants but never like this, the waitress kept pushing people.
i now that nusret worked so hard for this restaurant but he needtoteach his employees and waiters and give them lessons on manners and stop fooling around with an ipad that has no reservation right.

guys, we’ve not beentonusret in dubai yet and don't think we ever will - simply because of how expensive it is. but nusret in istanbul is so affordable and the quality is spot on! an absolute must visit when in istanbul. hands down the best burger we've ever eaten in our lives!!! ever!!! we didn’t know burgers could taste this good - it was the moment we both looked at each other, our eyes locked and we knew this was special. .....the best dish we had at nusret in istanbul and for only 35 tl. definition of foodgasm.
the beef tenderloin - little slices of heaven. we also ordered the rack of lamb and jack finished all of this - yes, all!! with a little help from me (fine, i had one lamb chop!). and only 260 tl. the lamb was so tender and light that even after eating all that, jack wasn't too stuffed for dessert! and that burger ?❤️
the dessert was deliciously warm, crisp, buttery and flaky and the combination of the vanilla ice cream is brilliant!! we polished off a slice each!
and we had the perfect endtothe evening because we met saltbae himself!!! such a humble man who took the timetotake selfies with literally everyone in the restaurant.
i cannot recommend this place enough!

really enjoyed this place! it's not just a restaurant it's an experience!
first the service is really good although it's crowded, waiters are welcoming and helpful.
second, the food. it is actually uptoour expectations, meat is really tender moist and flavorful. the only remark i would give is the side dish. they propose baked potatoes, spinach with mushrooms and fries. it's a lot. i only managedtofinish the fries.
then came dessert. they have a whole show for it. it's baklava and ice cream. this one is amazingggg. we had two!!
as for the price, it is pricey but totally worth it.

we had a reservation for 5 people and were on time. but still we hadtowait for approx 30 minutestoget a table. the place was very busy. mostly upper-middle classtocelebrities. we sat nexttobasketball players from the local team. the world famous "salt-bae" nusret gökçe was also present so that customers could get a selfie with him. we ordered cheese salad (tulum peynirli salata) and garden salad (bahçe salatası), lokum meat, hamburgers and new york steak. taste was okay. you can exspect more from the price you pay. but desert baklava with ice cream (havuç dilimi) was out of this world and simply amazing. we paid 600 tl for 5 people.

don't bother and make a reservation because they make you wait anyways. no im sorry actually they make you fight for your table. so chaotic and unorganized, unhelpful eye rolling hostesses. we went on a thursday night had a reservation for 7:30 pm we called them politely and told them that we will be 10 minutes late. how foolish of us little did we know that it does not matter. we get there and its like the most crowded souk you can imagine you havetopush peopletogettothe hostess and then goodluck waiting. oh we did sit in the end after 1 hour and 10 minutes but that was after my husband blew at the hostess for making the walkins sit before us. 10 minutes after we sat at our table (which by the way was shared by others) and before even our food arrived the bar caught fire from one of their stunts and 3 people got burnt. 1 girl was burnt from headtotoe. people were screaming and running and there was no exit but that by the bar. so yeah after that scare we lost our appetite. but then the famous salt bae came and was surrounded by cameras and phones while keeping his grim on as if nothing happened and as if people weren't affected for life. thank god we were unharmed. i was once a nusret fan. not anymore. never again.

after hearing a lot about this place and finally decidingtovisit, we had the worst experience ever and left without even having dinner. we called and reserved a place, but when we arrived we found a big line all waitingtobe seated. no one was answering us even though we had a reservation and they made us wait at the door, until we decidedtoleave. it was the most unprofessional and disrespectful place i've ever been to! they have no respect whatsoever for their customers, which was very humiliating.

(english translation is below) mekana girip yerimize oturana kadar ilgi alaka şahaneydi ama siparişi verdikten sonra kimse ilgilenmedi, yaklaşık 4 farklı garsona siparişi hatırlatmak zorunda kaldık. i̇çecek olarak ne alırsınız sorusuna almayacağımı belirttiğimde "nasıl yani hiçbir şey mi içmeyeceksiniz" diye soran bir garson bizim masamızdan sorumluydu. fotoğrafta görmüş olduğunuz havuç dilimi baklavayı ben sipariş ettim ancak karşımda oturan uzak doğulu arkadaş saniyede 2 fotoğraf çeken bir makineyle her şeyi fotoğrafladığı için sunumu ona yaptılar, ardından baklavayı önüme atıp gittiler. yan masada bir beyefendinin şarabı bittiğinde doldurmak için bir garson herdaim hazır beklerken, ben hesap lütfen diye her gördüğüm garsona seslendim ama sizin masayla x kişisi ilgileniyor denilerek yaklaşık 20 dakika hesap bekledim. +400 lira adisyon bırakıp bahşiş vermeyecekseniz nusret'e gidip de ne kendinizi rezil edin ne de yanınızdakine rezil olun. nusret nereden geldiğini çabuk unutmuş olmalı ki bu kadar şımarık çalışanı bünyesine toplayıp onlara ekmek kapısı olmuş. lezzete değinecek olursak, iki adet lokum burger ve iki adet havuç dilim baklava aldık. lokum burgerlerden birisi güzelken öbüründe sadece karemelize soğan tadı baskındı, bu fiyata bu burger asla yakışmadı. tek memnun kaldığım şey havuç dilimi baklavaydı.

they were very friendly until we found a place and sit down. after we ordered lokum burger and baklava, they startedtobehave in a rude way. we waited our ordertobe served for 30 min and they made ustowait another 20 min for cheque. in addition, i was the one who ordered baklava but they served it in front of an asian customer because he was taking photographs... if you don't spend +100$ and give tiptowaiters, you cannot expect good quality and friendly behavior. at this place, you get only what you pay for, money talks.
