visting friends in havelock north for the long weekend we went to namaskar last saturday night. first impressions, very nicedecorand layout and the place was full with people waiting for tables, a good sign. thank goodness we had booked. top marks to the waitress who heard us saying how indian restaurants offer keema naan but not a keema curry, one of our favourites. she said she would ask the chef if he would do one for us, came back with an instant yes! so we were sold! mixed vege entree yummy and plenty of it. all the curries came out as ordered and the helpings plentiful.....a great dining experience and wonderful authentic food. the manager came over and had a chat and was very friendly and pleasant to talk with. thanks for going the extra mile to make us the keema curry
