nusr-et steakhouse

an enjoyable and amazing experience at nusr et. you must know what to choose if you are not a meat expert, i wish there was pictures to make things even easier. we did our reservations and it was easy to get our table. the staff were not so friendly and not so helpful when it comes to the menu items. the food was good, lokumsteaktastes good but not so special. if you don't like raw meat, make sure to tell them to make well done. flower onion is a good starter to share at the beginning. baklava is super delicious and the guy present it with a small show.
recommend this place even thought it's pricey $$$$

kesinlikle ete doyabileceğiniz bir mekan ancak bu lezzetli etleri ulaşmak için öncelikle sabırlı olmanız gerekiyor. şöyle:
eşimle 1 hafta önceden cuma akşamı saat 20:00'ye rezervasyon yaptırdık. daha rezervasyon için telefonda konuşurken bile sizi "bekleyebilirsiniz" diye uyarıyorlar. rezervasyon günümüz geldiğinde saat 19:30'da nusr-et'teydik. gider gitmez rezervasyonlarla ilgilenen görevlilere geldiğimizi belirttik ancak sadece geldiğimizi bildirmek için bile çılgınca bir kalabalığı yararak ilerlemek durumunda kaldık. sıra beklemeye geldi. gitmeyi düşünen herkese öncelikle ilk tavsiyem mutlaka en rahat ayakkabılarını giymeleri zira biz masamıza mekana girdikten 1 saat 50 dk sonra yani 21:20'de kavuşabildik. tüm bu zamanı neredeyse ayakta geçirdik. ancak haklarını vermem lazım ki beklerken çok da sıkılmanıza izin vermiyorlar. çeşitli ikramları oluyor zaman zaman ortamı hareketlendirmek için barmen ufak tefek şovlar yapıyor çalışanlar sizinle sohbet ediyor vs. özellikle nusret bizzat gelip bu kalabalık bekleme grubunun arasına girip isteyenlerle tek tek fotoğraf çektiriyor ki bence bu çok hoş. hatta eşim de fotoğraf çektirdi.
uzun uğraşlar sonunda masamıza ulaştığımızda ise beklemekle ne doğru birşey yaptığımızı anladık. öncelikle tulum peynirli salata ile dana carpaccio söyledik. carpaccio'nun sunumu da lezzeti de çok iyiydi, salata da aynı şekilde. ardından az pişmiş tom housesteakyedik. pişirme derecesi lezzeti gayet yerindeydi. üstüne bir hamburgeri paylaştık. yine çok çok iyiydi özellikle bebek'teki nusr-et burger'ı deneyenler ne demek istediğimi gayet iyi anlayacaktır. üstüne de kapanış olarak artık klasik haline gelen dondurmalı havuç dilim baklava ile kapanışı yaptık. beğenmediğimiz hiçbir şey olmadı ancak bazı artı noktaları var ki özellikle belirtmek isterim: örneğin devamlı masalara sıcak patates kızartması ikramı/servisi var. patatesinizin soğumasına izin verilmeden sıcağı ile yenileniyor. havuç dilim baklavanız gözünüzün önünde hazırlanıp servis ediliyor. ayrıca tüm bu kalabalığa rağmen garsonlar başta olmak üzere tüm çalışanlar oldukça sıcakkanlı, yardımsever ve ellerinden geleni yapıyorlar.
uzun bekleme süreleri en büyük ve tek negatif yönleri bunun dışında herşeyden memnun kalarak ayrıldık. fiyat konusuna gelince kişi başı içkiyle ortalama 200-250 tl arası bir hesap geliyor.

had one of the beststeakexperience so far. selected a 21 days aged t-bone medium rare and was delivered as desired. the restaurant was busy in afternoon even on weekdays and it gets more busy for dinner servings. despite of the busyness the waiter did an amazing job... finally the salt bae was amazing!

if you love meat, you'll love this place. thesteaksushi,steakspaghetti and lokumsteakare some of the best dishes they serve. the dessert is amazing as well, you'll see a guy walking around with a tray of baklava amd ice cream. they also do a great non-alcoholic mojito.

if there is more than 5 i would give them !! beststeakin the world! super delicious, outstanding staff, ambiance,music! everything was just perfect . very affordable prices. we were 4 persons , the bill was around 200us$ !

i’ve tried eating in different places. i can say that nusre-et steakhouse is the best steakhouse in the world by far.
the atmosphere, the smell, the presentation of food, and the taste are what every stake lover is looking for.
i ordered ribeye as starter and dallassteakand it was really great. unfortunately when we arrived they were out of most of the menu items which could the only negative point.
the seasoning of meat is incredible, just order anything with a lot of fat and to be medium done and enjoy..
highly recommend.

