nusr-et steakhouse

i’ve tried eating in different places. i can say that nusre-et steakhouse is the best steakhouse in the world by far.
the atmosphere, the smell, the presentation of food, and the taste are what every stake lover is looking for.
i ordered ribeye as starter and dallas steak anditwas really great. unfortunately when we arrived they were out of most of the menu items which could the only negative point.
the seasoning of meat is incredible, just order anything with a lot of fat and to be medium done and enjoy..
highly recommend.

i traveled with my brother and told us that this restaurant is a must, we wait 1 hour to sit, the place was extraordinary the food sooo tasty and made near you, very delightful taste, reallyitis a must for gourmet steak

we went there yesterday afternoon with my wife and 2 relatives. i will rate each thing seperatley so as to makeitclear to all.
1.) there is a guy, thin medium height who handles the rezervations, he is rather rude and sometimes speaks with a very rude manner. but the rest of the table staff are better and listen to you.
2.) the place did not smell good, there was a moist smell inside which is not what you want when you eat at ant place, let alone this one.
3.) the toilets are not that clean and very cramped for such a large place. definitely need an upgrade.
4.) the food, we ordered 3 burgers, the burgers were not nicely done, the fries were very cold and even when we told them, they just brought back some more cold fries. also, at their istinye park location for 10 lira on top of the burger you get sweets and coke added in. but at this place that did not apply. for burgers you are much better off going to their istinye park location.

this place was on my bucket list a long time ago and finally i got the opportunity to taste it. i didnt get the chance to photograph everything cause the food was epic! the meat is delicious!!and the presentation is amazing.but the service was bad ; we ordered 3 burgers and they only got us 2 fries , we asked the staff several times foritbut they simply ignored .the baklawa and the tea are super good! its also a must order.

the moment i book a ticket to turkey , a must visit was to nusr et etiler steakhouse. we went for the first time without any reservation at 8, they told us that we needed to wait up to 2 hours so we left. i reserved for the next day at 2. as we arrived our table was ready and they were quick to serve us.

place: very nice outlet in one of the most prestigious streets of etiler, istanbul. outdoor seating is very nice.

service: fast, good service yet they were a bit mean and neutral.

food :

starters :

 dana carppacio which is thin raw meat slices with parmesan cheese, rocket leaves and olive oil. if you don`t mind eating raw meat then definitely order it. if not, then skipitas a starter. (2/5)

salads :

tulum peynir salatasi : goat cheese salad with greens, pomegranate , olive oil and walnuts. i didn`t like a lot the combination of the goast cheese with the sauce they did.itwas okay. if you`re not a fan of goat cheese again do not order it.ithas a bitter taste. (3/5)

beef filets:

lokum: slices of thin steak filets which so tender and juicy and taste great with salt. comes with a plate of fries which are seasoned with origano but they were somehow soggy rather than crunchy and crispy. (4/5)

if you want a buttery taste , make sure to order the nusr et special whereitis served with hot butter sauce straight from the pan.

burgers:

nusr et burger: a big fat meat  burger patty with cheese , smoked beef  and caramelized onions. the beef patty is tender and a bit juicy yet lacks a little of seasoning.itwas good. comes also with fries. the burger is huge so you can share with someone if you are ordering other plates. (4/5)

garnish: 

mantar:  mushroom  marinated with black pepper, garlic and onion. i didn`t finditas a necessity garnish. not a major fan of mushrooms too. (2/5)

sogan cicegi: flower onion that is deep fried and comes with a tartar sauce. i am not a fan of onion rings so i regreted orderingitbecauseitwas just oily and tasteless. (1/5)

desserts: baklava with ashta icecream which is the signature dessert in turkey. is if very good yet too sweet so you could have 2 pieces maximum.

drink: turkish tea on the house

overall experience:  the waiter was somehow mean. whenitcame to the carpacio we told him thatitwas our fault that we didn`t know thatitwould be raw meat and that we didn`t want to eat it. he was very rude by just saying okay i will throwitaway and will not takeitout of the check. and we didn`t even mention anything about the bill.

