nu nu's mediterranean café & market

great mediterranean!. my husband and i love thisrestaurantand even since we have moved away from edmond, we still drive up to the north side to eat here. the food is made fresh when you order it. it wait is not too bad, just like it would be at most normal restaurants. everything is cooked in front of you and we have yet to try a dish we did not like. the owners are nice and friendly and the cafe in the back is awesome as well. they have these chocolate bites that i have not been able to find anywhere else.....and they are amazing! definitely worth giving it a try!

the best in okc!. all of the food in this outstandingrestaurantis homemade by nunu and her staff. it is fresh and has a flavor that says wonderful family recipe. this is a true find.

favorite lebaneserestaurantever. this is the kind of place that when i lived in okc, i not only went with family every chance we got, but i would visit by myself just to have one of their amazing (and large) plates of cabbage rolls, hashwa, tabouli, and hummus. can’t forget the pistachio baklava & a tropical iced tea/lemonade. the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming; they’re part of what makes visiting nunu’s such a treat. i miss thisrestaurantsomething terrible! can’t find anything like it in my new city.

my second favorite mediterraneanrestaurantin the metro. the baklava is awesome, and the sample platter is my favorite. the hummus is one of the best in the city.

love the food!. my husband and i love healthy mediterranean food and this family ownedrestaurantserves the most delicious food. very fresh ingredients and unique home-made tastes. try their home-made baklava, it's so good. however, the main dishes are what knocked us out. we love their sampler plate which you can try various food. jordan is one of the the cooks we have met and he seems always happy and helpful. the owner, clay is extremely nice, he made us feel like family. great food and great service! a good place for healthy and tasty treats. yummm!

yes! bland, bland. we have visited nunu's numerous times. even though we ordered the kafta platter we were
brought the sampler plate and decided not to quibble over it. kafta was only o.k., chicken was
bland as was the hashwa, cabbage was bland and mushy. disappointed considering the price.
the other order was grape leaves which were very salty as was the humus. tabouli was good as
usual. we alternate between this middle easternrestaurantand calmilya's but will just stick
with the latter in the future.

food was bland , speciality item not available . i think if you're having a private function and you have a smallrestaurant; either close for the night or do take out only! ( as the party started venturing into the other non partying 4 tables and were very loud.)

great in every respect - food, service, atmosphere. nunu's is a gem - not only is their food superb (lentil soup to die for, absolutely rockin' hummus, and the freshest tabouli you've ever eaten!) but the service is better than any otherrestauranti have visited in okc. everyone who works there is so friendly, and you can tell their primary goal is to make you happy as a customer. thisrestaurantis seriously top notch in every respect, and i am a very happy customer that will not eat at another mediterranean place :)

the bestrestaurantin oklahoma city!

nunu's is the "gold-standard". we eat regularly out because of the long hours we work and we have found ourselves continually being hungry for food at nunu's mediterranean bistro and have returned there often. although nunu's is often busy most places that are good are usually busy, but we have found that phoning ahead to order has always speeded up the process. they have a very complete and readable to go menu and we suggest using it during mealtimes. at this point we particularly like the delicious homemade lentil soup with an assortment of fresh cut vegetable and a sublime hint of lemon for an added dimension of flavor, the large fresh cabbage rolls, the kibbe over hashwara which is made up of a mixture mildly spiced rice, bits of meat, and slivered grilled almonds. we also enjoy their grilled chicken and beef kabobs, fresh hummus and baba ganoosh served with fresh pita and crispy garlic pita chips. they also always serve freshly made salads with the freshest of ingredients and a delicious homemade dressing when we have wanted something lighter. in addition, they also have a delightful assortment of deserts, relishes, other soups, sandwiches, and foods to go. in closing, we have always found the staff to be friendly, the chef to be conscientious, therestaurantto be clean and attractive, and nunnu to be an actual live person who makes her guests feel right at home. mel and marcia

good food but rude owner. i came into therestaurantto order food to-go from nunu's "store". i waited patiently while nunu talked to a table and her son text on his phone. i was in plain view of both of them but neither spoke to me. the son walked past me several times, going back and forth to talk to people and text on his phone. after nunu finished chatting, i was surprised when she walked back to the kitchen. at this point i'd be there a good 15 minutes and was completely shocked at how rude they both were. i left therestaurantwithout ever being acknowledged or spoken to. the food is decent but apparently they could care less about taking care of their customers or selling the food.

my wife and i try every mediterraneanrestaurantwe find. my wife is from the mediterranean and grew up with the food so she is very picky when it comes to that type of food, every food really, and she ate her plate until she was full and took home leftovers. the addition of cinnamon in the rice was unexpected but good. i had the rib eye shish kabob and the steak was more tender and flavorful than 95% of the steak i have eaten in other restaurants. i need the steak knife in most restaurants but the butter knife worked fine here. the hummus had too much olive oil on top, the pitas did not seem to be made at therestaurant(no irregularities such as some parts cooked more than others, that we have seen in restaurants we know make their own), but the baba gnoush was good. we will return in about three weeks and see if everything is still good.

our newest favorite restaurant. discovering a new favoriterestauranthas been a quest for me & my wife for decades and it doesn’t happen often enough. when we find one, however, we enjoy sharing our discovery with others. we were treated to nunu’s mediterranean café & market by our son and what a pleasant surprise! nice ambiance, friendly staff and highest quality of food prepared to perfection. we consider thisrestaurantto be a special treat & we always look forward to going back.

my new favorite restaurant!. nunu's is an excellent mediterranean restaurant. everything on the menu is fantastic. the dolmas are wonderful and a must have. the outside tables are so nice on a beautiful day and the service is fantastic. i don't usually write reviews, but thisrestaurantis worth the time and effort to do so. if you haven't eaten there...get over there and try it out.
