hell of an experience.

a must visit for any meat/steak lover.

we arrived with no prior reservation, waited for about 20 enjoyable minutes ( the amount of lovely trays offoodpassing infront of us was considered as an entertainment with all these aromas blending in ? ) then we were seated on a big shared table. the rest is history. ❤❤

time passed so fast, just like all the lovely times with a twist of goodfoodin this novel. ❤
definitely i am visiting this place again.

an enjoyable and amazing experience at nusr et. you must know what to choose if you are not a meat expert, i wish there was pictures to make things even easier. we did our reservations and it was easy to get our table. the staff were not so friendly and not so helpful when it comes to the menu items. thefoodwas good, lokum steak tastes good but not so special. if you don't like raw meat, make sure to tell them to make well done. flower onion is a good starter to share at the beginning. baklava is super delicious and the guy present it with a small show.
recommend this place even thought it's pricey $$$$

we had already reserved before 2 days.
we arrived on time for our reservation, but we could not find our table ready. not did we only wait for our table to be ready, but also we had to wait in queue for over 2 hours, as if we hadn’t reserved!
we were 3 persons and, while waiting in the queue, over 10 groups of 2 to 4 persons passed before us. the staff did not do anything and some of them were also disrespectful. note down also that the music was too loud for a place where it is already too packed.
i can’t understand how a restaurant of such high class could be that disrespectful and not understanding towards its clients. i don’t care aboutfoodas long as the service is awkward, the service and staff of a restaurant should reflect its values and quality!

this place was amazing years ago. after they turned it into more business and less customer service it is just a brand which offers nothing but a disappointment. thefoodis below average, there is almost no presentation to thefood- the menu needs upgrading asap. the interior and terrace area gives a feeling of sitting in a cheap neighborhood restaurant . it hasn’t been renovated since ages. not to mention you have to wait for your table an average of 1-1.5 hours. because of all the hype they are putting no effort in customer satisfaction. waste of time and money. last time i went, my friends and i, got pushed and shoved we waited like idiots for more than an hour standing up a long with another 40 people who were also waiting for their tables. we gave up and we left. not going back there nor to any other nusret around the world.

you keep hearing about this place and noticing posts everywhere with the #saltbae and nusr et’s signature style in adding salt to the dishes.
however, nothing can ever prepare you to what would become one of the best experiences in your life.
we ordered the nusr-et burger, the goat cheese salad, the dallas beef, the lamb rack, the ribs, the baked potato with spinach on the side and finally the baklava with ice cream. everything tasted super good! thefoodwas just to die for! and the burger is just so simple yet so perfect that you end up leaving yet yearning for one more bite.
the staff was super friendly and the overall atmosphere really great with an outstanding choice of music.
thefoodwas definitely worth the wait.
to top this amazing experience, nusr et himself was there! i mean can it get any better??!!
one must never pass by any of the countries where it has opened without giving it a try!

during this trip to istanbul, we specifically scheduled nusr-et steakhouse in our plan just because we were curious to experience the sensation that his owner salt bae (nusret gökçe) has created in the world cuisine. thefoodis yummy and you can see customers imitating salt bae's move in sprinkling salt over their meat. even the baklava with ice cream is a must at nusr-et. enjoy your meals :)

worse customer service i have ever witnessed.
we made a reservation for 2 at 9:30 pm.
it's 10:30 pm and we're still not seated with almost 50 other people waiting at the entrance of the restaurant facing the same frustration.
either the restaurant has an ignorance on operations management or this is done on purpose, either ways it is an absolute insult for every person coming to this restaurant. regardless of whether thefoodtastes good or not, having a meal at a restaurant is a 360 social experience and if this is the start of it then the experience is a failure before it even begins.
shameful, not worth the visit especially if you're on a vacation.

i can never say enough or have enough of this branch. thefoodis always exquisite and the service is impeccable.
i can proudly say that i tried everything on the menu from beef cuts and steaks. the salads are very fresh, the meat is really out of this world and the baklava dessert is just perfect.
my favorite dishes are the sushi and the lokum, but i’m sure you will enjoy whatever you order. the only not perfect thing is the fries.
can’t wait to be back as it is the only branch with such excellent consistency.

