nusr-et steakhouse

gerçekten belirli bir standardın oldukça üstünde olan, muazzam işletmeye sahip enteresan bir yer nusr-et. lokum, şaşlık venusretburger ve tatlı olarak havuç dilimi gerçekten çok başarılı. ama birini ayırmak gerekirse lokumun çok çok iyi olduğunu ve özellikle tam istediğimiz gibi şahane bir medium-rare ile geldiğini söylemem gerekiyor. mutlaka bir kez gidip görmeniz gereken bir deneyim nusr-et.

i have been wanting to try this place for a while now. i am glad i finally made it to istanbul and got the chance to live “ the nusr-et experience”.
make sure to book 2 to 3 weeks ahead, and prepare yourself for a long wait, but trust me it will definitely be worth it.

the wooden interior gives the place a warm vibe but what makes you feel all comfy and cozy is the staff and service. each and every single table is perfectly taken care of. waiters are friendly, attentive and always around. they even perform a special show while serving the food.

now for the main act. meat.
we went for the new york steak. the tender strip is heavenly cooked. the waiter slices it up on a wooden platter and its pink juiciness just stands out but the signature “salt bae” touch is what does the magic trick. baked potatoes and spinach purée are served on the side.
we then had the specialnusretdish. this is a must try. the special zone beef fillet comes almost raw. the waiter bathes it in boiling melted butter over a hot stone, the beef gets cooked to perfection with bread bites on the side dipped in the sauce before being served.
we also had the nusr-et burgers. to die for! you cant top that quality meat, rich taste, and amazing ingredients.
fries are refilled on the house.
and for the final act: dessert.
the cherry on top, as if this place needed one! a huge baklava tray comes right at you. the waiter opens up each slice, stuffs it with ice cream and then chops it up. you can feel the mouthwatering flavor with each and every single crunchy bite, bathing in sugar syrup.
traditional turkish tea is served at the end to cool down.

this is, by far, one of my best dining experiences!

biz yeni açılan nusr-et sandal bedesteni şubesine gittik. yeri güzel fakat bir etiler değil tabiki. daha güzel olabilirdi. etleri hakkında yorum yapmaya gerek bile olduğunu düşünmüyorumnusretişte???

be ready to wait for a long period of time!
i've been tonusretaround 8-9 times (basically whenever i visit istanbul).
the food is great. superb goat cheese salad, lokum, lokum burger, and meat sushi. however, the fries accompanying can sometimes be cold.

it usually crowded with lots of locals and tourists. even with reservation, you will have to wait for quite some time. it might be a better idea to go during the day. eventually, it will be worth the wait.
it has a casual ambiance.
must try.

point by point review of our unfortunate dinner experience atnusretfrom entering to leaving:

1- reservations were not acknowledged and we had to wait like all the walk-ins. the place was obviously and carelessly overbooked by at least ten tables, on purpose maybe even to increase the hype. host did not bother giving us a waiting time and responded with “don’t know can be 5 min can be 2 hours”. this is a recurrent issue based on reviews
2- as soon as we headed towards our table i couldn’t help but smell a bad, moist, stench. did not help with the appetite. place has no circulation and is in deep need of renovation
3- waiter came to say hi 30 minutes after sitting. he bullied us into ordering overpriced wine/champagne and a “set” of salad and meats. all of which we said no thank you because we had wanted other things, to which he made obvious he was annoyed about. advice: don’t be pushed into ordering what they want
4- tomahawk steak made it to us rare even though we ordered it medium. waiter was no where to be found for 15 min so we ended up eating it as it is. actually had to leave half of it because we’re not used to rare. waiter forgot to cut it initially as well because it was so busy
5- the so called nusr-et special finally made its way one hour after ordering.
6- three hours after entering this dump we paid the overpriced bill and left.

