by far the best thing you can ever eat at istanbul. on the expensive side, yet totally worth it. the meat is premium and cuts like butter!!
everything is a show. from the way they serve to the way they cut the meats and the way they present the food.
i personally tried the tomahawk steak and it was melt-in-your-mouth tender.
exceptional.
no matter how full you felt, do not leave without eating dessert.

staff can be very rude at times, yet they are generally professional.
a lady at the entrance made me laugh with her reply to a person that demanded being seated immediately claiming to be a friendofnusret. “sir, everyone is a friendofnusret. please wait your turn”.

always book at least a day in advance to avoid a long wait at the door.

regarding that this restaurant is for salt bae, the customer service is very very very extremely bad. i reserved 2 weeks in advance to avoid the queue, which wasnt well organized and very crowdy. we ended up waiting 2 hours to get our table with no priority for our reservation (not talking about the rudenessofthe hostess)

coming from dubai, i was expecting this to be an expensive joint but from what i saw on the menu, it was not one at all. i only had the chance to taste the now infamous baklawa desert and that experience was a special one. this i a very instagram friendly outlet with folks mainly turning up to take pictures with the namesake curator or the processofserving their food on the table. it is a must visit if you're a fanofmeat & fancy presentations.

recommended plates: asado and kuzu kafes andofcourse the baklava at the end. kofte wad burnt and the burger was below expectations. great service and fast despite that we had to wait although we had a reservation.

it has delicious meat but never let the waiters order insteadofyou! because they always order over your capacity to gain more money. btw it is always crowded

hady.taha my partner made a reservation there as a surprise having heard amazing reviews. we were both pleasantly surprised that those reviews were too true. the place has by far the best meat we ever had. we shared their signature burger and the beef spaghetti, a side salad and fries. the meat was incredibly tender and juicy and the fries were divine. the place offers complemtary dessert, and you can choose from among two options, bothofwhich are amazing.
the service was fast considering how packed the place was, the decor was beautiful, and the ambiance was great. i particularly liked how you are greeted with a lovely displayofhanging meats as you walk in. definitely a favorite!

our turkish friend had booked a table for us. we reached there half an hour earlier. they said that no reservation was done. we waited for two hours. welcome staff is very rude. people were standing on topofeach other. anyway, we were seated first on a table with other people from other countries (who we surely didn't know). first meal was served. it was yummy. worth the wait. then we were moved to another table where we were alone (finally!). second meal was served. ribs + a serving show. just wow. they let u forget all the waiting time and all the impolitnessofthe welcome ladies that u had to endure. show is super. taste is outofthis world! really speechless. highly recommended! do not miss it out!

their lokum is amazing!!!! oneofthe best juiciest steaks i've ever had! had it in medium which was fabulous! their baklava with ice cream was also to die for! also loved their sale with feta cheese ? service was fantastic!

service: went there for my birthday and was super excited the whole saltbae experience. the place was understandably over crowded and after much waiting we had to sit and share a table with strangers which wasofcourse awkward. there were no condiments or tissue papers on our sideofthe table and we had to speak over the couple sitting next to us the entire time. service was below average, but my oh my, the burgers were heavenly! which bring me to:

food: the juiciest thick meat and the perfect seasoning and buns. the starofthe show is definitely the meat that you can find nowhere else! we devoured the ny burger and the nusret special burger and i'll forever remember this as oneofthe best burgers i've ever tried.

service again: gotta say, some tables were having the timeoftheir life with a cooking show & all (plus the luxuryofhaving their own table) so you never know you might get good service if you're lucky (what?). pity i was outofluck on that part on my birthday though.

value for money: the place is also super affordable with respect to the quality!

i had dinner at nusrat, the place could have easily gotten a 5 if they have a proper reservation system. i had a reservation at 9:30, and was asked to be there a bit earlier. i arrived at 9:15 to find a crowdofpeople jumping over each other trying to reach the hostess when i got to her gabe her the reservation information, she asked me to wait next to the bar which i did. i expected to be seated at 9:30, but that wasn’t the case. i had to wait till 9:47 to be told my table was being prepared. i was taken to wait in another area for another 15min to be seated making my waiting time close to 35 min given that i had a reservation. don’t over book the place it’s disrespectful to people who are coming to pay a lotofmoney for food. the customers should be treated in a more dignified manner. based on that the place should get a 1. the food is a different story, and it is the only reason the place got a 4. but it is still no excuse to treat people like this. the staff serving the food was very polite. the gold steak was satisfying. the gold beqlawa was also good. the food was great, service needs to be changed asap.
