nusr-et steakhouse

if you love meat, you'll love this place. the steak sushi, steak spaghettiandlokum steak are some of the best dishes they serve. the dessert is amazing as well, you'll see a guy walking around with a tray of baklava amd ice cream. they also do a great non-alcoholic mojito.

it was disapointing!!! we have reserved 2 days agoandwe were astonished from the staff responsible saying that we are like everybody on the waiting list just like more than 30 guests. we came from lebanon as tourists to eat as we heard it that has the best steak; however, it was a sum of: lack of professionalism in greeting, not keeping a reservationandway to dealing with. surely we spread it so everyone knows. what a shame!!!!

the most camera friendly restaurant with all the easy going but with cool actions chefsandwaiters make our visit full with laughandcheers, the food taste great thank god as i am not very fun with the turkish cuisinesandthe prices are reasonable compare with the portion as well, the only issue is the waiting line though we had the reservation...

every time i travel to istanbul i visit nusr et steakhouse. the place is always crowded. if you want to visit i recommend to book before you go otherwise you will have to wait for couple hours before you will be able to have a meal. the taste of the food is amazing especially the nusr et special burger. it is juicyandthe sauce is yummy

i’ve tried eating in different places. i can say that nusre-et steakhouse is the best steakhouse in the world by far.
the atmosphere, the smell, the presentation of food,andthe taste are what every stake lover is looking for.
i ordered ribeye as starteranddallas steakandit was really great. unfortunately when we arrived they were out of most of the menu items which could the only negative point.
the seasoning of meat is incredible, just order anything with a lot of fatandto be medium doneandenjoy..
highly recommend.

i traveled with my brotherandtold us that this restaurant is a must, we wait 1 hour to sit, the place was extraordinary the food sooo tastyandmade near you, very delightful taste, really it is a must for gourmet steak
big recommendation for that restaurant

we went there yesterday afternoon with my wifeand2 relatives. i will rate each thing seperatley so as to make it clear to all.
1.) there is a guy, thin medium height who handles the rezervations, he is rather rudeandsometimes speaks with a very rude manner. but the rest of the table staff are betterandlisten to you.
2.) the place did not smell good, there was a moist smell inside which is not what you want when you eat at ant place, let alone this one.
3.) the toilets are not that cleanandvery cramped for such a large place. definitely need an upgrade.
4.) the food, we ordered 3 burgers, the burgers were not nicely done, the fries were very coldandeven when we told them, they just brought back some more cold fries. also, at their istinye park location for 10 lira on top of the burger you get sweetsandcoke added in. but at this place that did not apply. for burgers you are much better off going to their istinye park location.

this place was on my bucket list a long time agoandfinally i got the opportunity to taste it. i didnt get the chance to photograph everything cause the food was epic! the meat is delicious!!and the presentation is amazing.but the service was bad ; we ordered 3 burgersandthey only got us 2 fries , we asked the staff several times for it but they simply ignored .the baklawaandthe tea are super good! its also a must order.

the moment i book a ticket to turkey , a must visit was to nusr et etiler steakhouse. we went for the first time without any reservation at 8, they told us that we needed to wait up to 2 hours so we left. i reserved for the next day at 2. as we arrived our table was readyandthey were quick to serve us.

place: very nice outlet in one of the most prestigious streets of etiler, istanbul. outdoor seating is very nice.

service: fast, good service yet they were a bit meanandneutral.

food :

starters :

 dana carppacio which is thin raw meat slices with parmesan cheese, rocket leavesandolive oil. if you don`t mind eating raw meat then definitely order it. if not, then skip it as a starter. (2/5)

salads :

tulum peynir salatasi : goat cheese salad with greens, pomegranate , olive oilandwalnuts. i didn`t like a lot the combination of the goast cheese with the sauce they did. it was okay. if you`re not a fan of goat cheese again do not order it. it has a bitter taste. (3/5)

beef filets:

lokum: slices of thin steak filets which so tenderandjuicyandtaste great with salt. comes with a plate of fries which are seasoned with origano but they were somehow soggy rather than crunchyandcrispy. (4/5)

if you want a buttery taste , make sure to order the nusr et special where it is served with hot butter sauce straight from the pan.

burgers:

nusr et burger: a big fat meat  burger patty with cheese , smoked beef andcaramelized onions. the beef patty is tenderanda bit juicy yet lacks a little of seasoning. it was good. comes also with fries. the burger is huge so you can share with someone if you are ordering other plates. (4/5)

garnish: 

mantar:  mushroom  marinated with black pepper, garlicandonion. i didn`t find it as a necessity garnish. not a major fan of mushrooms too. (2/5)

sogan cicegi: flower onion that is deep friedandcomes with a tartar sauce. i am not a fan of onion rings so i regreted ordering it because it was just oilyandtasteless. (1/5)

desserts: baklava with ashta icecream which is the signature dessert in turkey. is if very good yet too sweet so you could have 2 pieces maximum.

drink: turkish tea on the house

overall experience:  the waiter was somehow mean. when it came to the carpacio we told him that it was our fault that we didn`t know that it would be raw meatandthat we didn`t want to eat it. he was very rude by just saying okay i will throw it awayandwill not take it out of the check.andwe didn`t even mention anything about the bill.

i think social media is being over rated with all these food places. i do admit nusr et sells one of the most tenderandjuiciest meatsandit tastes good. but nothing really special or wow. the food tastes good but you should know what to order depending on your references. i would find meat places in beirut that sell also this kind of meat.

prices: not very expensive yet not cheap . it is cheaper than other outlets in other countries. we ended up spending 100$ on those plates.

make sure to book online before you go. peak time is between 6-11 pm
again this is my own tasteandreference. but i`m being honest because i had high expectations of this place.

if i could give this experience a 0, i would. nusret ruined my istanbul trip. i had booked a table on opentable as soon as i booked my plane ticket from dubai. i got there for my 8.30pm table, was made to wait till 10pm. over 50 people waiting, one hostess walking aroundandnot giving answers to anyone (or lyingandsaying 2 min)anda horribly disorganized system. by the time food reaches the tables, it has been coughedandsneezed on by the people waiting around. i do not recommend this to anyone. their dubai branch is more expensive but please go there instead if you get the chanceandsave yourself the trouble.

its a must visit when in istanbul !! the waiters are sooo professionalandfriendly.!

this is the steak real deal. if your feet ever got you near the place, you must visit it. don't think twice about your order, just choose from the menuandu will like it. i went there during my 5 days stay in istanbul 3 times. it was worth every penny

must pass by every time i am in istanbul. the best steakandribs. cool service. clean. friendly staff. at least they speak english. make sure to try also the burger. don't miss the dessert.

best steak house in the world , i was shocked of how much the meat was tasty , i ate a meal for two on my own. i also heard that they are opening in dubai, abu dhabiandlondon.
guys if you are in istanbul it is a must for you to try it.

okey! i rest my case.
nusr-et had me first at this magnificent salad of goat cheese with the dried blueberryandgrapes! it's just amazing.
now that i have tried their food in both branches, i really recommend this branch! the service is quite perfect; helpful, friendlyandfunny!
they serve you with a funny act/show to keep you entertained that's what makes a good service though!
the food was overwhelming, yet we have ordered more than enough!! we couldn't eat half of it ?
don't ask me! i would have enjoyed my bowl of salad without all of these dishes. but men will always be men!!
