superb dinner. a totally gorgeous and classy venue for a wonderful meal. we were cheerfully served by lesley, who was just one of the welcoming and helpful floor staff at montalto's. lesley was magnificent with a choice of menu, our wine selection and the purchase of fragrant olive oil made by montalto's (we were slurping it from the spoon it is so delicious)!!. the food was spectacular commencing with warm olives, olive bread and oil. followed by magical scallops and terrine. for main we chose the pork belly and duck which were both sensational with a side of beans. managed to squeeze in dessert also, which did not disappoint. salted caramel and meringue - yum!! the views are to die for which is a glorious added bonus. thank you so much lesley for treating us to a wonderful night out. our glass was never empty, and your courteous, helpful, down to earth style was a pleasure. thank you so much to all the team. compliments to the chef of course. jo and dan xx
