nusr-et steakhouse

first time that i have ever seen a restaurant doing a waiting list for people that have booked a table. worst organisation ever.

be ready to waitina crowded place where waiters are pushing clients waiting to be seated (for litterally hours) to make their way. it's a total chaos.

the food ? not even worth being mentioned.

i wanted to make it -5 because of the really bad service.
i booked a table for 2ina certain time went there earlier cuz i know how it’s crowded, there where around 8 groups of people standinginthe door waiting there table to be ready kept walking around the restaurant to ask anyone for my table!! there where really rude and had no experienceinbooking after waiting around 30 mins i discovered that there are 4 bookingsinfront of us so why did the ask for time when i booked.
i’ve been into crowded restaurants but never like this, the waitress kept pushing people.
i now that nusret worked so hard for this restaurant but he need to teach his employees and waiters and give them lessons on manners and stop fooling around with an ipad that has no reservation right.

guys, we’ve not been to nusretindubai yet and don't think we ever will - simply because of how expensive it is. but nusretinistanbul is so affordable and the quality is spot on! an absolute must visit wheninistanbul. hands down the best burger we've ever eateninour lives!!! ever!!! we didn’t know burgers could taste this good - it was the moment we both looked at each other, our eyes locked and we knew this was special. .....the best dish we had at nusretinistanbul and for only 35 tl. definition of foodgasm.
the beef tenderloin - little slices of heaven. we also ordered the rack of lamb and jack finished all of this - yes, all!! with a little help from me (fine, i had one lamb chop!). and only 260 tl. the lamb was so tender and light that even after eating all that, jack wasn't too stuffed for dessert! and that burger ?❤️
the dessert was deliciously warm, crisp, buttery and flaky and the combination of the vanilla ice cream is brilliant!! we polished off a slice each!
and we had the perfect end to the evening because we met saltbae himself!!! such a humble man who took the time to take selfies with literally everyoneinthe restaurant.
i cannot recommend this place enough! 

although it’s a steak house,
the burger over there is so unique and yummy!
onion rings as well!
it’s one of the very popular placesinistanbul “a must try”
every time we visit this amazing city, we should have a stop for either dinner or lunch

nusr et is a special steak house, i enjoyed the nusr et special, service is great, food is great, they are professionals especiallyinthe way they serve the plates.

don't bother and make a reservation because they make you wait anyways. no im sorry actually they make you fight for your table. so chaotic and unorganized, unhelpful eye rolling hostesses. we went on a thursday night had a reservation for 7:30 pm we called them politely and told them that we will be 10 minutes late. how foolish of us little did we know that it does not matter. we get there and its like the most crowded souk you can imagine you have to push people to get to the hostess and then goodluck waiting. oh we did sitinthe end after 1 hour and 10 minutes but that was after my husband blew at the hostess for making the walkins sit before us. 10 minutes after we sat at our table (which by the way was shared by others) and before even our food arrived the bar caught fire from one of their stunts and 3 people got burnt. 1 girl was burnt from head to toe. people were screaming and running and there was no exit but that by the bar. so yeah after that scare we lost our appetite. but then the famous salt bae came and was surrounded by cameras and phones while keeping his grim on as if nothing happened and as if people weren't affected for life. thank god we were unharmed. i was once a nusret fan. not anymore. never again.

the steak house place to visit wheninistambul. despite the queue, you will enjoy the ambiance with a nice wine until being seated. ordered a rib eye and a filet. equally tasty. not to miss the baklava desset with its ice cream as a finish!

hell of an experience.

a must visit for any meat/steak lover.

we arrived with no prior reservation, waited for about 20 enjoyable minutes ( the amount of lovely trays of food passing infront of us was considered as an entertainment with all these aromas blendingin? ) then we were seated on a big shared table. the rest is history. ❤❤

time passed so fast, just like all the lovely times with a twist of good foodinthis novel. ❤

the best steakhouseinistanbul, nusr-et is the most innovative when it comes to how they serve their food to meat lovers. from steak to lamb chops and beef cooked with boiling butter. the service is excellent and the meat quality is wonderful ??

great ambiance, unreal meat that melts like butterinyour mouth. ordered the nusret special, hardal soslu dallas steak, nusret special burger, lokum burger and finished it off with their special baklava. i recommend all especially the nusret special burger and nusr-et special.

