outstanding!. i took my 3 associates here based on the urbanspoon ratings alone and we were not disappointed. everyone raved at the various selections we chose. the service was impeccable. a very rich experience overall.

great food but the service is the worst! the people there are so rude and condescending .

one of omaha's best. i have to admit right off the bat that i've only ever ordered one entree at m's: the omaha lavosh. but if you knew how many times i'd been there, you'd know what a recommendation that is.

the service isn't always the fastest, but then i've never been there when the place wasn't packed, so that's probably more of a cause-and-effect than an actual problem. the atmosphere is great and the menu is extensive and has lots of things to offer...if i ever decide to order anything else, that is.

met my brother for lunch here one busy afternoon. there was a lot of hype about this place so maybe my expectations were high, but i wasn’t impressed. the food, atmosphere, and service were alright but for the price i could certainly do better. might be worth giving them another chance.

gluten free friendly, great architecture. like most of the market district, this restaurant is in a fascinating rehabbed industrial space. i had a steamed artichoke appetizer which was perfect. then the indian lamb as an entree. both could easily be prepared gluten free and dairly free. the lamb could have been a bit more tender but otherwise this was a great dining experience, service was also excellent. and you can follow the meal up with a walk around the bustling district and, as i did, a walk into iowa over the bob kerry pedestrian bridge.

that is the email i reviewed from marta at m's pub confirming our reservation to celebrate my brides 50th birthday.
imagine our surprise when we showed up at 6:15 tonight, dressed up to locked doors and chairs on the tables.
what gross incompetence. what an embarrassment to have staff who don't even know what days you are open.
your response is "i'm sorry, this is why i don't like email reservations."
you. took. the. reservation. via. email.
this is not my fault.
it is not my fault that we had to wait 45 minutes at upstream for a table. it's not my fault that my bride sat at her booth with tears in her eyes.
it is yours.
your offer of "come back and i'll buy you a meal." is empty. why would i ever trust you again? there are too many opportunities for good food out there to waste it with incompetence and empty platitudes.
i hope that someday someone marta loves deeply has a special moment ruined for them and she feels this helpless.
we are not powerful people by any means; but we do
have many connections and will let executives at us bank, sanford children's hospital, avera cancer institute, the many bands we know crew for playing at the slowdown, wrestlers coming in for wwe shows and any talent coming in for o' con to avoid m's like the plague.
it's not going to hurt them. they will still turn over the dining room multiple times and have 90 minute waits when they are open, but it will do our hearts good to know that people in our circle won't be supporting incompetence.

the lamb burger is as good as previously reported; give it a try, you wont be sorry. food service was rushed: “sorry, they’re not very busy so it’s all coming out at once.” the “warm pecan pie,” was the worst i’ve ever had; basically a small commercial pie shell, into which they put 2-3 tablespoons of pie filling, and then hid it under two big scoops of vanilla ice cream. total disappointment.

service was great. group of 5 and sat at the bar. lamb burger was incredible. bbq steak was a questionable decision by one, italian sandwich was good but small, pasta and fish were good. lamb burger.

this historic land mark, dining facility should not be missed. like a phoenix from the ashes, this beloved omaha historic eatery is here to stay. with one of the best ruebin sandwiches in all of omaha, and friendly service staff, this place is a huge hit with both locals and travelers alike. the pricing is very fair which makes it a great place to stop in for lunch.

great menu, ambiance and service! the lamb satay and shrimp bake entrees were delish! bloody mary’s had just enough spice and there is a well rounded menu of wine and beer.

amazing vegetarian lavosh. i would highly recommend! nice atmosphere. the tap beer choices were excellent. fantastic stop while shopping in the area!

avoid the "deconstructed' tiramisu. there is no business calling it such unless you admit someone just threw the ingredients in a blender and served the result in a bowl with malted milk balls on top. yuck!

great place and open late (latter that most old market places). lamb burger was very very good. did i mention the lamb burger?!?
