nusr-et steakhouse

one of the beststeakhouses' i've been to in my life.

starters, ribs (beef and lamb), salads and desserts are out of this world.

do not miss on it if you ever visit istanbul.

point by point review of our unfortunate dinner experience at nusret from entering to leaving:

1- reservations were not acknowledged and we had to wait like all the walk-ins. the place was obviously and carelessly overbooked by at least ten tables, on purpose maybe even to increase the hype. host did not bother giving us a waiting time and responded with “don’t know can be 5 min can be 2 hours”. this is a recurrent issue based on reviews
2- as soon as we headed towards our table i couldn’t help but smell a bad, moist, stench. did not help with the appetite. place has no circulation and is in deep need of renovation
3- waiter came to say hi 30 minutes after sitting. he bullied us into ordering overpriced wine/champagne and a “set” of salad and meats. all of which we said no thank you because we had wanted other things, to which he made obvious he was annoyed about. advice: don’t be pushed into ordering what they want
4- tomahawksteakmade it to us rare even though we ordered it medium. waiter was no where to be found for 15 min so we ended up eating it as it is. actually had to leave half of it because we’re not used to rare. waiter forgot to cut it initially as well because it was so busy
5- the so called nusr-et special finally made its way one hour after ordering.
6- three hours after entering this dump we paid the overpriced bill and left.

if you want steak, go to a steakhouse. this is not a steakhouse. it’s a zoo and nusr-et should be ashamed of himself for maintaining this circus

if you are a meat lover, this is the place to be. it is more a passion. the best steakhouse i've tasted so far. tried the one in istanbul before going to the one in dubai, but surely i will become a regular dubai branch customer.

the tenderness, the taste, the presentation, the portion, the preparation, the atmosphere, the service... everything about this place is just perfect.

you need to start with a salad and keep along the way as a side dish to break off the huge quantities of meat you are gonna eat.

when it comes to the meat starters, you can never go wrong. follow your preference but do not skip their sushi (must try). basically it is small pieces ofsteakfilled with cheese and crispy chips, just throw into your mouth and let it melt. lokum is another amazing meat starter that you need to get. sasli is very tasty but if you need to chose, then lokum is a winner.

as for the main dishes to share; again reinforce that it is based on thesteakcut you prefer. if you are into ribs, then you will get the best most tender 8 hours slow-cooked ribs here. if you fancy lamb chops, again you came to the right place; they present and cut in front of you.

note: leave space to their special baklava with ice-cream desert. mouth watering finish of your meal. you will definitely need a cup of tea before you manage to move off your chair.

it is an experience that you should not miss and trust me worth the wait in the queue to get a table or sharing table.

öncelikle yediklerimizin newyorksteakve burger olduğunu belirterek başlayayım. yediğim et orta pişmiş olmasını istememe rağmen kuru ve sertti. evinizde 1 gün dinlendirerek yapacağınız antrikot daha başarılı olur. burgerlerin her ikisi tuzlu olmasalar çok başarılı.. mekanın en büyük sorunu iç mekandaki gürültü ve bu insanı yemek yerken yoruyor. fiyat öyle anlatıldığı gibi abartı değil.

lokum yumusak ve lezzetli, dallassteakidare eder, sert biraz, lokum kadar yumusak degil. kuzu pirzola cok leziz. yalniz etilerde böyle bir mekanda yemek yemege geldigimde icecegimin kutu pepsi olarak bardagima bile doldurulmadan masama birakip gitmesini calisanin , biraz yadirgadim... kutu kola veriyorsun bari bardaga doldur.

aslında herkesin dilinde olduğundan çok bişi söyleyemeye gerek yok. dallassteakçok efsane bi tat değildi. i̇yi etçilerde yiyebileceğiniz türden. ama nusret burgeri gerçekten efsane güzeldi. sadece burger yemeye bile defalarca gidilebilir. yanında getirmiş olduğu patates kızartması vasattı. havuç dilim baklavada iyi diyebileceğimiz türden. mekan tabiki kalabalık sıra bekleme derdin var. o yoğunluğa alışmış olmaları lazım ama çay için çok beklettiler. altı üstü bir çay ama 10 15 dk bekledik. pahalı bir mekan olduğundan hiç olmazsa bir burger yemeğe gidilebilir :)

the perfect steakhouse. you can choose between any type ofsteakthe fatty and non fatty ones. their service is incredible and the prices are very cheap comparing to lebanon. i will definitely pass by if i visit istanbul again.

the burger over there is so unique and yummy!
onion rings as well!
it’s one of the very popular places in istanbul “a must try”
every time we visit this amazing city, we should have a stop for either dinner or lunch

yillardir istisnasiz gittigim en iyi en basarilisteakhouse. guleryuzlu ve misafirperver tavirlari harika. etlerin lezzetini istanbul da baska hic bir yerde alamiyorum. tulum peynirli cevizli salatasi ve dana sasligini kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. etraf piril piril. lavobalari tertemiz. tek sıkıntısi vale ucretinin biraz pahali olusu, masalarda tanimadigimiz insanlarla oturmamiz ve gidince beklenilen sira. onun disinda masaya gelen baharatli patates kizartmasindan tutun cikana kadae yenilen icilen hersey harika. kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

definitely the beststeakyou can ever taste ! the service is not only fast, but also enjoyable. the waiters treat the food that they serve like nusret does !
we had to wait for 1 hour and a half to get a table for 4;it was definitely worth it !

nusr et is a specialsteakhouse, i enjoyed the nusr et special, service is great, food is great, they are professionals especially in the way they serve the plates.

thesteakhouse place to visit when in istambul. despite the queue, you will enjoy the ambiance with a nice wine until being seated. ordered a rib eye and a filet. equally tasty. not to miss the baklava desset with its ice cream as a finish!

evet eti lezzetli işin show kısmı lezzetinin önünde . beğenmekle beğenmemek arasında kararsızım. onun haricinden temiz bulmadığım bir mekan hijyenik değil ancaksteaksevenlerin en azından bir kere gidip yemesi gereken bir yer .

the best steakhouse in istanbul, nusr-et is the most innovative when it comes to how they serve their food to meat lovers. fromsteakto lamb chops and beef cooked with boiling butter. the service is excellent and the meat quality is wonderful ??
