awesome food at both the restaurant and the bistro, the overall atmosphere was fantastic, and the view was absolutely amazing! the only thing that let this place down was slow service in the bistro, aside from that it's definitely worth a go so if you are planning on visiting waiheke island!

i really love this vineyard, not only for the wine but also because of the service. when we sat outside table, it's cold but the scenery is awesome! the clerks afford us the woolen blanket and with big smile, make us feel cozy and warm. the food tastes great, i do recommend this place!

wow!!! what a stunning place something i would recommend to anyone travelling to auckland. the restaurant is absolutely incredible. the prawn entree with a banana flavour through it was a 10. the flavours just worked so well together. eye fillet with the smokey jus was a spectacular cut of beef and the cheese platter for desert was also amazing. kirsten our waitress was fantastic all day and explained in detail what our food was when served which was needed due to the complexity. don't even get me started on the mudbrick pinot noir, could have drank 10 bottles of the stuff. such a great experience

what a stunning location. we walked here from the ferry terminal which was a breeze. the view from here is of some of the island, rangitoto and the city, the restaurant has a very long frontage which means lots of primo seating for optimum views. we came for wine and cheese which did not disappoint. there was a selection of 6 cheese to chose four from, two from puhoi and four french. we ended up getting the "cheesecake" dessert which with every spoonful was bursting flavour. service was exceptional, i didn't catch our waitresses name but a lovely english lass who was very knowledgable and kind. would definitely recommend mud brick as a waiheke must do.

my sister came over from australia so i thought i would take her over to waiheke and make a day out of it. (any excuse to get pissed right?) after exploring the island and the wine tastings and platters at the other vineyards we pasted on our way. i am confident that mud brick won my heart. this place has so much beautiful character to it, in itself the view is beautiful and the service was great. the staff were so knowledgeable about the wines which was really intriguing, compared to the other places we went that day where they just wanted you in and out of their way. after indulging in many wine tastings, we decided to order a cheese and antipasto platter and can happily say out of all of the platters we had that day (which would be the fourth) this was actually the nicest and the cheapest platters we received all day! you know what they say, leave the best to last. wouldn't waste my time going anywhere else now i have been here!

visited mudbrick last december.

has a really nice set up with stunning views across the ocean to rangitoto and auckland

food is really good and the bar staff really know how to make cocktails professionally.

portion sizes are smaller as expected but the taste is amazing.

would definitely visit again and recommend a visit for a special occasion

the setting is five star. the food is tasty and definately generous servings, but not gastronomically astounding. price is about right. would have got 4 to 4.5 except the wait for food was way over long - almost an hour. there didn't appear to be a maitre di on the floor keeping charge of events and keeping things moving and presumably the kitchen just weren't getting their sh1t together.

the location was great. located in a vineyard and next to tasting room, it was a great experience. i had the duck for entree and angus beef eye fillet for main. it looked and tasted really good.

i have dined at mudbrick twice last summer and both times have been really lovely and enjoyable.  the location is absolutely beautiful and i believe what makes this place extra special is the restaurants french sliding doors opening up on the amazing ocean view.  the food is amazing with lots of flavour components that burst in your mouth and of course mudbrick's sav (one of my favourites) topped it all off nicely.  i am excited to come back here next summer for another perfect day of wineing and dining :)

🍃great place to visit when you are in waiheke. 🍃
is a very popular vineyard and restaurant. we went for lunch in a saturday they didn't have space in the restaurant unfurtunately as they had a function or something. so we decided to stay in the courtyard. everything is beautiful there... great auckland city views and vineyards. we ate a platter and drunk some good wines. the only thing that was disappointed was the service. i expected that for be one of the most respected restaurants in waiheke they were really good at customer service but maybe because we were in the courtyard and no in the restaurant the service wasn't spotless. the waitress took our order after we looked for her, bring the wines and food and then dissappear. so we decide to go for dessert somewhere else. food and drinks where fine. good space to walk around.
mommy friendly :? yes. plenty of space.

my partner treated me to an incredible degustation lunch at mudbrick vineyard and restaurant for valentine’s day. it is located in the most beautiful location and has million dollar views. it is an incredibly romantic place.

everything on the menu looks incredible - it is a foodie’s paradise. the degustation was $120 per person and it was definitely worth every cent. my two favourite dishes from the degustation menu were the fiddlers hill goats cheese icecream and the first class lamb lion. the goats cheese icecream had such a unique taste and the lamb melted in my mouth. if you love goats cheese then you will really love the degustation as a lot of the courses have goats cheese incorporated into them.

the atmosphere is to die for and the service is of such a high standard - i definitely felt like a princess dining there.

if you want to treat someone special, take them to mudbrick vineyard. it is an absolute must visit.
