nusr-et steakhouse

went there for dinner with the family.
it is a great place with delicious food.
we had to wait for about 40 min to have a table. it was very crowded!
themeatis really well made?? the service is very friendly and quick. the waiters were very funny.
overall this is a must try place in istanbul!

let me tell you something, your visit to istanbul is definitely incomplete if you don’t pass by nusr-et steakhouse!

the place is supercrowded so you need to make a reservation. the staff are very professional and work really hard to make sure everyone gets seated and the customers waiting to feel at ease with some drinks.

the decoration is very modern and the seating is comfortable, tables are large so they fit the big portions served by the place.

we ordered dana kaburga (beef ribs), fillet mignon bonfíle (fillet mignon steak), and nusret special.

themeattasted heavenly! it was mouthwatering, and the wholemeatexperience was amazing! it might be the bestmeatwe ever tasted. i highly recommend all the meals we ordered, with a special highlight on the beef ribs which was our favorite! themeatis juicy, very rich in taste ??

last but not least, for dessert we took the baklava with ice cream which was super delicious!

almost all the meatmeals are served with a show which takes you to a whole another experience!

the overall experience was one of a kind, the prices are expensive, yet they really match the high expectations you put on this place and its food!

would definitely visit again and again!

an enjoyable and amazing experience at nusr et. you must know what to choose if you are not ameatexpert, i wish there was pictures to make things even easier. we did our reservations and it was easy to get our table. the staff were not so friendly and not so helpful when it comes to the menu items. the food was good, lokum steak tastes good but not so special. if you don't like raw meat, make sure to tell them to make well done. flower onion is a good starter to share at the beginning. baklava is super delicious and the guy present it with a small show.
recommend this place even thought it's pricey $$$$

for a place most known for meat, it is surprising to find themeatthis average, and overcooked. nusret special was not so special. beef carpaccio was a delight. the waiters can pull off a show, and they really take care of you until you order enough to mark up the targeted bill, and then when you don't like your plate (because it's overcooked) & you send it away and order the bill to leave they don't even ask you why you didn't finish the plate. it's a place on a lot of people's bucket list because of the mass promotion, but it's not luxurious and it's not a restaurant you would return to or recommend tomeataficionados. i guess they rely on one-timers. (this fuss won't last) #masstige

i get it. i get the social media appeal. to me that’s as far as it goes with nusr-et for me.meatis good but overpriced. i don’t need to come to turkey to go to an overpriced steakhouse. if that’s your game then i don’t blame you for going, but be ready to open the wallet!

i can never say enough or have enough of this branch. the food is always exquisite and the service is impeccable.
i can proudly say that i tried everything on the menu from beef cuts and steaks. the salads are very fresh, themeatis really out of this world and the baklava dessert is just perfect.
my favorite dishes are the sushi and the lokum, but i’m sure you will enjoy whatever you order. the only not perfect thing is the fries.
can’t wait to be back as it is the only branch with such excellent consistency.

i’ve tried eating in different places. i can say that nusre-et steakhouse is the best steakhouse in the world by far.
the atmosphere, the smell, the presentation of food, and the taste are what every stake lover is looking for.
i ordered ribeye as starter and dallas steak and it was really great. unfortunately when we arrived they were out of most of the menu items which could the only negative point.
the seasoning ofmeatis incredible, just order anything with a lot of fat and to be medium done and enjoy..

this place was on my bucket list a long time ago and finally i got the opportunity to taste it. i didnt get the chance to photograph everything cause the food was epic! themeatis delicious!!and the presentation is amazing.but the service was bad ; we ordered 3 burgers and they only got us 2 fries , we asked the staff several times for it but they simply ignored .the baklawa and the tea are super good! its also a must order.

the moment i book a ticket to turkey , a must visit was to nusr et etiler steakhouse. we went for the first time without any reservation at 8, they told us that we needed to wait up to 2 hours so we left. i reserved for the next day at 2. as we arrived our table was ready and they were quick to serve us.

place: very nice outlet in one of the most prestigious streets of etiler, istanbul. outdoor seating is very nice.

service: fast, good service yet they were a bit mean and neutral.

food :

starters :

 dana carppacio which is thin rawmeatslices with parmesan cheese, rocket leaves and olive oil. if you don`t mind eating rawmeatthen definitely order it. if not, then skip it as a starter. (2/5)

salads :

tulum peynir salatasi : goat cheese salad with greens, pomegranate , olive oil and walnuts. i didn`t like a lot the combination of the goast cheese with the sauce they did. it was okay. if you`re not a fan of goat cheese again do not order it. it has a bitter taste. (3/5)

beef filets:

lokum: slices of thin steak filets which so tender and juicy and taste great with salt. comes with a plate of fries which are seasoned with origano but they were somehow soggy rather than crunchy and crispy. (4/5)

if you want a buttery taste , make sure to order the nusr et special where it is served with hot butter sauce straight from the pan.

burgers:

nusr et burger: a big fat meat  burger patty with cheese , smoked beef  and caramelized onions. the beef patty is tender and a bit juicy yet lacks a little of seasoning. it was good. comes also with fries. the burger is huge so you can share with someone if you are ordering other plates. (4/5)

garnish: 

mantar:  mushroom  marinated with black pepper, garlic and onion. i didn`t find it as a necessity garnish. not a major fan of mushrooms too. (2/5)

sogan cicegi: flower onion that is deep fried and comes with a tartar sauce. i am not a fan of onion rings so i regreted ordering it because it was just oily and tasteless. (1/5)

desserts: baklava with ashta icecream which is the signature dessert in turkey. is if very good yet too sweet so you could have 2 pieces maximum.

drink: turkish tea on the house

overall experience:  the waiter was somehow mean. when it came to the carpacio we told him that it was our fault that we didn`t know that it would be rawmeatand that we didn`t want to eat it. he was very rude by just saying okay i will throw it away and will not take it out of the check. and we didn`t even mention anything about the bill.

i think social media is being over rated with all these food places. i do admit nusr et sells one of the most tender and juiciest meats and it tastes good. but nothing really special or wow. the food tastes good but you should know what to order depending on your references. i would findmeatplaces in beirut that sell also this kind of meat.

prices: not very expensive yet not cheap . it is cheaper than other outlets in other countries. we ended up spending 100$ on those plates.

make sure to book online before you go. peak time is between 6-11 pm
again this is my own taste and reference. but i`m being honest because i had high expectations of this place.

best steak house in the world , i was shocked of how much themeatwas tasty , i ate a meal for two on my own. i also heard that they are opening in dubai, abu dhabi and london.
guys if you are in istanbul it is a must for you to try it.

traveled to turkey specifically to taste nusr-et!
we booked a day before for 8:00 pm, got a table by around 9:15! reservations are not actually respected, it wasnt clear who came first as the host was overwhelmed by the number of people jammed in the waiting area (would say around 60-70).

good thing is the food was worth the wait! we ordered almost everything on the menu just to have a taste of everything. themeatmelts in your mouth, the salad is fresh, the baklava ice cream is amazing!

the atmosphere (once you sit down) is nice, the waiters are friendly and they hand fed us (which they do sometimes as a sort of entertainment).

anything on their menu is recommended! worth every penny!

been there without a prior reservation .... and it was a mistake , stayed in queue for 1h 40min .
and expect a bit of rudeness by the spg, maybe coz of client’s pressure.
food was perfect
all dishes are recommended if you are looking for real menmeatcrave .
staff ( waiters ) were kind despite wrong orders landed on our table 3 times
wine list requested from the waiter but..... never received so we had no wine.
service timing was acceptable
