fabulous!. if you like authentic lebanese food, then nunu's is the place! i went for my weekly "fix" last night, and it was just as fabulous as always. i grew up on lebanese food, and yet i still can't get enough! mediterranean food is known for its regional variations, but one thing is for certain…olive oil, garlic and a variety of spices are a common denominator, and nunu uses them in abundance. my favorites are the hashwa (rice, beef and spices, topped with toasted almonds), cabbage rolls, kafta, tabouli, hummusand cucumber and yogurt salad. and, the beef kabob is the best in town…the quality of her meat is unlike any other. as nunu states on her menu, she uses family recipes that have been passed down for generations…i think they would be very proud. this is as authentic as it comes

my friend and i ate there yesterday for lunch.  i ordered the veggie plate sampler and wow! it was a huge serving!  thehummuswas excellent as well as the lentil soup although it was only room temperature.  and i loved the rice with fried onions!  the only disappointment was the tabouli.  it consisted of chopped parsley and tomatoes only and that was not the taste i was accustomed to.  also i didn't care for the flavor of the veggie cabbage roll.  i will go back to eat there.  can't wait to try something different.

nunu's is the "gold-standard". we eat regularly out because of the long hours we work and we have found ourselves continually being hungry for food at nunu's mediterranean bistro and have returned there often. although nunu's is often busy most places that are good are usually busy, but we have found that phoning ahead to order has always speeded up the process. they have a very complete and readable to go menu and we suggest using it during mealtimes. at this point we particularly like the delicious homemade lentil soup with an assortment of fresh cut vegetable and a sublime hint of lemon for an added dimension of flavor, the large fresh cabbage rolls, the kibbe over hashwara which is made up of a mixture mildly spiced rice, bits of meat, and slivered grilled almonds. we also enjoy their grilled chicken and beef kabobs, freshhummusand baba ganoosh served with fresh pita and crispy garlic pita chips. they also always serve freshly made salads with the freshest of ingredients and a delicious homemade dressing when we have wanted something lighter. in addition, they also have a delightful assortment of deserts, relishes, other soups, sandwiches, and foods to go. in closing, we have always found the staff to be friendly, the chef to be conscientious, the restaurant to be clean and attractive, and nunnu to be an actual live person who makes her guests feel right at home. mel and marcia

it's okay-good. i wouldn't say no to going back, but if i were craving mediterranean food, i'd probably go somewhere else. thehummuswas tasty, the falafel was pretty good, the tabouli tasted grassy, the cabbage rolls were meh, the lentil rice was dry but had interesting flavor, and the lentil soup was amazing. the people there were amazingly friendly. if i'm up that way again, i may try their sandwiches and hopefully have a better review.

my wife and i try every mediterranean restaurant we find. my wife is from the mediterranean and grew up with the food so she is very picky when it comes to that type of food, every food really, and she ate her plate until she was full and took home leftovers. the addition of cinnamon in the rice was unexpected but good. i had the rib eye shish kabob and the steak was more tender and flavorful than 95% of the steak i have eaten in other restaurants. i need the steak knife in most restaurants but the butter knife worked fine here. thehummushad too much olive oil on top, the pitas did not seem to be made at the restaurant (no irregularities such as some parts cooked more than others, that we have seen in restaurants we know make their own), but the baba gnoush was good. we will return in about three weeks and see if everything is still good.

mediterranean home cooking!. this wonderful, little, unassuming ,mom and pop place cranks out some very authentic mediterranean food! the owners are always in the kitchen or running orders out. everything is made from scratch including the cabbage rolls and baklava which are simply delightful. it's one of my favorite lunch spots and i always pick up a tub ofhummusand baba ganoush while there, the latter of which is exceptional!

come hungry!. from the friendly welcome we received from the owner's husband to the delightful chat with the owner herself about similar restaurants in our own local area, this was one amazing place! my husband and i each ordered a falafel plate and loved every bite. the falafel patties were very generously sized, thehummuswas rich and zesty, and the tabbouleh boasted a unique mint undertone that melded delightfully with the other favors.

we are from the dfw area and came to nunu's based strictly on reviews. this place merits every positive word and we will be back!

my favorite restaurant. i am absolutely in love with nunu's. i'm lucky enough to work within walking distance, and i go at least once a week. it's nearly the only place i go when eating out at the office - and it's not just because of the proximity. this place is clean, friendly, healthy and priced well. last and certainly most, the food is outstanding. i love going on nice sunny days where i can enjoy the patio to relax and get a little extra vitamin d. if not however, the interior is warm and inviting with very nice bathrooms and decoration.

since trying nunu's, i've fallen in love with mediterranean food... but not all mediterranean restaurants are created equal. i've tried quite a few (nearly all in the okc area), and nothing compares; nunu's is #1. their sampler platters are big enough for two meals, and i'm able to take half home for the next day. when i look at it that way, i'm spending around $5.50-$6 for two fantastically healthy and tasty meals. much better than if i were to spend that money elsewhere.

lentil & rice pilaf is my favorite entrée. lentil soup, amazing.hummusis the best i've had. my favorite tabouli. beef kafta is wonderfully spiced and grilled to perfection. veggie cabbage rolls are cooked in lemon juice and they come out fresh and steaming - so delicious.

i could go on and on about how good this place is. unfortunately i'll be moving from the area soon, and i'm going to miss it terribly!

best. service. ever.. ate here tonight with my 16-year-old son and his buddy, both newbies to med food, hummusand baklava. it's not often you hear 16-year-old boys rave about service--thanks to clayton, one of the partners, for exceptional service and for taking delight in introducing the boys to something different. they loved it and can't wait to come back!
