good and bad. nice atmosphere, patio, location. friendly hard working attentive staff. soggy fries one time. second time better after stressing they should be crispy. skimpy serving of coleslaw with fish and chips. should be doubled. also, very noisy inside. had to shout to be heard across the table. clean fresh smelling washroom with lots of stalls for women.

my friend just got hired here, and we hadn't heard of it, so went here. wing wednesdays= awesome! i've been to other places for wings, but they were dry, not this place- they were saucy and soooo yummy! also got the dry dock salad- other places would charge way more for what i got. large portion, good quality of steak, not skimpy on the dry onions, and also a good ratio of dressing. fast service for a pretty busy wednesday night. totally recommend fusing flavours for the wings - like spicy / thai! yum! also had the raspberry drop shot. big shot, very happy with this place, will be back!

it’s that time of the year again! dine out vancouver! this year we started off at milltown bar and grill. we were supposed to try it out last year but we ended up visiting a different spot instead so we were glad that the milltown bar and grill menu this year was just as enticing!. milltown bar and grill’s location is a bit hidden on a small peninsula on the border of richmond and west vancouver. we were a bit confused looking for it because you pass a car junk yard and lots of boats before reaching the right place!

first time coming to milltown. i ordered the highly recommended salmon flatbread. lots of salmon and toppings, big portions. one thing to note is i found the sauce too tangy. other than that it was perfect. the gangway chicken salad and the rustic clam chowder were delicious. friendly staff and great service.

another night out with some old friends and went to milltown bar & grill.  came to another popular restaurant by the water. what a privilege to be eating next to an amazing view within the city. food is always yummy when deep fried. ahi tuna salad.  need to load up on these in vancouver whenever i could.

i love this place. it's perfect for any meal of the day, as well as a night out. they offer a free shuttle to pick you up and drop you off on weekends. they also have daily drink and food specials. the staff are very friendly and personable. for food, their wings are the best i've had since i moved to vancouver. i'd also recommend their stuffed mushroom caps and their baked goat cheese. very good, and the serving size is generous. my boyfriend and i shared three appetizers and couldn't finish them all (and we are both big eaters). there is also a view of the river and marina. if you like nautical style, this place is for you.

guess what?! today i visited a little hidden gem called milltown bar & grill and i want to tell you all about it! this bar/restaurant is located on a remote island right between richmond and south vancouver, near the marpole area. and it’s in such a secluded island that you’ll never be able to just ‘run into’ this restaurant while driving around so make sure you google map this place before you make the trip.

milltown bar & grill reminds me a lot of the flying beaver. although the address says “richmond”, it is technically on the vancouver “marpole” side of town. it is simply a quick turn off granville street / milton street – right where chervron gas station is. at the end of the bend you will find a big, bright red building with superb views of the fraser river, the airport and the mcarthur glen outlet mall at vancouver airport.

miltown is sandwiched between south vancouver and richmond. it is so close to richmond that you can clearly see the mcarthur glen outlets from the restaurant! hey, that’s a bonus – good view!. getting there is slightly tricky… below is a semi-helpful illustration on where to go. basically, turn into that minor intersection as you drive along granville st./sw marine dr.

lovely place with a great view by the water with lots of patio space. have been here on several occasions and service has been great. food for the most part is good but sometimes can be a hit or miss. mushroom caps on my last visit were quite salty. burgers and pizzas seem to be the popular choice. have decent drink specials everyday. love the ample parking.

hidden away in vancouver ( but the address is richmond) right under the arthur laing bridge
staff and servers are always really friendly and good selection of beer.  food can be hit and miss, but you can't go wrong with the burgers and the pizzas.
