nick's san clemente

used to be great. great homemade ranch dressing. was awesome 2 years ago but food quality has gone down alot.waittimes are longer than you should have towaitfor this one

not as impressed as i hoped. i came to nick's san clemente last night sure this would be a favorite. the place is highly recommended and looks so inviting.

i ordered the bone-in ribeye with roasted vegetables. the steak was a nice portion size but was sadly under seasoned. texture wise it felt like it was from frozen, and not fresh cut. the roasted vegetables were dark, bitter and way overcooked.waitstaff was friendly and attentive.

others in my party made a better choice than i did with the grilled mahi-mahi. each finished their dinner and really enjoyed it.

i'd try this place again, but would opt not to order the beef.

nick's is my favorite restaurant. this is my favorite restaurant on earth, my wife and i have been fans of the laguna beach restaurant since it opened.

make a reservation on weekends if you don't want towaitand hour or more, they are busy!!

i don't care about thewait- bring it on, i'll be at the bar enjoying an ice cold stella on draft.

all i want is to get my hands on some of those ribs. those ribs are the best ribs i have ever had in my life. i have made so many people try these ribs and have turned them all into believers! oh everything else on the menu is also awesome (ie. asparagus fries, veggie burger).

my only suggestion is if you're offered sides get these sides, they rock.
1) warm potato salad
2) mac and cheese
3) coleslaw

they don't post the calories on the menu - which i am sure are astronomical) but who cares, i only care about the food.

trust me, it's in your best interest to check this place out.

my friends loved it!. have not gone here yet, but my good friends said it was good eating, but a bit noisy. drove past it last night at 10pm and it was still crowded!!!
can'twaitto try it!
