nakli dhaba - mayfair lagoon

my all time favourite place in bhubaneshwar. great fine dining experience and exquisite ambience with mouthwatering dishes on menu (mostly indian). i loved the starter i.e prawn kudkudi, in main course we had balti mutton (very homely)chickentikka lababdar and butter naan. lastly for deserts we had kulfi with faluda.

portions were of good size. but i had specified non spicy but soya roll was very spicy. chickenlebanese roll was very dry n just plain cooked chicken, no taste. panner roll n baked rasagullas were yummy!

the biriyani itself is named as luxurious food. it is supposed to be cooked with ghee which makes it biriyani. ordering from such big restaurant i at least expected the justice to the biriyani. but it felt like as if i am eatingchickenfried rice. i expect more next time.

in relationship with biriyani had made me explore more and more throughout the city.

service- being "famous" must have a feel of "reason" in it's background otherwise it has nothing to showoff. i alway look forward to that reason when comes to had a brunch at such famous high end places. this is ofcourse one of the famous high-end resort of odisha. it has many outlets for different kind of foods and bakery. today i preferred to share u their multi cuisine authentic indian outlet. here i have opted to try their choice of dishes which they are famous for. and guess what i feel extremely happy to had such great quality and quality dishes to try out. biriyani itself had all it's pleasure with all the ingredients which we can found in very close to kolkata style biriyani. all the spices are coming out very elegantly. mutton is fresh and well cooked and the quantity served is more than enough for two people. same goes for the #tandoorimurg the consistency and the flavour of spices well mixed widchickenjust makes me mouthwatering by look only. further u can assume the taste of blend wid soft buttery nan. just clean bold.

starting withchickentandoori,it was tender and juicy just loved the flavour, then the bharwa aloo which had the cashew stuffing in it a veg must try dish!! and lastly chocolava cake .it wasnt much satisfying due to the thick cake covering..i expected it to be little soft .overall experience was good will give it a 4/5😀

mayfair is a brand but not when it comes to delievry. very low quality packaging, i ordered butterchickenand am served masala chicken. too oily as you can see in the picture and the portion size for the price is abysmal. don’t order if you don’t have contact at the resturant to call and request to prepare the food well. very bad experience.

staff was friendly and helpful enough to change the bharwachickendish which was undercooked.

nice ambience. great food. each and every item was so delicious. the paneer was so good and soft. loved thechickenstarters. afghanichickenwas too good. had the best butter garlic naan and cookie milkshake here. the aroma was heavenly. just one complaint that they didn't have good options for lassi. a great place with family.

went there for dinner with my wife. this is a beautiful cosy place with dining area meant for all kinds of customers. they have beautiful interiors done , even at the outdoor seating area. we ordered for achickenbiryani initially and the taste was so good that we ended up ordering another mutton biryani. raita was awesome too. will love to visit again.

if you are looking for north indian foods, this is the place to be. located in the outer area of mayfair lagoon.

we were a group of 8 people. so we came here with a prior reservation. otherwise it's very difficult to get a table on weekends. food was super awesome. we started with tomato djania shorba, which has a distinct flavour and in starter we ordered 5 starters. tandoori prawns were juicy and perfectly made in clay oven. we also ordered mushroom kebab, kali mirch ka paneer tikka, tangri kebab. all were superb in taste. vinegar onions are perfect accompaniment with starters. in main course we orderedchickenbiryani, pulao, kadhai paneer andchickentikka masala.

a full meal is incomplete without a dessert. we ordered baked gur rasgulla and kulfi with falooda. baked rasgullas were something extra ordinary and you will only get this here.

staffs are very polite and courteous. ambience is kind of dhaba themed. they have separate cabins in courtyard area. there you can enjoy your food with live ghazal.

one of the best north indian food in a dhaba themed fine dining place. located in the prime location of bhubaneswar inside a 5 star hotel.

food was super awesome. we started with paya da shorba, which has a distinct flavour and in starter we had rozali kebab and tandoori prawns. prawns were juicy and perfectly made in clay oven. vinegar onions are perfect accompaniment with starters. in main course we ordered kashmiri naan, garlic butter naan andchickentikka masala. the best ever tikka masala i had.

a full meal is incomplete without a dessert. we ordered baked gur rasgulla and kulfi with falooda. baked rasgullas were something extra ordinary. spongy rasgullas soaked in jaggery and milk mixture and oven baked. their kulfi was home made and we really had a great time.

staffs are very polite and courteous. ambience is kind of dhaba themed. hens are grazing, a petrol pump, half truck, milestone and traffic signal, national highway which makes this place a dhaba theme. they have every day live ghazal programme which is a best combination with your food. i will recommend this place is a must try.

its all hyped. the taste really needs to match up the other factors (ambience and hospitality was great).chickenhad no flavor, felt like the spices were all poured into and mixed. dal was good, could have been better.

i went to this place for lunch because i had a very good expectations, as hotel was a very good rated and it was one of my dream to have food here, but the food quality was very poor. it felt like some day old food and we had veg khichdi andchickenbiriyani those are also tasteless. ambience was poor. food portion was below average.

went for a business lunch and it met our expectation . ambience , food and service were good and we enjoyed our meal .

the servers and chef kept coming in to ask if anything more they could do which my friends and i appreciate .

lamb , mutton , dal makhani andchickenwas what we ordered with a garlic naan portion and it lived upto our expectation .