if you want steak, go to a steakhouse. this is not a steakhouse. it’s a zoo and nusr-et should be ashamed of himself for maintaining this circus

kafes lokumunu kesinlikle deneyin derim.zaten artık bir marka haline geldinusret.etlerin lezzetini söyleme ye gerek yok hızlı servisi ve konseptiyle ideal bir yer ama biraz fiyatlar pahali taksit secenegi sunulabilir :))

i am not sure how to rank mynusretexpirence in istanbul....
even with the booking we had to wait more than an hour for the table to be ready , finally found a place at the bar and enjoyed a drink before dinner.
our waitress was exceptional, and the food was excellent.
it was a different experience from dubai, i am glad i waited lol

çok sıra bekliyosunuz ,nusretdirekt devreye girip dikkatinizi ona çeviriyo zaman geçirmenizi sağlıyo . yemek yemek için en az 25-30 dk bekliyosunuz . ( rezervasyonunuz yoksa ) . eti iyi pişmiş istememize rağmen az ile orta arası birşey getirdiler , tek beğendiğim havuç baklavası !

kesinlikle abartılan bir yer. valesi bile kendini bir şey sanıyor. bmw'yi falan burun kıvırarak alıyorlar. mekana rezervasyon yaptırıyorsunuz gittiğinizde yine kapıda bekletiyorlar. i̇nanılmaz kalabalık oluyor. garsonlar sipariş verirken asla yardımcı olmuyorlar. i̇şleri güçleri kendi aralarında kakara kikiri. bazı masalara şov. şımarıklar. yalandan efendimli konuşuyorlar.nusretbu kadar şımarık değil size ne oluyor yani?? yemekler arasında 20-25 dk gibi bir süre bekledikten sonra soğuk gelen etten lezzet almanız imkansız! her şey parça parça geldi, yemek geldi içki yok. i̇çki geldi yemek yok. buz istersiniz gelmez. buz gelir içki bitmiş olur. ekmek istersiniz suratınıza sanki fosfatlı gübre istemişsiniz gibi bakarlar. tam anlamıyla rezalet! bir daha üzerine para verseniz gitmem. halbuki nusrete sempati duyarım. yokluktan gelip neler başarmış derim ama sen o kadar sene uğraş didin, çalışanların bunu mahvetsin! olacak şey değil. şirketimizin,şubelerin ve yabancı ortakların katılacağı tüm iş yemeği organizasyonlarını burada yapmak istemiştik. i̇yi ki önceden gitmişim de rezaleti görmüşüm. hüsran.

aslında herkesin dilinde olduğundan çok bişi söyleyemeye gerek yok. dallas steak çok efsane bi tat değildi. i̇yi etçilerde yiyebileceğiniz türden. amanusretburgeri gerçekten efsane güzeldi. sadece burger yemeye bile defalarca gidilebilir. yanında getirmiş olduğu patates kızartması vasattı. havuç dilim baklavada iyi diyebileceğimiz türden. mekan tabiki kalabalık sıra bekleme derdin var. o yoğunluğa alışmış olmaları lazım ama çay için çok beklettiler. altı üstü bir çay ama 10 15 dk bekledik. pahalı bir mekan olduğundan hiç olmazsa bir burger yemeğe gidilebilir :)

etleri küçümsenecek kadar değil. gayet kıvamında ve lezzetli, servis hızlı, personel ilgili, normalde 5 puanlık yer ama tek hoşuma gitmeyen restoranın orta yetinde misafirlerin masalarının yanıbaşında otobüs kuyruğu gibinusretile resim çektirme telaşı. i̇nsanlar yedikleri yemeğin keyfine varmak yerine, konum paylaşma telaşındalar :)

i wanted to make it -5 because of the really bad service.
i booked a table for 2 in a certain time went there earlier cuz i know how it’s crowded, there where around 8 groups of people standing in the door waiting there table to be ready kept walking around the restaurant to ask anyone for my table!! there where really rude and had no experience in booking after waiting around 30 mins i discovered that there are 4 bookings in front of us so why did the ask for time when i booked.
i’ve been into crowded restaurants but never like this, the waitress kept pushing people.
i now thatnusretworked so hard for this restaurant but he need to teach his employees and waiters and give them lessons on manners and stop fooling around with an ipad that has no reservation right.