i think social media is being over rated with all these food places. i do admit nusr et sells one of the most tender and juiciest meats andittastes good. but nothing really special or wow. the food tastes good but you should know what to order depending on your references. i would find meat places in beirut that sell also this kind of meat.

prices: not very expensive yet not cheap .itis cheaper than other outlets in other countries. we ended up spending 100$ on those plates.

make sure to book online before you go. peak time is between 6-11 pm
again this is my own taste and reference. but i`m being honest because i had high expectations of this place.

if i could give this experience a 0, i would. nusret ruined my istanbul trip. i had booked a table on opentable as soon as i booked my plane ticket from dubai. i got there for my 8.30pm table, was made to wait till 10pm. over 50 people waiting, one hostess walking around and not giving answers to anyone (or lying and saying 2 min) and a horribly disorganized system. by the time food reaches the tables,ithas been coughed and sneezed on by the people waiting around. i do not recommend this to anyone. their dubai branch is more expensive but please go there instead if you get the chance and save yourself the trouble.

this is the steak real deal. if your feet ever got you near the place, you must visit it. don't think twice about your order, just choose from the menu and u will like it. i went there during my 5 days stay in istanbul 3 times.itwas worth every penny

best steak house in the world , i was shocked of how much the meat was tasty , i ate a meal for two on my own. i also heard that they are opening in dubai, abu dhabi and london.
guys if you are in istanbulitis a must for you to try it.

okey! i rest my case.
nusr-et had me first at this magnificent salad of goat cheese with the dried blueberry and grapes! it's just amazing.
now that i have tried their food in both branches, i really recommend this branch! the service is quite perfect; helpful, friendly and funny!
they serve you with a funny act/show to keep you entertained that's what makes a good service though!
the food was overwhelming, yet we have ordered more than enough!! we couldn't eat half ofit?
don't ask me! i would have enjoyed my bowl of salad without all of these dishes. but men will always be men!!

traveled to turkey specifically to taste nusr-et!
we booked a day before for 8:00 pm, got a table by around 9:15! reservations are not actually respected,itwasnt clear who came first as the host was overwhelmed by the number of people jammed in the waiting area (would say around 60-70).

good thing is the food was worth the wait! we ordered almost everything on the menu just to have a taste of everything. the meat melts in your mouth, the salad is fresh, the baklava ice cream is amazing!

the atmosphere (once you sit down) is nice, the waiters are friendly and they hand fed us (which they do sometimes as a sort of entertainment).

anything on their menu is recommended! worth every penny!

this place was on my bucket-list and finally i trieditlast week during my stay in istanbul.
the experience was just amazing.
i enjoyed the food and the ambience even thoughitwas so crowded

this is definitely a place you need to visit when in istanbul.ithas great meats from beef to lamb. nusret makes sure to cookitperfectly.
the atmosphere is nice and suitable for lunch or dinner for business, with friends or family.

been there without a prior reservation .... anditwas a mistake , stayed in queue for 1h 40min .
and expect a bit of rudeness by the spg, maybe coz of client’s pressure.
food was perfect
all dishes are recommended if you are looking for real men meat crave .
staff ( waiters ) were kind despite wrong orders landed on our table 3 times
wine list requested from the waiter but..... never received so we had no wine.
service timing was acceptable

prices were affordable comparing to other branches in other countries.

so i love their steaks. but i didn't get to have them. hence a 1.

there are two types of suckers who have hyped up this place. first, people from dubai who pay ridiculous premium to eat at nusr-et at four seasons and come to turkey thinking, "wow let's have the same steaks for 30% of the price!". second suckers are locals who have seen salt bae's videos throwing salt on his elbow in leonardo di caprio's company. the irony is that none of these people come for the food!

i booked a table for 8pm. was in time. was told i have to wait 15 minutes. then after 20 minutes was told the wait is another 20. then at 8:45 i was told my reservation was for 8:30 and i was early and that my wait is another 20 minutes.itfelt like a kebab place outside a nightclub.

they also told me that they don't take "table reservations". what the schmuck was the reservation for? toilets?

they should change the way they work. because they really are about to become a great steaks brand. they haven't yet.
