m's pub

one of omaha's best. i have to admit right off the bat that i've only ever ordered one entree at m's: the omaha lavosh. but if you knew how many times i'd been there, you'd know what a recommendation that is.

the service isn't always the fastest, but then i've never been there when the place wasn't packed, so that's probably more of a cause-and-effect than an actual problem. the atmosphere is great and themenuis extensive and has lots of things to offer...if i ever decide to order anything else, that is.

great menu, ambiance and service! the lamb satay and shrimp bake entrees were delish! bloody mary’s had just enough spice and there is a well roundedmenuof wine and beer.

disappointing. themenuis too broad and the food is mediocre.

always great. you just have to love m's.

if you want a drink and a quick meal, you can get a sandwich or a salad for 10 bucks. if you want to have a fancy dinner, you can easily spend $100 per person going through the courses and specials. themenuhas something for everyone.

i don't think i have had a bad meal in nearly 20 years of going there. the lamb burger is my choice for a death row last meal. i love the lavosh options, and now you can custom order one with or without you selected toppings.

if you want a great night out, go to m's.

we come to about omaha once a year and m's pub has become a favorite spot of ours. the ambiance, staff,menuand food quality are fantastic! this last trip, we actually decided to eat there twice--delicious!

amazing! first time to savor gluten free lettuce wraps!!!! they were devine! the escolar was also great! buttery flaky fish prepared to perfection! the broccolini was a wonderful and delightful surprise! funmenuand great quality!

cool place, great food. themenuis rather eclectic, with a little international flair, and offers something for everyone. m's lahvosh (more or less a flat bread pizza) has gotten a lot of praise in these reviews and rightly so. they're all good, especially the thai, with its nice blend of sweet and salty elements. the baked shrimp scampi, which comes swimming in a decadent mix of havarti and butter, is not to be missed as well. i was a little disappointed on my latest visit with the lamb satay (overcooked and dry lamb), but have never been letdown by the rotating list of specials.
service has been decidedly mixed--the staff can be off-putting and snobby or welcoming and professional. prices are wide ranging (less than $10 for sandwiches to over $30 for some of the dinner specials) and seem quite fair for the quality of the dishes.
m's is more upscale than the pub name might imply and would work well for most dining occasions. the ambiance is cool without trying too hard--mixing old market charm and big city sophistication.
overall, m's is one of omaha's best.

best of the old market. i recommend this place to everyone that is coming to town. on the weekend or at lunch, this place can take awhile to get a table as it is fairly small and usually busy. their food is delicious. they have several interesting items on themenusuch as the carrot dog, but overall there is something for everyone. the waitstaff and bartenders are generally very knowledgable and attentive. try the lavosh (especially the thai). it is far and away my favorite item on the menu. good value for the price as well.

much love for m's. m's is one of my favorites in town. i've actually never found anything i dislike about it - well, except maybe for the fact that at times it can be hard to get a table, especially one of my preferred ones in the front windows or on the patio!

it definitely leans to the more upscale bistro/brasserie side rather than the common conception of "pub" - but one would feel comfortable there in anything from dressy clothes to nice jeans.

all the food i have tried here has been excellent, and you can go on the cheaper side with much of their mainmenu(i particularly love their baked appetizer escargot or mushrooms, their yummy lahvosh - especially the thai, and their satays) or more expensive with their changing dinner special menu. everything i have tried from the dinner specialmenuhas been wonderful, although quite a bit more expensive than most of their regular menu. if you are in the mood for a decadent dessert, try their sour cream pound cake with rum glaze...it's absolutely divine.

i've always had good service here, the ambiance is lovely (exposed brick, candles), they have a great wine list, and to top it all off for us night owls, they serve food until midnight (11 on sundays) - a definite rarity in omaha!

good variety menu. i've lived in omaha for quite sometime and i've lived in the downtown area for about 5 years now. i would have to say m's is in my top 3 list of places to go when i just can't decide what i want to eat. theirmenuis always price friendly, depending on what you are up for. they have their standardmenuwith sandwichs, salads, lavashs, etc...all under around or below 10 dollars and then they have their specialmenuwhich seems to change every few weeks. they always have some unique offerings on thismenuwhich include meats, fish and poultry and the price point seems to range between 16-30 dollars. i'd have to say if you can't decide on what your craving....m's is a great option.

the food was pretty tasty... but, it felt slighty overpriced and our service wasn't good at all. but, the was lots of variety on themenuand i saw other waitstaff doing a good job... so, it must have been just our waitress. everything was cooked to perfection, as well. you just get so little food for your money. i paid almost $10 for a cup of rice and a small chicken breast with a side of plain lettuce and dressing.

an omaha classic. one of omaha's 10 best restaurants. my favorite atmosphere of any omaha restaurant. a very eclecticmenuof very good food...all the way from sandwiches to lobster. reasonable prices add to m's charm. sometimes the wait staff takes themselves a little too seriously. this is omaha, after all, not nyc.
