very longwaitfor a table on a sunday morning. waited over an hour for some amazing chicken and waffles. the chicken was crispy and crunchy and the waffles were light and fluffy and airy and with the jalapeño butter it was a great combo. so good! we sat outside and enjoyed the fall afternoon. thewaitwas worth it although the disorganized hostess made thewaitlonger than it should have been.

it's one one of the popular restaurant in inner harbor, we had towait30 min before we were seated. the restaurant was crowded. it's also one of the most awarded restaurants in the vicinity. i ordered veg sandwiches accompanied with the spicy shirly drink.
food, drinks and the ambience is pretty dope.

food was innovative and very good. the fried green tomatoes with crab were amazing, grits were awesome, bacon was tasty, monkey bread was out of this world and drink selection was creative.waitstaff was attentive. we had a great time... it was a fantastic start to the weekend....

if you're hungry for rib-sticking goodness, delivered with operational efficiency, those skills were on full display today. expect towaitfor a table, but you will be rewarded with a meal that should exceed expectations. service was also spot on.

i really like that despite being crowded, ms cafe staff don't take your patronage for granted. they take the time to thank customers for coming in. nice touch!

i don't even like grits but i was taken aback by the stone ground grits w/bacon. worth thewaitto experience palate explosion!!!!

i love mrs. shirley's cafe. i literally love eating at mrs. shirley's cafe. there is always awaiton the weekends but it is worth it. i take everyone that visits me to the inner harbor restaurant. try the monkey bread!!! everything i have ever ordered has been great all around. the service is also fast and friendly!!! 5 thumbs up!

worth the wait. be prepared towaiton weekends... but it is worth the wait. fresh, hot and delicious food. large portions. wow! would like to see this eatery expand to outside the baltimore area.

let's get the only bad thing out of the way: server asked us to hand her stuff and take stuff from her a lot, but that might just be how it is up here. also, prices prevent most people from making this place a daily eat. 25 minutewaiton a sunday around noon, not bad for such a renowned eatery! no appetizers, straight to the main meal: white chocolate and chocolate chip pancakes for me, a nap-inducing dish that the rest of my family finished for their dessert. tasted the good biscuit and the great grits, both relying on the secret ingredient known as butter. also got a taste of both the bayou and the seafood trio omelettes, really enjoyed both! they are a must if you like eggs (unlike me). this place has earned its rep!

omg! it was so good. i will never eat french toast anywhere ever again! nothing compares. thewaitstaff was wonderful and friendly. the mimosa was divine. we were seated quickly and the food came out fast. i cannot say enough good about this experience.

wow!. can notwaitto go back to baltimore just to eat here.best brunch i have had in such a long time.i had their sunrise eggs benedict.two corn muffins with super delicious pulled pork, slow cooked greens all topped off with perfectly poached eggs and a spicy sauce.

don't miss out!. went to miss shirley's after the rain ruined the plans i made. the food was outstanding and the service was amazing. we were told it was a 40 minutewaitbut they seated us in 5 and the waiter was there almost as soon as we sat down.

everything we ordered was outstanding (chicken and waffles, savory grits, pancakes, and a soft shelled crab po' boy) and very well put together.
