was at nomad yesterday evening for a late dinner with a group of friends, it seemed that only 1 waitress was on duty for the tables outside, our drinks were fast but unfortunately the waitress took a while to come back for our food order(half hour later) we waited around another half hour for our food, it was tasty but for the time it wasn't really worth the wait. thanks nomad for thegoodvibe.

we came here for the bottomless ribs special and it was amazing 👍🏽 they have suchgoodfood, quite a decent cocktail menu. the vibe was great. the service was a little slow, but it wasn’t the worst thing in the world. would definitely come again 😊

i like the ambience of bomad but theur servise is seriously lacking. my table and i waited well over 40 minutes for the drinks we ordered, chicken nachos had no chicken in them and my drink order had to be changed twice because the staff did not know that they had run-out. the hot drinks we ordered were scalding, the food ice cold and the staff incredibly slow.not agoodexperience here at all.

this is a nice place to go to if you like live music and entertainment in general. it hasgoodfood, service and ambience in general. they also have great competitions on a daily basis!

finally got a chance to visit this venue. fell in love as soon as we walked in. the ambience is just so positive and inviting. the staff were very attentive to our requests, from the wine selection to the food etc. the djs that were playing that night were very awesome and made us reminisce. i would highly recommend the ribs and the falafels. it is the place to be forgoodmusic,goodfood and surrounded bygoodpeople.

spacious yet cozy atmosphere with plenty of places to sit and dine or just relax and work or have sundowners with friends while enjoying the entertainment of the night: from live bands to stand up comedy to electronic music events. fantastic service and management - friendly staff, although the waitress that helped us was new, she was very professional, accommodating and always smiling. food is really good, and as a frequent customer i want to try something new from the menu each time i visit.

went here with some work collegues. we decided to share the tapas, however there much to desired, the bunny chow were so spicy that you couldn't taste anything. the rest of the tapas weren't great either. service wasgoodthough

not overly impressed. tapas portions are rather small for the price you pay, even though they recommend you have 5 for 2 people u don't think it would be filling. the pork belly was tasty but luke warm and the small piece of crackling wasn't "fresh"

the burger though was verygoodand juicy and value for money.

i saw the nomad bistro on a show on via, dstv, called 'die kliek' . on the show the restaurant seemed to have real character. i found it very intriguing. being there myself, it was exactly like i imagined. interesting decor, lots to look at and funny quotes painted on the walls.
my boyfriend and i visited during lunch on a saturday. we sat inside, it was quiet , no shouting necessary and the service was on point. i had a flatbread, the mushrooms on it were my favorite element. my boyfriend had a burger with blue cheese that he also thoroughly enjoyed.
the manager told us about some of the events they host on week nights, e.g. live bands & comedy. sounds like the place to be when you're looking for agoodnight in the cbd.

small place with a cool pub vibe, nice rustic wooden decor and furniture. not the biggest selection of burgers to choose from, which is strange as that would probably be the most popular meal on the menu. the burgers are nice, the prices are quite abit steep though. the service isgoodand staff is really friendly :)

visited this restaurant with a hyperli voucher for one tapas each to share, but each of us ended up ordering a second tapas because everything looked amazing! the true fusion of cuisines is rare, but nomad got it very right. everything was reallygoodquality, and left me very keen to go back. the rusty, woody looking venue was lovely, and they were setting up for a comedy night which looked to be great fun. the service was great too. the staff clearly really like the place as they are all entusiatic and super willing to assist. definitely needs a re-visit!

i don't think there has been a place that i've been so hyped for....and wasn't disappointed.

highlights: burgers, cocktails, vibe - not in a particular order.

nomad currently tops my list of best burgers in cape town, they're not cheap at r95 bucks (same as dogs bollocks which is double the size) but they are suuuuuuper tasty and just made well. at nomad, you're not going to get your main meals quickly, personally, i dont mind as the cocktails come out at a blistering rate and the tapas take a right amount of time. the whole point of coming here, is too enjoy your time, get a but drunk and enjoy thegoodvibes, and i love it.

the cocktails are awesome!! i've tried about 8 of them and i've enjoyed every single one, guys, don't be afraid to try the pink drinks, cuz they hella good. my favourite has got to be the down under with kiwi, words cannot describe.

the vibe, awesome, only really picks up later in the night when the music starts pumping. i've been to both the band night and the dj night and i really had agoodtime on both experiences.

the only reason i haven't given 5/5 was my experience with one waiter. the first 2 times i had an amazing waitress who knew everything on the menu and could actually help me decide which cocktails and burgers to try. the second waiter however, knew nothing on the menu and just kept showing me the description on the menu. his service was great in that we never waited for anything, but he did just lack that extra spark i was exposed to by the other waitress.

i had nomad bistro fusion on my list for quite some time, so i was thrilled to receive an invitation to a foodie meetup there -my first since returning to the mother city!

cocktails are my usually my drink of choice -and i was seriously impressed with the variety of original unique cocktails on offer. i started off with their 'down under'; kiwi and ginger in the same glass -yes please! it was probably my favourite out of them all. not far behind from the number 1 spot, were the 'madagascar madness' , with flavours of peach and mango, and the 'london strawberry kiss' which is super sweet -but in agoodway that keeps you wanting more!

now, before we talk about the food, we need to talk about the adult popsicles. hand-made on site and served in a glass of wine, it's such a treat! i had the red wine popsicle that is generously spiced with cinnamon - it's gluehwein for summer!

while we sipped our cocktails, we were treated to a variety of their tapas. all were good, but the real winner here has to be the mushroom risotto - not recommended for sharing though; you're definitely going to want your own portion!

for mains i ordered the twisted american burger, but gabriel stein and i mixed up our plates so i landed up with the amsterdam slam - and neither of us were even mad as the burgers were cooked so perfectly! however, the onion jam was a bit too acidic for me personally. i also felt that the chips could have been a bit more crispy, but they were coated in a great seasoning salt which made them memorable.

the interior is beautifully designed, with a lovely mural on the wall. there is a stage there too, and i believe they host some great live acts.i will definitely be back -what a lovely place for drinks and tapas! thanks to james hobbs at zomato for organizing such a great, relaxed evening. #zomatoxnomad
