had the veggie burger and chips for lunch here and was quite underwhelmed. the burger patty was constructed with 3 "falafel" balls. definitely not traditional falafels as i know it. was not a fan of the cheese either (when they say smothered - they mean smothered in cheese). the mayo on the burger however was very nice - dipped my crispy chippies in it.

update: returned, this time around for a plain beef burger with fries. upping my score by 0.5 - not the best beef burger, but not half bad either. the patty tastes like it's made from pure tenderized steak, so that's somewhat of a positive (i personally prefer patties made from a more marbled cut of meat).

got a free complimentary ticket to their comedy evening. yay! i love freebies.

the food however still has not wowed me, so i doubt i'll be back.

great atmosphere, good entertainment, friendly staff, tasty food.

spacious yet cozy atmosphere with plenty of places to sit and dine or just relax and work or have sundowners with friends while enjoying the entertainment of the night: from live bands to stand up comedy to electronic music events. fantastic service and management - friendly staff, although the waitress that helped us was new, she was very professional, accommodating and always smiling. food is really good, and as a frequent customer i want to try something new from the menu each time i visit.

fun spot, great people, comfy setting. the wooden cladding on the walls make it a warm and welcoming spot. food and drink is great too and great variety of entertainment

nomad is a cosy spot and a great place to hang out with friends nd listen to live music .i enjoyed it. i will definitely go back there again.

perhaps one of the best live music venues with tapas, cocktails. their comedy nights are also fun! had an overall great experience with food and entertainment, friendly staff. :)

i love the atmosphere at nomad. the owner, mohit, is quite friendly and will pop by to see if you're enjoying your meal. their risotto and various other tapas are to die for but what keeps me coming back is the spiced chai shake ❤❤

i love that they're doing various events such.as comedy nights, classic cult film nights etc. it keeps the place vibey and sometimes gives me serious fomo

went as you guys opened and honestly didn't expect the epic stuff served on my plate then again and again and again with family and friends .. great owner and friendly staff!! just needs more people through the door for an ambiance and it will be a banger for sure🔥🙏🏻

nomad bistro fusion is the place to be for fine dining and just plain partying. i love the cocktails, the bartenders gave out such friendly customer service and the live music is amazing. you haven't experienced cape town if you didn't check out nomad bistro fusion. i highly recommend nomad bistro fusion for a whale of a time.

went here with some work collegues. we decided to share the tapas, however there much to desired, the bunny chow were so spicy that you couldn't taste anything. the rest of the tapas weren't great either. service was good though

has an amazing atmosphere, amazing food and fantastic service. i love their chai shake😊. i always enjoy every visit to this great cape town gem.

not overly impressed. tapas portions are rather small for the price you pay, even though they recommend you have 5 for 2 people u don't think it would be filling. the pork belly was tasty but luke warm and the small piece of crackling wasn't "fresh"

the burger though was very good and juicy and value for money.

very bad. food is just edible or not very nice. key example: their flat breads are wraps with cheese on them - cheap yellow cheese. if you were thinking this was worth a try, think again.

heard it's a lovely place with chilled vibes...amazing atmosphere...fantastic meals and really awesome entertainment...haven't been yet! but can't wait to go check it out!

we went to nomad on a saturday evening. it was relatively empty but not in an off putting way. we chose to sit inside however it proved slight problematic as the lighting was very poor for a dinner setting, had we just come for drinks it would not have been an issue but while we were eating it proved slightly problematic.

the staff were incredibly friendly and quick. the decor is really cool and as a bistro i think it's great. it is probably a lot better during the day for a sit down meal.

the food is absolutely incredible and definitely value for money.

overall it's a nice, relaxed spot in the ever busy cbd. if you are just headed for drinks evenings are frat however if you're considering food perhaps sitting outside in the evening is a better choice or just come in the day.

i saw the nomad bistro on a show on via, dstv, called 'die kliek' . on the show the restaurant seemed to have real character. i found it very intriguing. being there myself, it was exactly like i imagined. interesting decor, lots to look at and funny quotes painted on the walls.
my boyfriend and i visited during lunch on a saturday. we sat inside, it was quiet , no shouting necessary and the service was on point. i had a flatbread, the mushrooms on it were my favorite element. my boyfriend had a burger with blue cheese that he also thoroughly enjoyed.
the manager told us about some of the events they host on week nights, e.g. live bands & comedy. sounds like the place to be when you're looking for a good night in the cbd.
