would recommend:) good american choices for the most part- really enjoyed the fried green beans & a supreme pizza. good original cocktails too:) other than one loud man – it wasn't too terribly loud when he was quiet:) lol

loud and drunk crowd on patio on sunday. last sunday we decided to go to louie's for margaritas and a late lunch since the weather was beautiful. we found a table on the patio, but unfortunately there was a table of 30-50 year olds that were very loud and were using foul language. families with children were sitting at a number of other tables and were also subjected to these obnoxious patrons. we moved to another table and found the same situation at that table. the waitress knew why we changed tables, but as far as we could tell she kept serving the other table drinks and shots and nothing was done by the management to address this behavior. this type of conduct might have been okay for 10:00 or later at night, but not in the afternoon. we warned a family that was looking for a table on the patio. they thanked us and went inside to eat. i also think the management should be concerned about serving liquor to patrons that have already had too much. we will go to red rock or hefner grill next time.

bar food - good. we get fried green beans and margherita pizza. yum! oh and they make a great crown & water! awesome view and summer atmosphere.

what's better than louie's? louie's with a view, of course!services and food is always great along with a selection adult beverages.i definitely side with @dr. matt on parking. definitely more seating than parking spaces here.our waitress was "killing it" outside and she simply has guests pop in onto her patio from the hefner walk and bike trailsunfortunately, we only stopped in for beverages with view since our bellies were still full from a 14oz steak.if you are a summertime patio-lover, but hate the oklahoma summer heat -this place offers a misting system combined with cool breeze off lake hefner.

i love the concept of outdoor seating at the lake, but realistically it is troublesome at this location. i nearly blow to the restaurant next door with that wind!  

drinks are plentiful and affordable, as are the tvs.  the menu is mostly under $10.  the fried green beans are a must for an appetizer although come as a side with an entree too.  burgers are good.  salads are plain.  best things on the menu are the pizza (namely the bbq chicken) as well as the wraps.  i love a chicken wrap with ranch dressing.  

bring me a cider and i am set!

bonus bonus: when asked how it was i told the waitress the fries came out a little cold. before i could even add that it wasn't a big deal she rushed off and brought me hot, fresh fries in probably less than a minute.

my only complaint is the plastic beer mug but that probably won't bother most people.

fun sports bar, great views of the lake. i was here for a family birthday party on a sunny, warm sunday afternoon. the thunder were playing, so we were able to watch the game during our party. our server was attentive, and a manager came out once to ask about our meal. this is the level of service that i come to expect here and at their sister franchises, e.g. charleston's and interurban.

i ordered the green chile cheeseburger. i like my burger to come out hot, and i like the cheese to be fully melted. louie's succeeded with both of those preferences. however, their bun could use some work. when the burger first came out, i thought the bun would disintegrate underneath. it didn't do that, but it was a standard food service white bun - not much character to it. they could use a more substantial brioche style bun with more chew. the burger was cooked to order, but i would rather have a hand-packed-today burger than a once-frozen patty (even if it is angus beef). my steamed veggies side was well seasoned. beyond some mushy broccoli, it tasted fine.

very dirty. i love louis by the lake! not sure what was going on tonight? ordered food to go. went to pick up and walked in. the wait staff very friendly. but started looking around and the place was a disaster. very dirty,, garbage and dish's everywhere. maybe they were just having a bad night? hope so? when i got home the food was burnt and nothing to the quality they are known for. hope it was just a bad night cause it is one of my favorite places to go.

my wedding reception. my husband and i were finally able to get married in oklahoma and we chose louies for are small wedding reception. the food and service were outstanding. some of the best fish tacos i have ever ate. the staff treated us no different than a traditional married couple, with lots of congratulations and well wishes. we had a great time. thanks louies!

.....and we had a table, not with are group buy us a bottle of champagne. oklahoma surprises me every day.

best manager in ok. the food at this louie's location is decent most of the time. it is the best-run location because of the gm ed. the staff is always great here - a direct reflection on ed. some of the other louies (ahem! 178th) have so-so servers - some nice, some rude, some indifferent at best - due to the manger. not so louies on the lake. the staff is all very pleasant here. i appreciate well-run establishments. this is the best.

i was pleased jumping off the trail to
find the most courteous staff willing to attend to me and my dog. they were inviting and quickly brought my dog water. the food was really good too! but they get double kudos for making my dog feel like a star!

raegan and erin and i had dinner here this evening after a couple scout meetings. it was pretty good. i ordered a patty melt. it had mustard and pickles on it, with the usual fried onions. it was very greasy, and started in immediately eating away the bread. i liked it. raegan fot a build your own pizza, cheese and mushrooms. it smelled good, and the slice i had tasted very good. erin got a chicken tender wrap, and ate all of it. it came with a pile of thin fries. so not bad at all. service was pretty attentive. the iced tea was good. our check was $29.74. my only gripe would be that the music was too loud. i wouldn’t mind going back.

i have been to three of these and food is uniformly substandard. everything is frozen, thawed and reheated. is it really too much to ask for fresh food? burgers are pre-formed and frozen too. next time i'll just go to sams go home and reheat. same as the food here.

a bust. i've had plenty of satisfying meals and drinks at louie's locations in edmond, but my recent dinner at the lakeside location was a bust. this restaurant is seriously too loud to hold a conversation with your dinner date, let alone communicate with your server. i tried two different margaritas during my meal and both were very poorly executed. the house frozen margarita was 75% melted by the time it came to me and the perfect margarita was so sweet i couldn't finish it.

service was also a letdown. ten minutes after my liberty city sandwich was served by a food runner, our waitress passed by and i requested mustard for my fries. weird, i know, but that's how i enjoy them. ten more minutes passed, no mustard, now the fries are cold. when my husband caught her attention again and repeated the request, she hurried back with a small cup of... horseradish mustard. i tried it anyway, but after a few bites, i couldn't stand the burning in my sinuses. i left with a tummy-ache from the overly sweet drink and a general sense of disappointment with a meal gone wrong. skip the lakeside louie's and just keep walking to one of the other decent restaurants nearby.

loud!. i love the location of this place! because of the nice weather, there were a lot of people at the lake so the parking lots were full. came with a party of 12 and i have a rule that you never order anything hot with a large party cause by the time it gets to you, it won't be. i got the blue cheese burger and it was warm. fries were cold. the place was very loud! it was hard to have a conservation with the person next to you. the appetizers were all good. the best part of the meal for me.
