nusr-et steakhouse

every time i travel to istanbul i visit nusr et steakhouse. the place is always crowded. if you want to visit i recommend to book before you go otherwise you will have to wait for couple hours before you will be able to have a meal. the taste of the food is amazing especially the nusr et special burger. it is juicy and the sauce is yummy

i’ve tried eating in different places. i can say that nusre-et steakhouse is the best steakhouse in the world by far.
the atmosphere, the smell, the presentation of food, and the taste are what every stake lover is looking for.
i ordered ribeye as starter and dallas steak and it was really great. unfortunately when we arrived they were out of most of the menu items which could the only negative point.
the seasoning of meat is incredible, just order anything with a lot of fat and to be medium done and enjoy..
highly recommend.

i traveled with my brother and told us that this restaurant is a must, we wait 1 hour to sit, the place was extraordinary the food sooo tasty and made near you, very delightful taste, really it is a must for gourmet steak

we went there yesterday afternoon with my wife and 2 relatives. i will rate each thing seperatley so as to make it clear to all.
1.) there is a guy, thin medium height who handles the rezervations, he is rather rude and sometimes speaks with a very rude manner. but the rest of the table staff are better and listen to you.
2.) the place did not smell good, there was a moist smell inside which is not what you want when you eat at ant place, let alone this one.
3.) the toilets are not that clean and very cramped for such a large place. definitely need an upgrade.
4.) the food, we ordered 3 burgers, the burgers were not nicely done, the fries were very cold and even when we told them, they just brought back some more cold fries. also, at their istinye park location for 10 lira on top of the burger you get sweets and coke added in. but at this place that did not apply. for burgers you are much better off going to their istinye park location.

this place was on my bucket list a long time ago and finally i got the opportunity to taste it. i didnt get the chance to photograph everything cause the food was epic! the meat is delicious!!and the presentation is amazing.but the service was bad ; we ordered 3 burgers and they only got us 2 fries , we asked the staff several times for it but they simply ignored .the baklawa and the tea are super good! its also a must order.

the moment i book a ticket to turkey , a must visit was to nusr et etiler steakhouse. we went for the first time without any reservation at 8, they told us that we needed to wait up to 2 hours so we left. i reserved for the next day at 2. as we arrived our table was ready and they were quick to serve us.

place: very nice outlet in one of the most prestigious streets of etiler, istanbul. outdoor seating is very nice.

service: fast, good service yet they were a bit mean and neutral.

food :

starters :

 dana carppacio which is thin raw meat slices with parmesan cheese, rocket leaves and olive oil. if you don`t mind eating raw meat then definitely order it. if not, then skip it as a starter. (2/5)

salads :

tulum peynir salatasi : goat cheese salad with greens, pomegranate , olive oil and walnuts. i didn`t like a lot the combination of the goast cheese with the sauce they did. it was okay. if you`re not a fan of goat cheese again do not order it. it has a bitter taste. (3/5)

beef filets:

lokum: slices of thin steak filets which so tender and juicy and taste great with salt. comes with a plate of fries which are seasoned with origano but they were somehow soggy rather than crunchy and crispy. (4/5)

if you want a buttery taste , make sure to order the nusr et special where it is served with hot butter sauce straight from the pan.

burgers:

nusr et burger: a big fat meat  burger patty with cheese , smoked beef  and caramelized onions. the beef patty is tender and a bit juicy yet lacks a little of seasoning. it was good. comes also with fries. the burger is huge so you can share with someone if you are ordering other plates. (4/5)

garnish: 

mantar:  mushroom  marinated with black pepper, garlic and onion. i didn`t find it as a necessity garnish. not a major fan of mushrooms too. (2/5)

sogan cicegi: flower onion that is deep fried and comes with a tartar sauce. i am not a fan of onion rings so i regreted ordering it because it was just oily and tasteless. (1/5)

desserts: baklava with ashta icecream which is the signature dessert in turkey. is if very good yet too sweet so you could have 2 pieces maximum.

drink: turkish tea on the house

overall experience:  the waiter was somehow mean. when it came to the carpacio we told him that it was our fault that we didn`t know that it would be raw meat and that we didn`t want to eat it. he was very rude by just saying okay i will throw it away and will not take it out of the check. and we didn`t even mention anything about the bill.

i think social media is being over rated with all these food places. i do admit nusr et sells one of the most tender and juiciest meats and it tastes good. but nothing really special or wow. the food tastes good but you should know what to order depending on your references. i would find meat places in beirut that sell also this kind of meat.

prices: not very expensive yet not cheap . it is cheaper than other outlets in other countries. we ended up spending 100$ on those plates.

make sure to book online before you go. peak time is between 6-11 pm
again this is my own taste and reference. but i`m being honest because i had high expectations of this place.

nusret hamburgeri sulu sulu ve inanılmaz lezzetli. ekmek desen ekmek de her seferinde güzel. yanında patates kızartması ile geliyor.

tulum peynirli salatası bana tulumu sevdirdi, o derece yerinde bir tat ve lezzet. ben ekstra sos ya da yağ bile eklemiyorum. arada bir ağzıma gelen nar taneleri ekşisi oluyor zaten.

sucuğunu da yarım porsiyon tadımlık yaptırdık (normalde sucuk yarım porsiyon olmuyormuş. ama sağolsunlar, o şekilde getirdiler.) ve o da güzeldi. ağızda gıy gıy dönen lastik kıvamlı sucuklar gibi değil. yemeğinizin yanında bizim gibi isteyebilirsiniz, kıracaklarını sanmam.

