milk & honey bar

open for less than a month, milk & honey is a unique place for a few reasons: thedecoris very special, right down to the french graffiti; the service is excellent, wait staff are very friendly and happy to tweak the menu slightly; and a unique birthday jam that puts a smile on everyone's faces. the food offering tries to be unique - perhaps a little too much? however we tried most items from the starters and a few from the mains, with some ice cream to round things off. honey is a common theme, along with truffle oil that perhaps pops up a few too many times on the menu to remain niche. but the menu is a work-in-progress, so look out for good changes. the cheese burger though, hit the spot. well worth a visit, even if only for the impressive drinks selection.

i'm sorry to say that this is by far the worst restaurant i've been to in terms of food.decoris stunning, staff are wonderful but the food oh my word is horrendous!! to start i ordered the milk&honey cocktail because it sounded interesting (note to self if a cocktail has chocolate milk and soda water in it don't order it) it was gross..the starter nachos are tasteless, the prawn salad was the only mildly okay-ish dish, i had the duck & cherry pot pie which the middle of the pastry was raw and the inner filling was mostly oil...so much oil it was sickening to eat so i just left it, my hubby said his main tasted like a steak from wimpy! didn't trust to order dessert from that place so just left and went elsewhere in monte for dessert ..will never return not even for drinks

great vibe, exceptional service, lovelydecorand good food. the staff were amazing and made our occasion very special. we had a fantastic evening. highly recommended!

the halloumi fries here were so delicious and stayed soft even when it cooled a bit which is very rare for halloumi. also the best piña colada ever. really classy and prettydecortoo.

had a lovely waitress and a warm welcome from the host. cocktails are pricey but good. really enjoyed the good, ordered chicken popcorn, pan fried calamari, chicken wings and my favourite - the halloumi fries! dj creates a good vibe and thedecoris appealing. enjoy the place each time i visit, look forward to returning.

thedecoris classy and feels very welcoming. we were greeted at the entrance and then taken to our seats.

the dj was really good, keeping the vibe of the bar chilled yet exciting.

service was a little slow. our bottle of wine came first, we then waited a little before our cocktail and whiskey arrived at the table.

drinks are a little pricey so be aware that you are going to fork out a little more when visiting milk and honey bar.

the food menu looks appetising and i'd love to review this place again once i've tried their food menu.

1. service is great, all staff are very friendly.
2. the vibe during holiday time and weekends is vibrant and enjoyable.
3. when they have a dj the music is bawm.
4. they have this chic laid backdecorlook. 
5. the cocktails are for an aquired taste, so be double sure before you order one. i enjoyed the don collins. 
6. the food is is great and tasty, worth the price, their hoisin chicken wings are a must have. 
all in all, i'd totally keep going there for a good vibe, nibbles and drinks.

ok so we went for drinks... only had a snack of the halloumi chips... wow... delicious, absolutely amazing... loved the innovative use of ingredients and flavors... the atmosphere,decorand staff are all stunning and we should have rather stayed for dinner... we will be back, i’m sure they won’t disappoint

this latest offering to the montecasino piazza is quite delightful...very tastefuldecorand nice vibe...they bring in djs on a sunday afternoon that adds a nice touch. we had two starters...halloumi fries and triple fried potato fries with truffle & parmesan...enjoy these. the halloumi fries were skinny & i enjoyed that! i also had the peanut butter ice cream with honey comb which was good.

set up &decoris lovely. good place to sit & have a few drinks. service is decent- would be better if the waiters recommended some of the restaurants cocktails. some are really tiny while others are larger etc etc while all being the same price.

love this place! thedecoris so sleek and clean yet cosy which is always a huge plus in my books. white and bright pastel colours are what you can expect. instead of serving bread, they gave us a cute little tin of popcorn with honey drizzled on top. absolutely to die for- the combination of sweet and salty made us order a second helping (which you pay for but it was totally worth it and pretty cheap). we ordered cocktails and i must say that they were the best i've had in a very long time. i definitely recommend the don collins cocktail- stuck to it all night because i could not get over how good it was.
the barristers were very nice to us and very friendly. the conversation flowed effortlessly and it improved our overall experience. great place to grab drinks!

let me first say that this is a beautiful restaurant - thedecoris really something special. very light and classic - french-inspired and a good measure of 'bling' added.  i think it is simply stunning.

i guess some people may find the menu a little limited, but i'm happy with a smaller menu if the quality of the meals offered is good.  we got some honey truffle popcorn to nibble on - totally delicious!

hubby ordered the duck and cherry pot pie and i went with the cheese burger. added some triple fried fries with parmesan and truffle oil - the best ever!  seeing that the cheese burger was more expensive than the duck pie, i was a little apprehensive to order it (seldom that you see beef is more pricey than duck on a menu), but it was really good!  hubby enjoyed the pie as well :)

good service and a great wine list - a lovely sunday lunch indeed!
