thestaffwere fantastic. in particular, will had a smile on his face the entire night. absolutely phenomenal service.

my lady and i trotted through the wooden door on saturday night. what a great place. it was moderately busy but the barstaff/ cocktail makers ( cocktailiers?) extraordinaire worked their guts out shaking things and stirring up concoctions with the ease of fairytale witches.
  i had a type of old fashioned titled 'are we not men?' well, i know damn well i am. have been for ages! it was unimaginably fantastic. the lady had something red in colour. the name escapes me as i was busy marvelling at my own drink.  our intention was to try a few different drinks but my evening was set. "another 'are we not men' please cocktailier".  the lady had something that may have been greenish possibly with a straw. but my drink was just as fantastically delicious as the first, so little attention was paid. 
 and so the pattern repeated itself several more times interrupted only by a welcome bowl of pretzels.

really elit vibes from the crowd and thestaffnever addressed us, even though we stood at the bar for ages. great water though and toilets smell delightful. jazzy music was too soft in the background

beneath the novelty of a bar behind an unsuspecting door lies knowledgeable and friendlystaffwith a fantastic cocktail menu. 

if you order one of their blazers make sure to watch the show!

cool 'hidden' bar. really cool themed bar with vintage decor,staffdressed up as old school bar tenders, candle-lit. comfy seating and cosy underground feel. overpriced drinks, but obviously a well thought through drink menu and the bartenders have really good knowledge of drinks. went on a saturday afternoon, so was easy to get a big table, but it's small, so would definitely be hard to get in during peak time. really fun place.

i absolutely loved this place. the drink menu is refined and sophisticated. terrificstaffanswered every question we had and made excellent recommendations. the result was out of this world drinks. this place drips atmosphere and is one of my all time favourite canberra drinking venues.

from the secret door to the wooden panels, this place is amazing. we tries the meat and cheese platters and wow felt like we died and went back in time to the 1920s. thestaffare very professional and engaging with clients. i highly recommended place and we will be back again. well done enz

novelty factor = awesome. finally got around to checking out molly after having heard about it from a couple of friends. was definitely impressed. there is something awesome about an underground venue, complete with old-style furniture (leather chairs!), a piano (sadly silent while i was there) and very professionalstaff(including the security). only downsides were a lack of seating (which, considering the relatively early hour, could be interpreted as a sign of molly's popularity) and the absence of ingredients lists on the cocktail menu. people who know their cocktails well would have no trouble, but some (me included) might feel a little lost. saying that -- having to ask questions is a great opportunity to actually engage with the staff.
