büyük beklentilerle gittik fakat hayal kırıklığına uğradık. gün ortası olmasına rağmen yoğun değildi. evet karşılama ekibinin uzunca selamlamaları,buyur etmeleri güzeldi. i̇lk deneyimimiz olcağı için nusretburgersipariş ettik. sunum 0 dı, eti kaliteli de olsaburgerprezentansyonunu ve lezzetini beğenmedim. ağırdı. patates kızartmasından kıl çıktı bunu tolore etmek için yenisini getirdiler, olması gerekendi teşekkürler. hayal kırıklığı yüzüne vuran bi arkaşımıza garsonun ağır mı geldi esprisi abes ve yersizdi. restorantın önünde kazı çalışması mevcuttu misafirler için bir geçiş desteği bile bulundurmamaları eksiklikti. bir daha değil kapısının önünden geçmek adını bile anmam.

you keep hearing about this place and noticing posts everywhere with the #saltbae and nusr et’s signature style in adding salt to the dishes.
however, nothing can ever prepare you to what would become one of the best experiences in your life.
we ordered the nusr-et burger, the goat cheese salad, the dallas beef, the lamb rack, the ribs, the baked potato with spinach on the side and finally the baklava with ice cream. everything tasted super good! the food was just to die for! and theburgeris just so simple yet so perfect that you end up leaving yet yearning for one more bite.
the staff was super friendly and the overall atmosphere really great with an outstanding choice of music.
the food was definitely worth the wait.
to top this amazing experience, nusr et himself was there! i mean can it get any better??!!
one must never pass by any of the countries where it has opened without giving it a try!

wow.. nusret. where do i start? first things first; we had high expectations. those expectations were right. 
we had dinner at nusret steakhouse on a thursday and there was a very long row at the steakhouse. even though we had reservations, we had to wait until there was room inside. it was so crowded inside and outside of the steakhouse. 
we had the kaves , the nusretburgerand the baklava as dessert. all were great. however i wished i ordered the kaves medium instead of medium rare. it was a bit too rare for me...but it was my own choice. 
the service could have been better, because they did forget a few times our requests. but in all fairness , it was really crowded. i would also forget with that many people and all of their requests.

we went there yesterday afternoon with my wife and 2 relatives. i will rate each thing seperatley so as to make it clear to all.
1.) there is a guy, thin medium height who handles the rezervations, he is rather rude and sometimes speaks with a very rude manner. but the rest of the table staff are better and listen to you.
2.) the place did not smell good, there was a moist smell inside which is not what you want when you eat at ant place, let alone this one.
3.) the toilets are not that clean and very cramped for such a large place. definitely need an upgrade.
4.) the food, we ordered 3 burgers, the burgers were not nicely done, the fries were very cold and even when we told them, they just brought back some more cold fries. also, at their istinye park location for 10 lira on top of theburgeryou get sweets and coke added in. but at this place that did not apply. for burgers you are much better off going to their istinye park location.

the moment i book a ticket to turkey , a must visit was to nusr et etiler steakhouse. we went for the first time without any reservation at 8, they told us that we needed to wait up to 2 hours so we left. i reserved for the next day at 2. as we arrived our table was ready and they were quick to serve us.

place: very nice outlet in one of the most prestigious streets of etiler, istanbul. outdoor seating is very nice.

service: fast, good service yet they were a bit mean and neutral.

food :

starters :

 dana carppacio which is thin raw meat slices with parmesan cheese, rocket leaves and olive oil. if you don`t mind eating raw meat then definitely order it. if not, then skip it as a starter. (2/5)

salads :

tulum peynir salatasi : goat cheese salad with greens, pomegranate , olive oil and walnuts. i didn`t like a lot the combination of the goast cheese with the sauce they did. it was okay. if you`re not a fan of goat cheese again do not order it. it has a bitter taste. (3/5)

beef filets:

lokum: slices of thin steak filets which so tender and juicy and taste great with salt. comes with a plate of fries which are seasoned with origano but they were somehow soggy rather than crunchy and crispy. (4/5)

if you want a buttery taste , make sure to order the nusr et special where it is served with hot butter sauce straight from the pan.

