mama roja

tried this place several years ago and was not impressed. went back today for a birthday dinner. huge mistake! service was a joke. had drinks spilled on us and in a guest's purse. waiter had no clue and couldn't get our orders right. manager avoided us. food was okay but nothing special. will never go back!!!

the worst mexican food ever. this is the worst mexican food i have ever eaten. i don't like taco bell much it is better than mama roja. the taco trucks off of shields blvd. are better than mama roja. good customer service. shrimp tacos, chicken enchilada yuck! i'd rather eat at taco bueno or taco mayo. they blow mama roja out of the water. i have eaten at mexican restaurant in state out of state mama roja is the worst food ever. great location, beautiful atmosphere, horrible food.

one of my favorite places to eat in okc the fajitas are amazing, salsas always fresh. the margaritas are also very good and they have a good selection

some of the best!. finally!!! a place that is not afraid to put "cheese" in their cheese enchiladas! the best cheese & onion enchiladas in okc. the chicken fajita enchilada with sour cream sauce was extremely good. i love their sour cream sauce...again, the best! rice was tasty & the refried beans were divine, including the wonderful cheese they melt on top of them! the guacamole rocked, as did the cheesecake burritos for dessert. salsa was okay, not the best, but the cheese sauce was the best. my boyfriend enjoyed everything as much as i did. one bummer...i wish the really nice waitress had not forgotten his taco. he was not happy even though she was very sorry. it would have been nice to try since everything else was so good. we overheard the table behind us...they were missing an item too. servers, please slow down, and pay attention. your food is too wonderful to let mediocre service get in the way. we will be back in spite of the mishap, but next time, we need the taco, please.

i can't say i've ever had anything bad here. there isn't differntiation though with uninspired menu selection. i like it for what it is but there are more inspired mexican pallet pleasers around. good location and views.

kinda disappointed!. i have ate here twice now and this last time that i ate there which was today i received poor service! and to add to my frustrations i got a $10 off coupon through my email and when i said that i had one they said it needed to be printed out. i explained to them that i didn't have a printer and now days a lot of things are done online and printers are not used much anymore. and they didn't even try to work with me and just gave me my ticket and gave me crappy attitudes! not very professional!

mama roja. food and service is excellent. this is my favorite mexican food restaurant in oklahoma city. love the location on lake hefner too!!

love it!. great atmosphere. the queso is fantastic as are the cheese enchiladas.

dislike!. overpriced chelinos. staff was not familiar with their drinks or plates. food was bland and overpriced. not coming here again.

wonderful food/good value. taco tuesdays are my absolute favorite!

taco tuesday. this is in my top 5 mexican restaurants for the metro! it's the closest to real street tacos i can get on the northside. great service, good prices, good food. make sure to ask for the habanero salsa, it's great!

i love this place! great atmosphere, food and service around! and it doesn't hurt that the general manager is a piece of eye candy!

good place for taco's. we tried taco tuesday and i fell in love with the baha and street taco. good place to take the family or a friend to eat.

by far one of my favorite restaurants in okc!
