worst service ever. the waitress kept on filling up our glasses even though we didn't ask for more drinks . our portions of ribs smaller and smaller.

after being referred to by friends, i was very disappointed with my experience here. firstly they forgot about my booking or did not record it, the service was very poor - i had to stand up several time to look for someone to tend to my table and the whole point of an 'all you can eat' is to get your top ups quickly - we had to wait over 40 minutes at times to get ours. very dissapointing.

was invited out for a comedy evening wich was absolutely amazing top notch comedians great service and awesome food. a defenate must do for your stay in cape town

we came here for the bottomless ribs special and it was amazing 👍🏽 they have such good food, quite a decent cocktail menu. the vibe was great. the service was a little slow, but it wasn’t the worst thing in the world. would definitely come again 😊

nomad is such an amazing place . the staff are beyond friendly and the food is amazing . one of the staff members explained the specials to us and made everything as clear as possible with a great smile on his face . the ribs takes me back to home . the wings are nice and spicy ! probably the best wings by far . this place is definitely one for the books .

the two stars is for the staff at least attempting to be friendly, and the ribs being fully cooked. everything else was horrible. the food was cold, the recipe for their wings is tasteless but full of texture. it was bottomless ribs night, and i eat, but i couldn't go past plate number 2. the wings were too much.

second time i've been here and it was lovely. love love love the ambiance. the food was good- nothing great and nothing too average.
had the ribs, wings, calamari and arancini tapas. the ribs had a lekker sweet bbq flavour, wings were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
the calamari was okay, not a fan of the hot sauce served with it. i am more of tartar sauce gal 😉
i was quite disappointed with the arancini balls..had little flavour and the risotto could have been made better 😢

service was good. waiter was gracious and helpful!
lastly, the table was so small and it was really crappy/uncomfortable for 4 people to dine at 👎😢

been here a few times, even when the place is packed the vibe is good.

the bombay chilli burger could be spicier but i guess catering to all tastes it's passable.

the nachos could do with more sour cream and avo, but overall it's ok as a snack or starter.

the bombay flat bread was bland but i enjoyed the onion on it lol 😂

not the place to expect your tastebuds to be blown away but for drinks and local entertainment 10/10

nb: please keep your belongings with you or ask someone to watch your table. on one visit, we witnessed a couple enter the establishment, apprach a table where guests had left their bags on the table to go smoke. then accuse us of being racist when we pointed out the table was taken. when the guests returned the couple left and threatened us outside, telling us to "let people do what they do, else we'll get hurt".

i never had such a disappointed and disgusting experience at a restaurant. food and service was a disgusting, no time management at all. perfect location and vibe, but when it comes to the service, food and drinks no class, etiquette, sophistication and zero hospitality education. the set up and bar was a complete mess, hygiene is not up to standard at all. and to top it all, some of the staff behind the bar was drunk and helping themselves to a drink while i was waiting for my order.

awesome vibe awesome ribs will definitely be back.
really enjoyed the vibe and top service received from waiter. chicken wings was excellent aswell

very dissapointed in my experience at nomad bistro. i went with a group of my friends and we ordered nachos and drinks. the nachos we got were extremely bland as they lacked cheese and salsa- it was basically a plate of chips. the drinks were extremely weak. the g&t's tasted only of tonic and the cocktails tasted of the syrup that was added. the only saving grace was the atmosphere of the restaurant.

we booked for a group of 15 people for the bottomless rib and wing special. when we got there, they had given our table to the wrong people and we got placed at a table for 10 so some of us sat in a completely different part of the restaurant. it took an hour for them to serve us our first plate and the wings were cold and oily. when the ribs eventually came, it was a mixture of bare bones and off cuts for the most part. and a 25% surcharge was automatically included in our bill. will not be visiting again.

came for a company lunch, 10 of us. tapas was small but tough. long delays in service, even the restaurant was relatively quiet.
i had the "bottomless ribs" got 3 puny ribs and soggy i&j packet chips. after 30 mins after ordering the refill ribs i got 6 this time and tasted better. it was an ok experience wouldn't go back though!

went there for ribs but towards our departing time saw a massive rat ;funny part was when i informed the waiter his answer was that the rats are all over cape town not a answer i was expecting anyway will never go back there

they hosted a comedy show which was very interactive and a fun experience. i would recommend getting a platter if you just want to nibble on something small with a few drinks! great experience, especially if you bring some friends with.
