m's pub

one of omaha's best. i have to admit right off the bat that i've only ever ordered one entree at m's: theomahalavosh. but if you knew how many times i'd been there, you'd know what a recommendation that is.

the service isn't always the fastest, but then i've never been there when the place wasn't packed, so that's probably more of a cause-and-effect than an actual problem. the atmosphere is great and the menu is extensive and has lots of things to offer...if i ever decide to order anything else, that is.

this historic land mark, dining facility should not be missed. like a phoenix from the ashes, this belovedomahahistoric eatery is here to stay. with one of the best ruebin sandwiches in all of omaha, and friendly service staff, this place is a huge hit with both locals and travelers alike. the pricing is very fair which makes it a great place to stop in for lunch.

one of omaha's best. delightful, charming place. the food is very good (hamburger, lamburger, lavosh, cucumber sandwiches :) ). great place for family get togethers. it is a restaurant i recommend to out of towners for a great meal, a fun atmosphere and and a historicomahalocation. m's was one of the original old market tenants...it"s longevity speaks to the quality.

we come to aboutomahaonce a year and m's pub has become a favorite spot of ours. the ambiance, staff, menu and food quality are fantastic! this last trip, we actually decided to eat there twice--delicious!

great fine dining at good prices. i got as an appetizer the original lavosh with green onions. this was very very good. i drank a few guinnesses with the meal. i had the italian sandwich with cappocola and came with marinara sauce for dipping. it came with a salad with a vinagarette dressing of some sort. the dressing was surprisingly good. the sandwich was extremely good. this restaurant is not in my area ofomahabut i will definitely come back. service was also great. the waiter constantly came back to make sure all was in order.

favorite place in omaha. lived inomahafor over 7 years and this is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. we do monthly sales trainings with out of town guests for work, and almost always make one dinner at m's part of the agenda. their thai chicken lavosh is amazing, great satays, good wine selection and outstanding desserts (their creme brulee and flourless fudge torte with strawberry sauce are my favorites - yum!) defintely not a roomie place, so make reservations and expect to talk a bit louder over the din, but well worth it.

consistent excellence. i have visitedomahain every year since 1974 and have eaten at m's every visit. it remains the consistently excellent pub that i have loved and introduced my friends to, all these years.

don't know how ann mellon pulls it off, but she runs a great ship.

...i wanted to take my wife out to dinner at a restaurant that embodies omaha. a place that has been a mainstay inomahafor several years, a guaranteed "slam-dunk". as usual, i initiated a grueling internet research session to find the ideal place. after finding out that my first choice was completely booked i had to find someplace else. my second choice was m's pub located downtown at 422 s. 11th street in the old market of omaha, nebraska, which has always intrigued me. first of all my wife, born and reared in omaha, had never been to m's pub before. so i thought it would be perfect for both of us to experience m's pub for the first time. another reason to choose m's was because i have some close friends and family that always go to m's and say a lot of favorable things about their experiences there. i also was drawn to m's because in the past we have naively tried to walk in and get a table on a saturday night only to hear the "it will be an hour wait" s

good variety menu. i've lived inomahafor quite sometime and i've lived in the downtown area for about 5 years now. i would have to say m's is in my top 3 list of places to go when i just can't decide what i want to eat. their menu is always price friendly, depending on what you are up for. they have their standard menu with sandwichs, salads, lavashs, etc...all under around or below 10 dollars and then they have their special menu which seems to change every few weeks. they always have some unique offerings on this menu which include meats, fish and poultry and the price point seems to range between 16-30 dollars. i'd have to say if you can't decide on what your craving....m's is a great option.

anomahaclassic. one of omaha's 10 best restaurants. my favorite atmosphere of anyomaharestaurant. a very eclectic menu of very good food...all the way from sandwiches to lobster. reasonable prices add to m's charm. sometimes the wait staff takes themselves a little too seriously. this is omaha, after all, not nyc.

can you say... snotty!. ok, i get the fact that this restaurant has some history inomahabut that does not give the staff the right to act the way they do. i won't be back!

m's pub is one of a kind. i love m's pub. its a greatomaharestaurant.
