fortunately, unless i get food poisening or robbed at gunpoint in a restaurant, i'll give them a 2nd chance after a not so great meal. that philosophy or strategy paid off last night when i gave mccormick and shmitzs another chance. best fried calamari i've ever had (and i've had it all over.....including greece)! plus, from 4-7 and 9:30-11 ishappyhour and the aforementioned calamari as well as other dishs are just a few $......calamari was $4.99. look forward to going back and trying a full meal.

happy hour only. i like m&s but only during theirhappyhour. i've had a lunch and dinner there and have been disappointed both times. i've been to theirhappyhour multiple times where i've tried a number of different small dishes. the food there was great and small and cheap enough to get a tasting. highly recommend the 5-7 time slot.

this week's highlightedhappyhour is mccormick & schmick's seafood restaurant . doesn't sound like a goodhappyhour place right...wrong.happyhour at mccormick & schmick's is m-f from 4:00pm - 6:30pm. they also have an eveninghappyhour from 9:30pm -

this is my favorite cincinnati restaurant for special occasions. thehappyhour menu is both inexpensive and delicious. the dinner menu always features fresh, delicious, well-prepared and attractively served entrees. my favorite item - oysters rockefeller- the best and freshest in town. went here for mother's day dinner with a group of 5 and everyone raved about the food, atmosphere, & service.

goodhappyhour prices. the restaurant'shappyhour (4-6 m-f) bar menu is worth trying. they offer around 15 items ranging in price from $1.95 to $4.95, and the portion sizes are astonishing.

there are a couple of vegetarian-friendly items on the bar menu too, which is always a plus for me.
