nusr-et steakhouse

every time i travel to istanbul i visit nusr et steakhouse. the place is always crowded. if you want to visit i recommend to book before you go otherwise you will have to wait for couple hours before you will be able to have a meal. the tasteofthe food is amazing especially the nusr et special burger. it is juicy and the sauce is yummy

i’ve tried eating in different places. i can say that nusre-et steakhouse is the best steakhouse in the world by far.
the atmosphere, the smell, the presentationoffood, and the taste are what every stake lover is looking for.
i ordered ribeye as starter and dallas steak and it was really great. unfortunately when we arrived they were outofmostofthe menu items which could the only negative point.
the seasoningofmeat is incredible, just order anything with a lotoffat and to be medium done and enjoy..
highly recommend.

we went there yesterday afternoon with my wife and 2 relatives. i will rate each thing seperatley so as to make it clear to all.
1.) there is a guy, thin medium height who handles the rezervations, he is rather rude and sometimes speaks with a very rude manner. but the restofthe table staff are better and listen to you.
2.) the place did not smell good, there was a moist smell inside which is not what you want when you eat at ant place, let alone this one.
3.) the toilets are not that clean and very cramped for such a large place. definitely need an upgrade.
4.) the food, we ordered 3 burgers, the burgers were not nicely done, the fries were very cold and even when we told them, they just brought back some more cold fries. also, at their istinye park location for 10 lira on topofthe burger you get sweets and coke added in. but at this place that did not apply. for burgers you are much better off going to their istinye park location.

the moment i book a ticket to turkey , a must visit was to nusr et etiler steakhouse. we went for the first time without any reservation at 8, they told us that we needed to wait up to 2 hours so we left. i reserved for the next day at 2. as we arrived our table was ready and they were quick to serve us.

place: very nice outlet in oneofthe most prestigious streetsofetiler, istanbul. outdoor seating is very nice.

service: fast, good service yet they were a bit mean and neutral.

food :

starters :

 dana carppacio which is thin raw meat slices with parmesan cheese, rocket leaves and olive oil. if you don`t mind eating raw meat then definitely order it. if not, then skip it as a starter. (2/5)

salads :

tulum peynir salatasi : goat cheese salad with greens, pomegranate , olive oil and walnuts. i didn`t like a lot the combinationofthe goast cheese with the sauce they did. it was okay. if you`re not a fanofgoat cheese again do not order it. it has a bitter taste. (3/5)

beef filets:

lokum: slicesofthin steak filets which so tender and juicy and taste great with salt. comes with a plateoffries which are seasoned with origano but they were somehow soggy rather than crunchy and crispy. (4/5)

if you want a buttery taste , make sure to order the nusr et special where it is served with hot butter sauce straight from the pan.

burgers:

nusr et burger: a big fat meat  burger patty with cheese , smoked beef  and caramelized onions. the beef patty is tender and a bit juicy yet lacks a littleofseasoning. it was good. comes also with fries. the burger is huge so you can share with someone if you are ordering other plates. (4/5)

garnish: 

mantar:  mushroom  marinated with black pepper, garlic and onion. i didn`t find it as a necessity garnish. not a major fanofmushrooms too. (2/5)

sogan cicegi: flower onion that is deep fried and comes with a tartar sauce. i am not a fanofonion rings so i regreted ordering it because it was just oily and tasteless. (1/5)

desserts: baklava with ashta icecream which is the signature dessert in turkey. is if very good yet too sweet so you could have 2 pieces maximum.

drink: turkish tea on the house

overall experience:  the waiter was somehow mean. when it came to the carpacio we told him that it was our fault that we didn`t know that it would be raw meat and that we didn`t want to eat it. he was very rude by just saying okay i will throw it away and will not take it outofthe check. and we didn`t even mention anything about the bill.

i think social media is being over rated with all these food places. i do admit nusr et sells oneofthe most tender and juiciest meats and it tastes good. but nothing really special or wow. the food tastes good but you should know what to order depending on your references. i would find meat places in beirut that sell also this kindofmeat.

prices: not very expensive yet not cheap . it is cheaper than other outlets in other countries. we ended up spending 100$ on those plates.

make sure to book online before you go. peak time is between 6-11 pm
again this is my own taste and reference. but i`m being honest because i had high expectationsofthis place.

