would recommend:) good american choices for the most part- really enjoyed the fried green beans & a supreme pizza. good original cocktails too:) other than oneloudman – it wasn't too terriblyloudwhen he was quiet:) lol

loud and drunk crowd on patio on sunday. last sunday we decided to go to louie's for margaritas and a late lunch since the weather was beautiful. we found a table on the patio, but unfortunately there was a table of 30-50 year olds that were veryloudand were using foul language. families with children were sitting at a number of other tables and were also subjected to these obnoxious patrons. we moved to another table and found the same situation at that table. the waitress knew why we changed tables, but as far as we could tell she kept serving the other table drinks and shots and nothing was done by the management to address this behavior. this type of conduct might have been okay for 10:00 or later at night, but not in the afternoon. we warned a family that was looking for a table on the patio. they thanked us and went inside to eat. i also think the management should be concerned about serving liquor to patrons that have already had too much. we will go to red rock or hefner grill next time.

a bust. i've had plenty of satisfying meals and drinks at louie's locations in edmond, but my recent dinner at the lakeside location was a bust. this restaurant is seriously tooloudto hold a conversation with your dinner date, let alone communicate with your server. i tried two different margaritas during my meal and both were very poorly executed. the house frozen margarita was 75% melted by the time it came to me and the perfect margarita was so sweet i couldn't finish it.

service was also a letdown. ten minutes after my liberty city sandwich was served by a food runner, our waitress passed by and i requested mustard for my fries. weird, i know, but that's how i enjoy them. ten more minutes passed, no mustard, now the fries are cold. when my husband caught her attention again and repeated the request, she hurried back with a small cup of... horseradish mustard. i tried it anyway, but after a few bites, i couldn't stand the burning in my sinuses. i left with a tummy-ache from the overly sweet drink and a general sense of disappointment with a meal gone wrong. skip the lakeside louie's and just keep walking to one of the other decent restaurants nearby.

a nice location. i like louie's. it's a nice place, with a bit of class, at where you may avoid spending a great deal and have quality, well-presented food-whether it be an evening during the week, saturday night doing what one does on saturday night, or lunch after church. the location at the lake adds the nice landscape of lake hefner into the equation. the atmosphere is cheerful and hospitable, though as probably literally every other review noted, the interior at this location isloudand incredibly so at peak periods. service is always impeccable. the exterior patio lends itself to pedestrians and cyclists being comfortable during the warmer parts of the year.

nice view.... this is a great location for a lunch date. the views of the lake far outweigh the food, but it's still worth making the trip. louie's has a good menu for just about every type of eater! the staff has always been very helpful and prompt too. so... good food, decent prices, and fun environment give louie's on the lake a great vote... oh, it does getloudat times, so occasionally it's tooloudto hear your conversations across the table...

favorite place. the food is awesome and very well priced when two of you can go out to eat for $20 you cant beat that. yes i agree when i go there i feel like bruce almighty when he hears all those voices in his head. it is veryloudbut the food and service makes up for it.

great view, good food, lousy acoustics. my title pretty well sums it up - the lake side view is great, the food is always good, but it's always soloudthere! never go here if you want to have an actual conversation with anyone. because we enjoy the food and it is reasonably priced, we order to go and enjoy our meals in the quiet atmosphere of our own home. if you want to eat while you watch a game, you'd probably enjoy dining in.

food was good, but.... i heard great things about this place on lake hefner and i checked it out and was surprised that the food was as good as others said it was. the service was about a 6-7 (out of 10). it was way toloudfor me for a early evening meal, it seemed to be more of a bar with decent food than a restaurant with a bar. lots of drinking andloudpeople and very over crowded.

i will return at some point maybe a lunch during the week when it is not so busy.
