if i can give this place a -5 rating, i would.

we arrived at 21:30, exactly to our reservation. the below image shows how chaotic, unprofessional and unorganized receiving customers is. a hostess is standing in the middle, screaming at people with another hostess pushing people and clapping her hands in their faces.itis clearly not the customers’ fault that there is no queue or reservations are not organized.

service wasn’t bad once we were seated, but once we were done with our food we were no longer welcomed.

food was good, but definitely not worth the humiliation. i was personally pushed by a waiter and asked to go out faster on our way out of the restaurant. for a 400$ bill you would expect a better service and treatment, especially that our table was booked through a vip concierge service.

had an amazing experience at nusr-et. we were lucky we didnt wait a lot in the huge queue we had a booking though there was a still a waiting list. loved the ambiance while waiting... everyone is so welcoming and so entertaining... smiles all over their faces... service was fast though the crowd... food was perfect 5+ meat from...from its taste.... it's cooking and it's presentation... fries are refills... we tried the burger anditwas so juicy and delicious... definitely coming back

well not a lot to say... perfectly cooked meat with a lot of fat that takes up a couple of notches! started with some fresh salads (avocado and goat cheese) went through some appetizers like onion flower and mushroom /spinach skillet and finishedita lot of meat ? with asadu being the start followed by the smothered tenderloin with butter! ps: a must try is the passion fruit frozen margarita!

be careful and check your bill. charged me for 2 extra steaks, drinks and a dessert...then told meitwas for my driver .. who happened to be very friendly with the manager.

no one asked us and made us feel likeitnormal for a random driver to eat on our dime.

all the sudden our waiter didn't speak english. after and hour they saiditwas their mistake from a table that left before us... 

manger and driver were running some kind of unsuspecting tourists !!!! there was no other way to look at it.

i bokked a table 2 weeks before i show up but the place was more than busy when i arrived and people were crazy there.
anyway, after sometime i was ready for the lamb ribs,itis something really delicious and not to be missed.
the baklawa is also the best i tried in istanbul.
i did not like the fact that you reserve a table but you wait to get it...

nusr-et is the best steak house i ever tried ,first of all the waiter was very kind and nice we waited for long butitdeserved
the service was very fast i took the special burger,itwas very juicy and never tasted such a burger . i’m in love in lamb platter. and i will stip talking now and let you tryit?
money wise: affordable
i recommend this place and definitely i’m going to travel again to try all the menu ?

one word : amazing!!
it was completely worth the wait! we had made reservations a week before our visit and still had to wait for an hour to be seated butitwas all worth it!!
not even one team member was not friendly although people were very disturbed for waiting but the staff were all smiling and friendly, offering free fries and sausages for the people waiting!
their famous mustache is a part of their uniform ?
we come to the most important part: the food!!
it was exquisite!! out of this world! the nusr-et burget is the juiciest yummiest burger you will ever try!
tried the “nusre-et kobe” and “toscana” both were simply great!! juicy, tasty, and cooked perfectly!
and we couldnt have ended our meal without the yummy traditional turkish baklawah dessert with the ice cream.
such an amazing meal and experience!! highly recommended!!!

it's not my first time at nusr-et , but this time i was tremendously disappointed ?
the food is still ok. unfortunately i can't say much about the staff. i had booked a table 2 days before at 9:30 pm on sunday , to arrive and find that i had no table and more then 50 people where waiting . the stewardess was so rude and mean and impolite. i asked her to check again if the reservation was in my family name instead of my first name . she founditbut even though , she told me i had no place and no table and that many people are waiting as well. i didn't get a table before 1 hour and 45 mins after i screamed at the manager and showed him my phone conversation. they gave me a table.
i used to love nus-ret , but i will not be visitingitagain unfortunately it's staff especially the stewardess with the long hair and the one with the short hair and grey highlights. how a shame to be treated like animals when we obied by the rules. much overrated ? very bad experience .