the moment i book a ticket to turkey , a must visit was to nusr et etiler steakhouse. we went for the first time without any reservation at 8, they told us that we needed to wait up to 2 hours so we left. i reserved for the next day at 2. as we arrived our table was ready and they were quick to serve us.

place: very nice outlet in one of the most prestigious streets of etiler, istanbul. outdoor seating is very nice.

service: fast, good service yet they were a bit mean and neutral.

food :

starters :

 dana carppacio which is thin raw meat slices with parmesan cheese, rocket leaves and olive oil. if you don`t mind eating raw meat then definitely order it. if not, then skip it as a starter. (2/5)

salads :

tulum peynir salatasi : goat cheese salad with greens, pomegranate , olive oil and walnuts. i didn`t like a lot the combination of the goast cheese with the sauce they did. it was okay. if you`re not a fan of goat cheese again do not order it. it has a bitter taste. (3/5)

beef filets:

lokum: slices of thinsteakfilets which so tender and juicy and taste great with salt. comes with a plate of fries which are seasoned with origano but they were somehow soggy rather than crunchy and crispy. (4/5)

if you want a buttery taste , make sure to order the nusr et special where it is served with hot butter sauce straight from the pan.

burgers:

nusr et burger: a big fat meat  burger patty with cheese , smoked beef  and caramelized onions. the beef patty is tender and a bit juicy yet lacks a little of seasoning. it was good. comes also with fries. the burger is huge so you can share with someone if you are ordering other plates. (4/5)

garnish: 

mantar:  mushroom  marinated with black pepper, garlic and onion. i didn`t find it as a necessity garnish. not a major fan of mushrooms too. (2/5)

sogan cicegi: flower onion that is deep fried and comes with a tartar sauce. i am not a fan of onion rings so i regreted ordering it because it was just oily and tasteless. (1/5)

desserts: baklava with ashta icecream which is the signature dessert in turkey. is if very good yet too sweet so you could have 2 pieces maximum.

drink: turkish tea on the house

overall experience:  the waiter was somehow mean. when it came to the carpacio we told him that it was our fault that we didn`t know that it would be raw meat and that we didn`t want to eat it. he was very rude by just saying okay i will throw it away and will not take it out of the check. and we didn`t even mention anything about the bill.

i think social media is being over rated with all these food places. i do admit nusr et sells one of the most tender and juiciest meats and it tastes good. but nothing really special or wow. the food tastes good but you should know what to order depending on your references. i would find meat places in beirut that sell also this kind of meat.

prices: not very expensive yet not cheap . it is cheaper than other outlets in other countries. we ended up spending 100$ on those plates.

make sure to book online before you go. peak time is between 6-11 pm
again this is my own taste and reference. but i`m being honest because i had high expectations of this place.

herkesin dilinde bir nusret bizimde uzun zamandır planlarımız arasındaydı. mekana girince öyle şatafat yok çalışanlar genelde nusret tarzı bıyıklı,her masa için ayrı garson görevlendiriliyor hesabınızı ödeyinceye kadar o kişi sizinle ilgileniyor.steakhouse müdavimi olmadığımız için menü istedik fiyatlar abartıldığı kadar değil. biz lokum ve biftek yedik yanına salata aldık. lokumda biftekte mükemmel ötesiydi tek sorun eşimin az pişmiş biftek sevmemesiydi tabi bu durum benim işime geldi ne varsa götürdüm :) kendinizi şımartmak istiyorsanız arada bir gidebilirsiniz,tabi bütçenizden şaşmamak koşuluyla? son olarak eğer iyi bir et severseniz garsonun sizi yönlendirmesine izin vermeyin siz ne yemek istiyorsanız onu isteyin.

its a must visit when in istanbul !! the waiters are sooo professional and friendly.!

this is thesteakreal deal. if your feet ever got you near the place, you must visit it. don't think twice about your order, just choose from the menu and u will like it. i went there during my 5 days stay in istanbul 3 times. it was worth every penny

must pass by every time i am in istanbul. the beststeakand ribs. cool service. clean. friendly staff. at least they speak english. make sure to try also the burger. don't miss the dessert.

beststeakhouse in the world , i was shocked of how much the meat was tasty , i ate a meal for two on my own. i also heard that they are opening in dubai, abu dhabi and london.
guys if you are in istanbul it is a must for you to try it.

meşhur nusr-et dediler geldik, ben new yorksteakyedim. çok yumuşaktı ve yağı gayet iyiydi. yani benden tam puan. annemler kafes ve lokum yediler. i̇kiside çok başarılıydı. tek sıkıntı ekmek yok onun yerine süreki patates kızartması geliyor. ekmek yok mu dediğimizde biz ekmeği hayatımızdan çıkardık dediler, onun yerine patates kızartması ne kadar doğru tartışılır. tatlı olarak ise baklava arasına dondurması zaten 1 numara.