(english translation is below) mekana girip yerimize oturana kadar ilgi alaka şahaneydi ama siparişi verdikten sonra kimse ilgilenmedi, yaklaşık 4 farklı garsona siparişi hatırlatmak zorunda kaldık. i̇çecek olarak ne alırsınız sorusuna almayacağımı belirttiğimde "nasıl yani hiçbir şey mi içmeyeceksiniz" diye soran bir garson bizim masamızdan sorumluydu. fotoğrafta görmüş olduğunuz havuç dilimi baklavayı ben sipariş ettim ancak karşımda oturan uzak doğulu arkadaş saniyede 2 fotoğraf çeken bir makineyle her şeyi fotoğrafladığı için sunumu ona yaptılar, ardından baklavayı önüme atıp gittiler. yan masada bir beyefendinin şarabı bittiğinde doldurmak için bir garson herdaim hazır beklerken, ben hesap lütfen diye her gördüğüm garsona seslendim ama sizin masayla x kişisi ilgileniyor denilerek yaklaşık 20 dakika hesap bekledim. +400 lira adisyon bırakıp bahşiş vermeyecekseniz nusret'e gidip de ne kendinizi rezil edin ne de yanınızdakine rezil olun. nusret nereden geldiğini çabuk unutmuş olmalı ki bu kadar şımarık çalışanı bünyesine toplayıp onlara ekmek kapısı olmuş. lezzete değinecek olursak, iki adet lokum burger ve iki adet havuç dilim baklava aldık. lokum burgerlerden birisi güzelken öbüründe sadece karemelize soğan tadı baskındı, bu fiyata bu burger asla yakışmadı. tek memnun kaldığım şey havuç dilimi baklavaydı.

they were very friendly until we found a place and sit down. after we ordered lokum burger and baklava, they started to behaveina rude way. we waited our order to be served for 30 min and they made us to wait another 20 min for cheque.inaddition, i was the one who ordered baklava but they served itinfront of an asian customer because he was taking photographs... if you don't spend +100$ and give tip to waiters, you cannot expect good quality and friendly behavior. at this place, you get only what you pay for, money talks.

a must visit placeinistanbul. this is the main branch so you have to expect a waiting list to be served. if it’s your first visit, you won’t be annoyed with the wait as you’ll be astonished with the ambience. their steak is the best i’ve tasted across different countries.

we visited this place all the way from london so expectations were high. here were the problems:

- waited 1.5 hours for a table with no place to sit and people were waiting for a table as if it’s rush hourinlondon underground!! the restaurant is tiny, so much for a man with a multi-million dollar restaurant chain.

- they have complete lack of organizational skills. you are called to your table by a tiny lady with a tiny voice shouting a name out loud. you have to stand over her to hear it as the music is so loud. they have no token system, no beeper system - nothing. it’s a complete and utter joke.

- whilst waiting for 1.5 hours, you can see the kitchen behind cooking. no staff were wearing gloves. they were using their dirty, crummy fingers to handle all the meats, along with plastic boards and not wooden

- once we got a table, it was shared with 3 other people, almost like sittingina food court. so much for privacy.
- we were ready to order and then were told there are no steaks!!!

- we proceeded to order the only dish available on the menu which was fillet mignon.

- it was cooked rare when we asked for medium. this was alongside the rudeness of most of the staff. most turkish people are polite but these people are utterly rude.

- when we asked for it to be cooked medium, it came back cutinhalf and cooked like a slipper!!! it was very tough and we refused to eat it.

- the fillet had absolutely zero taste including the meat itself. it comes with no sides and no sauce.

- we left arguing with the manager about the complete and utter disgrace of a restaurant.

this man is supposed to be an almost-billionaire and has no careinthe world about his customers.

over hyped garbage - avoid.

this is the most overrated steak house i have ever ate in. their steaks are good but nothing special. especially the oneinnew york is too expensive for the quality. there are better steak housesinturkey.

meat lovers will appreciate this place. here you can meet the famous nusret chef. if you gointhe evening, be sure to book a table. full landinginthe afternoon ?
