nakli dhaba - mayfair lagoon

i have ordered tandoor ke phool and as per your menu it is made up of brocoli but i got cauliflower in my parcel. no one from your side has informed me about this while collecting the parcel from yourrestauranton 29th may 2020. i came all the way from cuttack to collect it with all other orders. i am really disappointed with behavior.

the biriyani itself is named as luxurious food. it is supposed to be cooked with ghee which makes it biriyani. ordering from such bigrestauranti at least expected the justice to the biriyani. but it felt like as if i am eating chicken fried rice. i expect more next time.

just wow and awesome. food, service, ambiance, overall dining experience. all the parameters on which a particularrestaurantcan be judged and marked are superbly and terrifically scored by nakli dhaba at mayfair lagoon, at jaydev vihar, bhubaneswar. 

interiors and decor is so well made, that the moment you set afoot in the nakli dhaba mayfair lagoon, at jaydev vihar, bhubaneswar you will just fall in love with it. go give it a try, and trust me.. because it is a foodie's promise. you will not be disappointed. 

i will wrap up review of nakli dhaba, at jaydev vihar, bhubaneswar, odisha at 5.0/5. anything less than 5.0 will be injustice and insult to the food, service, ambiance, overall dining experience

this place is a must visit if you are in bhubaneshwar! the food here is amazing. the ambience is well setup with punjabi feel of dhaba and bollywood.. they have familyrestaurantspace as well as isolated door locked ac dine tables separately. the live music is definitely a winner for entertainment..
it was my first time in bhubaneshwar and i explored this place through hotel booking recommendations and i discovered that it has several restaurants within, this being gone of them. i couldn't get the booking for staying at mayfair however we were certain that we would try atleast one of the restaurants. lucky to have tried this nakli dhaba having asli maza!
the staff is very polite, courteous and you will feel satisfied for sure.
a big thank you to team mayfair!! i strongly recommend this place to the ones who love punjabi food - veg/non veg both!

undoubtedly food quality and taste is awesome here. staff behaviour is also very nice.. though price is a bit high while considering the ambience. it could have been better. also, my earnest request to therestaurantauthority is to improve the quality of live music.

rating 3stars for the ambience and the service of the waiters.. we had ordered kolkata style mutton biryani nd a whole large chckn marinated in cashew nut the mutton biryani was so bland lack of spices and mutton didn't had a smell of itself it was very bland nd tasteless..raita was good..nd the other chckn dish was so much marinated with heavy cream nd cashew it was very rich tasted average..... thisrestaurantis only overhyped for its location ..

overhypedrestaurantwith below average food . surplus oily food , feels like you are having food at some road side dhaba . here i would rate even the road side dhabas better than this 5 star hotel . the only positive thing is the live music which is saving the entire business .

indeed nakli, the walkway to therestaurantfrom the reception is atrocious passing through service lanes. at the first instance it’s like wtf??

the 3*s is only for the food which was great and the welcome drink which is a great cooler specially for people like me who just landed at bhubaneshwar driving down 400kms from kolkata.

service is just not like the hype the hotel carries with it. haven’t got a chance to interact with the others but the waiters can’t speak english or for that matter hindi properly. realised that the people who came into dine in were also the residents of the city and they spoke in the local language with the waiters. the staff are too loud with the cabinets and cutlery. really unprofessional!!

this one is for the hotel - “ except for the fragrance and silence at the reception “; this place is not worth it, worth the price tag of the rooms (haven’t seen so no view on the quality of the rooms) and the following that it carries. sorry to say but am amused how it’s rated so high and perceived luxurious by tourists.

just an averagerestaurantwith average service which is over hyped n over priced (value for money w.r.t. quantity) . harabhara kabab disappointed. baked rosgola was awesome.

as the name screams itself, it's a dhaba stylerestaurantby the premium chain of mayfair hotels. the interior is nicely decorated and the private cabins in there would perfectly suit your family dinners. the desi dishes are definitely worth giving a try. i tried tawa prawn, mati handi mutton and both were good with the soft naan to accompany it. masala vodka here is amazing in case you are up for a drink! ;)

we went to this place to celebrate my dad's birthday.for starters we ordered aatish alu ,tandoori veg platter and some beer.the quality and taste of the food served was very average and did not meetmy expectations.for the main course we ordered dal peshawari and paneer tikka butter masala along with assorted breads. the breads were ok ,paneer was really of poor quality and dal tasted stale. they need some serious improvements in their culinary skills.

the manager and therestaurantstaff are amazing and the musical setup added the right flavours to the evening.

it's really a nice place to bring your family and spend some quality time with each other. the concept of therestaurantis nice. it gives you all the feels that you'll get at a real dhaba. location is good. ambience is good too. staff people were nice too. only thing that bothered me is the price. price is bit high but quality of the food is very nice. visiting once or twice in year is ok. but yes, if the the price gets reduced, then definitely it will become the must visitingrestaurantof bhubaneswar. talking about the food, taste is good but yes, they served me food that was quite warm tbh. that should be avoided. the only thing i liked infact loved the most was the lassi. i've seen lots of reviews saying that they serve you too late but i personally didn't find that. infact they served me on time which i really liked.
overall a nicerestaurantwhich won't really disappoint you. :)

and it was a disappointment.
from arestaurantof that luxury we deserve atleast some courteous attendants, wearing nice uniform doesn't mean it at all.
the ghol (butter milk) we picked as complementary was nice to start with . but then the soup was horrible. mutton biryani was nice but truly speaking none of the item was at par with the price. if you are running arestaurantof the standard both your taste and hospitality should be nice only interior and uniform will never compensate it.

undoubtedly the bestrestaurantin bbsr were you can have an exotic sense of north indian typical dhaba cuisine in a fine dining way . tempting food, courteous stewards and soothing background melodious songs of lata ji & other fantastic classic, antique collections. what else one wish better than this......

probably the best north indian typerestaurantin town. mutton biryani tastes like heaven. go for butter chicken. tandoori pomphret is the signature dish. fine dining and great ambience. excellent service. go for it if you're finding authentic north indian in bhubaneswar. :")
