quick dinner by the bar tables because i’ve heard so much about lp. decided to squeeze this in even though i was super full from lunch, and boy was it worth it. the ox tongue was sensational, as was the tartare. definitely over ordered though, as i was already full before i even stepped in, but still managed to squeeze in some porchetta and sausage. washed down with a delicious watermelon pilsner (which i really wish i can find in melbourne). do not miss the tartare or the tongue, it would be the first thing i return for every time. interestingly enough, for a restaurant that serves excellent meats, their salad was really good, and one of the best salads i’ve had.