no words can describe this place, the taste or the staff or the professional way infoodpresentations.
the prices are way less than dubai (70% less)
the taste is exactly the same in any branch.

the most camera friendly restaurant with all the easy going but with cool actions chefs and waiters make our visit full with laugh and cheers, thefoodtaste great thank god as i am not very fun with the turkish cuisines and the prices are reasonable compare with the portion as well, the only issue is the waiting line though we had the reservation...

every time i travel to istanbul i visit nusr et steakhouse. the place is always crowded. if you want to visit i recommend to book before you go otherwise you will have to wait for couple hours before you will be able to have a meal. the taste of thefoodis amazing especially the nusr et special burger. it is juicy and the sauce is yummy

i traveled with my brother and told us that this restaurant is a must, we wait 1 hour to sit, the place was extraordinary thefoodsooo tasty and made near you, very delightful taste, really it is a must for gourmet steak

this place was on my bucket list a long time ago and finally i got the opportunity to taste it. i didnt get the chance to photograph everything cause thefoodwas epic! the meat is delicious!!and the presentation is amazing.but the service was bad ; we ordered 3 burgers and they only got us 2 fries , we asked the staff several times for it but they simply ignored .the baklawa and the tea are super good! its also a must order.

the moment i book a ticket to turkey , a must visit was to nusr et etiler steakhouse. we went for the first time without any reservation at 8, they told us that we needed to wait up to 2 hours so we left. i reserved for the next day at 2. as we arrived our table was ready and they were quick to serve us.

place: very nice outlet in one of the most prestigious streets of etiler, istanbul. outdoor seating is very nice.

service: fast, good service yet they were a bit mean and neutral.

food :

starters :

 dana carppacio which is thin raw meat slices with parmesan cheese, rocket leaves and olive oil. if you don`t mind eating raw meat then definitely order it. if not, then skip it as a starter. (2/5)

salads :

tulum peynir salatasi : goat cheese salad with greens, pomegranate , olive oil and walnuts. i didn`t like a lot the combination of the goast cheese with the sauce they did. it was okay. if you`re not a fan of goat cheese again do not order it. it has a bitter taste. (3/5)

beef filets:

lokum: slices of thin steak filets which so tender and juicy and taste great with salt. comes with a plate of fries which are seasoned with origano but they were somehow soggy rather than crunchy and crispy. (4/5)

if you want a buttery taste , make sure to order the nusr et special where it is served with hot butter sauce straight from the pan.

burgers:

nusr et burger: a big fat meat  burger patty with cheese , smoked beef  and caramelized onions. the beef patty is tender and a bit juicy yet lacks a little of seasoning. it was good. comes also with fries. the burger is huge so you can share with someone if you are ordering other plates. (4/5)

garnish: 

mantar:  mushroom  marinated with black pepper, garlic and onion. i didn`t find it as a necessity garnish. not a major fan of mushrooms too. (2/5)

sogan cicegi: flower onion that is deep fried and comes with a tartar sauce. i am not a fan of onion rings so i regreted ordering it because it was just oily and tasteless. (1/5)

desserts: baklava with ashta icecream which is the signature dessert in turkey. is if very good yet too sweet so you could have 2 pieces maximum.

drink: turkish tea on the house

overall experience:  the waiter was somehow mean. when it came to the carpacio we told him that it was our fault that we didn`t know that it would be raw meat and that we didn`t want to eat it. he was very rude by just saying okay i will throw it away and will not take it out of the check. and we didn`t even mention anything about the bill.

i think social media is being over rated with all thesefoodplaces. i do admit nusr et sells one of the most tender and juiciest meats and it tastes good. but nothing really special or wow. thefoodtastes good but you should know what to order depending on your references. i would find meat places in beirut that sell also this kind of meat.

prices: not very expensive yet not cheap . it is cheaper than other outlets in other countries. we ended up spending 100$ on those plates.

make sure to book online before you go. peak time is between 6-11 pm
again this is my own taste and reference. but i`m being honest because i had high expectations of this place.