burgers:

nusr et burger: a big fat meat burgerpatty with cheese , smoked beef  and caramelized onions. the beef patty is tender and a bit juicy yet lacks a little of seasoning. it was good. comes also with fries. theburgeris huge so you can share with someone if you are ordering other plates. (4/5)

garnish: 

mantar:  mushroom  marinated with black pepper, garlic and onion. i didn`t find it as a necessity garnish. not a major fan of mushrooms too. (2/5)

sogan cicegi: flower onion that is deep fried and comes with a tartar sauce. i am not a fan of onion rings so i regreted ordering it because it was just oily and tasteless. (1/5)

desserts: baklava with ashta icecream which is the signature dessert in turkey. is if very good yet too sweet so you could have 2 pieces maximum.

drink: turkish tea on the house

overall experience:  the waiter was somehow mean. when it came to the carpacio we told him that it was our fault that we didn`t know that it would be raw meat and that we didn`t want to eat it. he was very rude by just saying okay i will throw it away and will not take it out of the check. and we didn`t even mention anything about the bill.

i think social media is being over rated with all these food places. i do admit nusr et sells one of the most tender and juiciest meats and it tastes good. but nothing really special or wow. the food tastes good but you should know what to order depending on your references. i would find meat places in beirut that sell also this kind of meat.

prices: not very expensive yet not cheap . it is cheaper than other outlets in other countries. we ended up spending 100$ on those plates.

make sure to book online before you go. peak time is between 6-11 pm
again this is my own taste and reference. but i`m being honest because i had high expectations of this place.

sürekli nusret nusret, nedir kimdir merak duygusunu yenmek adına gittim, “bu kadar abartılacak ne var?” demeyin, gidin. i̇ç dizayn, ilgi, servis, konsept 4 4lük değil 4 5lik. mükemmel ötesi bir şey. nusretburgeryedim, tavsiye ederim. fiyatlar pahalı diyene inanmayın gayet uygun 2 kişi 90 tl ödedik. mutlaka tadına bakılası bir yer. ayrıca şans eseri karşılaşıp selfie çekinme fırsatı buldum. mütevazi , güzel bir kişiliğe sahip. havalı değil insan canlısı. ???

nusr-et e ilk defa gittik pazar günü rezarvasyonsuzduk 45 dakika bekledik . gerçekten yoğundu. dana füme ile başladık harikaydı ta ki nusretburgera kadar o nasıl ağır etti ve yağlıydı bu kadar beklemiyordum .. sınıfta kaldı

daha önce gittiğimiz benzer bir mekana göre aynı fiyatla daha kaliteli yemek ve hizmet sunuyorlar. salata veburgeroldukça lezzetliydi yalnız bu tat için bu kadar sıra beklemeye ve kalabalıkta yemeğe değer mi bilemiyorum.

etiler'in en nezih mekanlarindan olan nusr-et steak konusunda uzmanlasmis resmen. 500 gr dallas steak yedik arkadaslarla ve gercekten etin tadi nefisti. ortam ve servis cok güzel.

i̇kinci kez gittigimde cok lezzetli bir lokum yedim. ardindan inanilmaz güzel birburgeryedim. sonunda en iyi baklavacilardaki tadi aratmayan bir havuc dilimi yedim. mekan ve ortam sahane. mutlaka denenmeli.

lezzet olarak gayet başarılı, biz lokumburgerve nusretburgeryedik. lokumburgerzaten bildiğiniz lokum tek fark hamburger ekmeğinin içerisinde olması. ben nusret burgeri daha çok beğendim içerisinde füme et vardı. en çok tulum peynirli salatayı beğendim gerçekten sadece o salata için bile gitmeye değer.

one cannot visit istanbul without passing by the famous nusr-et steakhouse.
many reviewers criticized the waiting queues, so we decided to visit it for a late sunday lunch at 4:30 pm. we didn't book in advance and were seated within 10 minutes.
we ordered nusr-etburger(lovely thick juicyburgerwith caramelized onions) and new york steak (extremely juicy steak with baked potato and spinach pure).
the portions are generous, the staff is helpful and the taste is well, amazing to say the least!
prices: steaks for ~180 tl, burgers for 55 tl, soft drinks for 12 tl, fresh juices 15 tl.
if you're a meat lover, do not miss nusr-et!
