had a greattimeout on their patio today in the sun. had a chance to sample of few things off the menu and it was all really good. ill definitely be back

good and bad. nice atmosphere, patio, location. friendly hard working attentive staff. soggy fries one time. secondtimebetter after stressing they should be crispy. skimpy serving of coleslaw with fish and chips. should be doubled. also, very noisy inside. had to shout to be heard across the table. clean fresh smelling washroom with lots of stalls for women.

it’s thattimeof the year again! dine out vancouver! this year we started off at milltown bar and grill. we were supposed to try it out last year but we ended up visiting a different spot instead so we were glad that the milltown bar and grill menu this year was just as enticing!. milltown bar and grill’s location is a bit hidden on a small peninsula on the border of richmond and west vancouver. we were a bit confused looking for it because you pass a car junk yard and lots of boats before reaching the right place!

firsttimecoming to milltown. i ordered the highly recommended salmon flatbread. lots of salmon and toppings, big portions. one thing to note is i found the sauce too tangy. other than that it was perfect. the gangway chicken salad and the rustic clam chowder were delicious. friendly staff and great service.

this is the 2ndtimei have been here, the 1sttimei have burger & beer, the food is just okay, thistimei bring my friends to try the sunday special (prime rib). everything is fine until we ordered 3 special, the waitress said that there was a house rule (need to order drinks instead) that the menu didn't state. the attitude of the waitress is not good because we don't know we need to order drink at first.
finally, we ordered 1 beer & 2 soft drinks, prime rib is much too fat & soft drink has more ice instead of pop, overall not a very good experience for my friends.

it's my secondtimehere at mill town and so far not bad. it's got a nice patio area where you can watch planes land. the quality of food is very similar to flying beaver. if you like their food you'll like milltown

great staff / great menu. i've been down to this little hidden gem several times now. the staff is extremely friendly and it has a very warm feeling inside. this is a brand new bar so it still has a " bachelor suite" feeling in the sense they are still making it feel homey. it looks like they have the right guys for the job. food hasnt been perfect everytimeyet, but when i was asked how i liked my meal, the staff was very eager to here good or bad what i thought. i passed on a few things that could have been a little better and it was onward and upward from there. looking forward to some great times, and good people as they work out the kinks in this great spot.

just. not. good.. this is my secondtimearound at the milltown and it was (ahem) awful. things not to order: dry cajun wings, nachos, calamari. no flavour - literally. and the calamari portion size was tiny. i'll give the dirty bird wrap a c-minus - and only b/c i asked for some sauce to dip it in. the slaw was dry (really?!) the fries had improved marginally. not sure what's going on in the kitchen - but management may want to reconsider quickly unless they are making a hefty margin on the drinks. i really, really tried to (and want to) like this place - the menu "looks" amazing. however, that's 2 disappointments - so, i can't given them any more chances.