son gidişimizde nusret special (2 kişilik 400-500 gram) yedik. i̇nce ince dilimlenmiş bonfileler masamızda gözlerimizin önünde kızgın tereyağ ile birkaç dakikada lokum gibi pişti. nefes almasan yedik. gerçekten acayip lezzetliydi ve asla şişirmedi. bir 500 gram daha olsa yerdik.

son olarak da havuç dilim dondurmalı baklavasına gelelim. ben hayatımda bu kadar hafif bir baklava yemedim. şerbeti asla ağır değil. arasındaki dondurması hemencecik eriyip tatlıyı eciş bücüş yapmıyor. dondurması da kaliteli yani, merak etmeyin.

etiler ana şube olduğu için, genelde arap ve i̇ranlı turistlerle dolu oluyor. biz hiç rezervasyon yaptırmadık. canımız nusret çekince gidiyoruz ve etiler şubede ilk gidişimizde 40 dakika bekledikten sonra oturabildik. son gidişimizde ise yer gösterici ablamız yabancılardan sıkılmış olacak ki, bizim genç ve bebekliğimize dayanamayıp 10 dakikada masaya aldı. şans yani. o güzelim etleri yedikten sonra beklediğinize pişman olmayacaksınız.

aldiği paranin hakkini veremeyen nusret marka i̇si̇m olduğu i̇çi̇n mi̇lleti̇ sömürüyo alan razi veren razi di̇i̇l çoğu ki̇şi̇ bi̇rdaha gi̇tmemeye kesi̇n karar vermi̇şti̇r bence birakin gi̇tmeyi̇n .....bana hak verenler yorumumu begenebilirler....

nusret'e gittiğim aksam içerideki yabancı müşteriler yerli müşterilere göre çok daha fazlaydı. sanirim turistik bir yer olmuş artık nusret.

"spagetti" harika, (90 tl)
"lokum" harika, (90 tl)
"kuzu kafes" bana biraz ağır geldi, (240 tl)
"nusret kobe" harika, (150 tl)
"patates cipsi" mükemmel, (20 tl)
"soğan çiçeği" tam bir bomba, (25 tl)
ancak fiyatlar aşırı yüksek.

not: yukarıda fiyatlar ocak 2017'ye ait. muhtemelen bu günlerde daha da yukseldi.

çalışanlar yoğunluktan stresliydi, yer gösteren bayan arkadaşın sesi kısılmıştı, derdini anlatamadı. söylenenin aksine serviste ve hizmette çok büyük sorun yaşamadık. (ancak talep etmediğiniz halde masanıza ıspanak, mantar sote vs.. getiriyorlar aman dikkat, hesapta ekstra 100 tl görebilirsiniz.)

bu fiyatlar beni üzmez diyorsanız tavsiye edilir. ancak yakın mesafede neredeyse ayni kalitede ve daha ekonomik "elbet" varken artık isi biraz zor gibi.

herkesin dilinde bir nusret bizimde uzun zamandır planlarımız arasındaydı. mekana girince öyle şatafat yok çalışanlar genelde nusret tarzı bıyıklı,her masa için ayrı garson görevlendiriliyor hesabınızı ödeyinceye kadar o kişi sizinle ilgileniyor. steak house müdavimi olmadığımız için menü istedik fiyatlar abartıldığı kadar değil. biz lokum ve biftek yedik yanına salata aldık. lokumda biftekte mükemmel ötesiydi tek sorun eşimin az pişmiş biftek sevmemesiydi tabi bu durum benim işime geldi ne varsa götürdüm :) kendinizi şımartmak istiyorsanız arada bir gidebilirsiniz,tabi bütçenizden şaşmamak koşuluyla? son olarak eğer iyi bir et severseniz garsonun sizi yönlendirmesine izin vermeyin siz ne yemek istiyorsanız onu isteyin.

if i could give this experience a 0, i would. nusret ruined my istanbul trip. i had booked a table on opentable as soon as i booked my plane ticket from dubai. i got there for my 8.30pm table, was made to wait till 10pm. over 50 people waiting, one hostess walking around and not giving answers to anyone (or lying and saying 2 min) and a horribly disorganized system. by the time food reaches the tables, it has been coughed and sneezed on by the people waiting around. i do not recommend this to anyone. their dubai branch is more expensive but please go there instead if you get the chance and save yourself the trouble.

its a must visit when in istanbul !! the waiters are sooo professional and friendly.!
the atmosphere is lovely and cozy,the best burger and steak i have ever had!

servis,lezzet,hız ve kalite oldukça iyi.her seferinde yemeğin tadı damağımda kalıyor ve buradan hep memnun ayrılıyorum.fiyat politikası elbette biraz farklı ama lezzete değiyor...

eti gercekten cok lezzetli fakat sira beklemeye cozum bulmalark lazim. rezervasyon olmasina ragmen 1 saate yakin bekledik, ismimizi cagiracak kadincagizin gecenin sonubda bagirmaktan sesi kisildi. insanlar adi soylendi mi acaba duyalim telasiyla rahat bekleyemiyorda, herkes birbirinn ustune cikiyir. bu denli pahali bir restoranda olmamasi gereken goruntuler. eti bu kadar lezzetli olmasa hayatta gitmezdim.
