i don't give a rating of 5 very often, if ever, but lp's absolutely nailed it. we shared the bloodsausageand beef tongue to start and the short rib for main. the bloodsausageand short rib were delicious, rammed with flavour, tender, flawless. the beef tongue was good but the other two knocked it out of the park.
washed everything down with a bottle of the alma negra, cant remember exactly but i think it was a shiraz, from the heavier side of the menu anyways.

finally got a bbq box to go with various meats of theirs that i've found at other establishments. well, they certainly smoke well. the chicken and the pork ribs were simply the best smoked meats that i've ever eaten. also the most expensive. so i can't really recommend anything else at these prices. the basicsausagethat's all over sydney now is very boring, as is the chorizo. i remember some great mortadella though. the sides were all low effort too - terrible sauce, mash, gravy. that chicken and pork though...

finally managed to check this place out! make sure you book beforehand, this place is popular. the smoked beef ribs and the beef tartare were super delicious! we tried thesausageas well which was very tasty too. the asparagus came with amazing sauce! definitely recommend this place. service was lovely too!

i prefer smokier bbq.
the food itself was quite enjoyable but the prices are quite high for the portion size. picture shows prime rib $54 andsausage$14.

from the appetizer to dessert 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 worth the money and worth the calories. the food came in just a right time and the staff were very friendly. we had cold cuts, beef tongue and blood saisage as appetizers. then beef short ribs andsausagefor main with 3 different sauces. the last is the pudding ✨ this is the best dessert that you need to try from lp’s

lovely staff here. i had the gin cocktail which was sooo tasty. the restaurant consists of large share benches so not really a romantic atmosphere if that's what you're after. for food, we ordered the pickled vegetables, blood sausage, porchetta, ocean trout, and fennel salad. the porchetta was the best dish easily. it was so flavoursome and had delicious crackling on the outside. the waitress told us the bloodsausagewas her favourite dish so we ordered it. it was tasty but not mind blowing. the fennel salad was nice and fresh but i would not order it with the pickled vegetables as well because it kind of has a sharp taste to it! smoked ocean trout was lacking in flavor and did not taste smoky. looking at other tables, the chorizosausagelooked so so good and so did the salami. i would order those if i came again.

if you're a meat lover then lp's quality meats is the place to go. i was pleasantly surprised by the amazing smoked meats served here. we ordered the smoked beef short rib, smoked chicken, smokedsausageand shaved zucchini (to balance the amount of meat ordered!). everything tasted really good but the standout for me was the smoked beef short rib which was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. i also really liked the pesto sauce(?) which was served as part of the meat platter.

too fatty and rich for me. gave me a tummy ache.
the porchetta looks amazing but only if you can stomach the fat - i dont really like the texture of fat (6-7mm layers rolled within the porchetta)
i know some like it but not for me.
croquette pigs head too rich - loves the apple mustard though
terrine - has better. husband like it though
sausage - same, can cook nicer at home
spinach - yuck, such a off glamour and not pleasant

service not great either, staff too busy chatting to one another at the counter

disappointed overall as enjoyed it last time

oh i like this place and we only had take away !!
the bribed chicken then smoked was devine with the chimmichurri and mustard. porksausagealso delish. i wish they offered more on there takeaaay menu !! i’ll be back ;)

carnivores heaven has the beef ribs andsausageand a great salad. also had the pounding chomeur for desert. all fantastic. highly recommended

we had the banquet for $65pp and loved everything that we ate and were all full by the end of dinner.

the standouts were the blood sausage, porksausageand beef short rib.

will definitely be back here.

i feel like a gluttonous suckling pig, but i like it!
this place is a fat and sugar overload. a couple of suggestions when you come here:
1. if you're on a date night ask to be seated at the tables near the front - they are quieter and better suited. we were placed on a share table at the back so asked to be moved.
2. order something with acidity for a side dish, the mash potato and the kale salad were both excellent but very sweet so it didn't balance with the meat very well.
for the entree the mortodella and salami cotto were excellent, paired with really fine olives and dijon mustard.
the eggplant parmagiano was definitely a highlight.
for mains we ordered the smoked beef short rib - it lived up to the hype. it was incredibly tender and very fatty.. yum. the whole rolled lab was excellent as well - it's a side of lamb with a moroccansausagerolled up in the middle.
all in all a worthwhile experience, although not cheap.
service was extremely attentive and friendly.

i was not very impressed with the food at lp's quality meats. thesausagewas rather tasteless. comparatively, you could get tastier and more flavourful taiwanese sausages from frozen packs.

the pork belly was much better. the meat was just nice - not too fat nor too rough. however, i am not sure if i would return again.

the best smoked ribs ever! the meat is so juicy and tender.
beef ribs, smoked chicken, and the smokedsausageis awesome. make sure you try this when you're in sydney!

their spices bloodsausage(boudin) is so flavoursome (but not salty) - superb. also had the smoked lamb belly stuffed with merguezsausagewhich was cooked and flavoured just right. small but well considered menu. overall very friendly and attentive service - great for a group of friends and meat lovers ;)