best steak house in the world , i was shockedofhow much the meat was tasty , i ate a meal for two on my own. i also heard that they are opening in dubai, abu dhabi and london.
guys if you are in istanbul it is a must for you to try it.

okey! i rest my case.
nusr-et had me first at this magnificent saladofgoat cheese with the dried blueberry and grapes! it's just amazing.
now that i have tried their food in both branches, i really recommend this branch! the service is quite perfect; helpful, friendly and funny!
they serve you with a funny act/show to keep you entertained that's what makes a good service though!
the food was overwhelming, yet we have ordered more than enough!! we couldn't eat halfofit ?
don't ask me! i would have enjoyed my bowlofsalad without allofthese dishes. but men will always be men!!

traveled to turkey specifically to taste nusr-et!
we booked a day before for 8:00 pm, got a table by around 9:15! reservations are not actually respected, it wasnt clear who came first as the host was overwhelmed by the numberofpeople jammed in the waiting area (would say around 60-70).

good thing is the food was worth the wait! we ordered almost everything on the menu just to have a tasteofeverything. the meat melts in your mouth, the salad is fresh, the baklava ice cream is amazing!

the atmosphere (once you sit down) is nice, the waiters are friendly and they hand fed us (which they do sometimes as a sortofentertainment).

anything on their menu is recommended! worth every penny!

been there without a prior reservation .... and it was a mistake , stayed in queue for 1h 40min .
and expect a bitofrudeness by the spg, maybe cozofclient’s pressure.
food was perfect
all dishes are recommended if you are looking for real men meat crave .
staff ( waiters ) were kind despite wrong orders landed on our table 3 times
wine list requested from the waiter but..... never received so we had no wine.
service timing was acceptable
elegant atmosphere and relaxing interior design ambiance
prices were affordable comparing to other branches in other countries.

so i love their steaks. but i didn't get to have them. hence a 1.

there are two typesofsuckers who have hyped up this place. first, people from dubai who pay ridiculous premium to eat at nusr-et at four seasons and come to turkey thinking, "wow let's have the same steaks for 30%ofthe price!". second suckers are locals who have seen salt bae's videos throwing salt on his elbow in leonardo di caprio's company. the irony is that noneofthese people come for the food!

i booked a table for 8pm. was in time. was told i have to wait 15 minutes. then after 20 minutes was told the wait is another 20. then at 8:45 i was told my reservation was for 8:30 and i was early and that my wait is another 20 minutes. it felt like a kebab place outside a nightclub.

they also told me that they don't take "table reservations". what the schmuck was the reservation for? toilets?

they should change the way they work. because they really are about to become a great steaks brand. they haven't yet.

the food is absolutely insane, just delicious!
my rating went from 5.0 to 4.0 because the hosting system is awful! we had reserved 1 hour before arriving, and when we got there we still waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes!!!! had i known this aheadoftime i would’ve changed our dinner plans because this was a business dinner with a partner... the hostess kept showing me my name on her ipad and saying we’ll be seated in 10 mins, about 7 times...

nusret steakhouse etiler branch is super crowded. they do not take small group reservations. you arrive to see people and waiters shouting to reserve a table... the management should find a solution for this issue as the scene at the entrance does not resemble the styleofthe restaurant. food is honestly great.

let me tell you something, your visit to istanbul is definitely incomplete if you don’t pass by nusr-et steakhouse!

the place is supercrowded so you need to make a reservation. the staff are very professional and work really hard to make sure everyone gets seated and the customers waiting to feel at ease with some drinks.

the decoration is very modern and the seating is comfortable, tables are large so they fit the big portions served by the place.

we ordered dana kaburga (beef ribs), fillet mignon bonfíle (fillet mignon steak), and nusret special.

the meat tasted heavenly! it was mouthwatering, and the whole meat experience was amazing! it might be the best meat we ever tasted. i highly recommend all the meals we ordered, with a special highlight on the beef ribs which was our favorite! the meat is juicy, very rich in taste ??

last but not least, for dessert we took the baklava with ice cream which was super delicious!

almost all the meat meals are served with a show which takes you to a whole another experience!

the overall experience was oneofa kind, the prices are expensive, yet they really match the high expectations you put on this place and its food!

would definitely visit again and again!