i had the chance to try the place during my last visit to istanbul. we went monday nigh, the place was packed and we had to wait around 20 minutes to be seated even though we had reservation - but we arrived 30 minutes late from our reservation time. we had 3 starters to share that were very good - one of them was the beef carpaccio that they do with a twist,itwas very good but i prefer the authentic italian one. as the place is known for the meat and meat cuts, my expectations were higher - the meat is very good but i had better. even though the place was very busy, but the service was excellent - fast and very attentive.

i have been wanting to try this place for a while now. i am glad i finally madeitto istanbul and got the chance to live “ the nusr-et experience”.
make sure to book 2 to 3 weeks ahead, and prepare yourself for a long wait, but trust meitwill definitely be worth it.

the wooden interior gives the place a warm vibe but what makes you feel all comfy and cozy is the staff and service. each and every single table is perfectly taken care of. waiters are friendly, attentive and always around. they even perform a special show while serving the food.

now for the main act. meat.
we went for the new york steak. the tender strip is heavenly cooked. the waiter slicesitup on a wooden platter and its pink juiciness just stands out but the signature “salt bae” touch is what does the magic trick. baked potatoes and spinach purée are served on the side.
we then had the special nusret dish. this is a must try. the special zone beef fillet comes almost raw. the waiter bathesitin boiling melted butter over a hot stone, the beef gets cooked to perfection with bread bites on the side dipped in the sauce before being served.
we also had the nusr-et burgers. to die for! you cant top that quality meat, rich taste, and amazing ingredients.
fries are refilled on the house.
and for the final act: dessert.
the cherry on top, as if this place needed one! a huge baklava tray comes right at you. the waiter opens up each slice, stuffsitwith ice cream and then chopsitup. you can feel the mouthwatering flavor with each and every single crunchy bite, bathing in sugar syrup.
traditional turkish tea is served at the end to cool down.

this is, by far, one of my best dining experiences!

one of the best steak houses' i've been to in my life.

starters, ribs (beef and lamb), salads and desserts are out of this world.

do not miss onitif you ever visit istanbul.

great place for meat lovers!! honestly not the best place to relax and enjoy the meal, its too crowded and not comfortable. but best meat ! we tried the butter fried steaks and the sushi steaks to die for !
 i had the chance to taste the famous baklawa desert and that experience was a special one. this i a very instagram friendly outlet with folks mainly turning up to take pictures with the namesake curator or the process of serving their food on the table.itis a must visit if you're a fan of meat & fancy presentations.

be ready to wait for a long period of time!
i've been to nusret around 8-9 times (basically whenever i visit istanbul).
the food is great. superb goat cheese salad, lokum, lokum burger, and meat sushi. however, the fries accompanying can sometimes be cold.

it usually crowded with lots of locals and tourists. even with reservation, you will have to wait for quite some time.itmight be a better idea to go during the day. eventually,itwill be worth the wait.
it has a casual ambiance.
must try.

point by point review of our unfortunate dinner experience at nusret from entering to leaving:

1- reservations were not acknowledged and we had to wait like all the walk-ins. the place was obviously and carelessly overbooked by at least ten tables, on purpose maybe even to increase the hype. host did not bother giving us a waiting time and responded with “don’t know can be 5 min can be 2 hours”. this is a recurrent issue based on reviews
2- as soon as we headed towards our table i couldn’t help but smell a bad, moist, stench. did not help with the appetite. place has no circulation and is in deep need of renovation
3- waiter came to say hi 30 minutes after sitting. he bullied us into ordering overpriced wine/champagne and a “set” of salad and meats. all of which we said no thank you because we had wanted other things, to which he made obvious he was annoyed about. advice: don’t be pushed into ordering what they want
4- tomahawk steak madeitto us rare even though we ordereditmedium. waiter was no where to be found for 15 min so we ended up eatingitasitis. actually had to leave half ofitbecause we’re not used to rare. waiter forgot to cutitinitially as well becauseitwas so busy
5- the so called nusr-et special finally made its way one hour after ordering.
6- three hours after entering this dump we paid the overpriced bill and left.

if you want steak, go to a steakhouse. this is not a steakhouse. it’s a zoo and nusr-et should be ashamed of himself for maintaining this circus
