louie's grill & bar

bar food - good. we get fried green beans and margherita pizza. yum! oh and they make agreatcrown & water! awesome view and summer atmosphere.

what's better than louie's? louie's with a view, of course!services and food is alwaysgreatalong with a selection adult beverages.i definitely side with @dr. matt on parking. definitely more seating than parking spaces here.our waitress was "killing it" outside and she simply has guests pop in onto her patio from the hefner walk and bike trailsunfortunately, we only stopped in for beverages with view since our bellies were still full from a 14oz steak.if you are a summertime patio-lover, but hate the oklahoma summer heat -this place offers a misting system combined with cool breeze off lake hefner.

fun sports bar,greatviews of the lake. i was here for a family birthday party on a sunny, warm sunday afternoon. the thunder were playing, so we were able to watch the game during our party. our server was attentive, and a manager came out once to ask about our meal. this is the level of service that i come to expect here and at their sister franchises, e.g. charleston's and interurban.

i ordered the green chile cheeseburger. i like my burger to come out hot, and i like the cheese to be fully melted. louie's succeeded with both of those preferences. however, their bun could use some work. when the burger first came out, i thought the bun would disintegrate underneath. it didn't do that, but it was a standard food service white bun - not much character to it. they could use a more substantial brioche style bun with more chew. the burger was cooked to order, but i would rather have a hand-packed-today burger than a once-frozen patty (even if it is angus beef). my steamed veggies side was well seasoned. beyond some mushy broccoli, it tasted fine.

my wedding reception. my husband and i were finally able to get married in oklahoma and we chose louies for are small wedding reception. the food and service were outstanding. some of the best fish tacos i have ever ate. the staff treated us no different than a traditional married couple, with lots of congratulations and well wishes. we had agreattime. thanks louies!

.....and we had a table, not with are group buy us a bottle of champagne. oklahoma surprises me every day.

best manager in ok. the food at this louie's location is decent most of the time. it is the best-run location because of the gm ed. the staff is alwaysgreathere - a direct reflection on ed. some of the other louies (ahem! 178th) have so-so servers - some nice, some rude, some indifferent at best - due to the manger. not so louies on the lake. the staff is all very pleasant here. i appreciate well-run establishments. this is the best.

let me start by saying that i don't eat pizza. i have pizza maybe once a year and that is when i'm invited to someone's house and that is what they have made or ordered. the waitstaff kept walking by with homemade pizza so i went out on a limb and ordered one to share with my wife. it was amazingly awesome. i snatched the last piece like a fat kid at a buffet. the service was great. the other customers were friendly and fun. we watched the thunder game while eating and drinking. an absolutegreatplace to chill and enjoy a few beers

nice enough place.greatlocation, decent food, good service,greatpricing. if you're going to watch a game with friends,greatbut i wouldn't recommend it for a date. the atmosphere is very loud. had the best broccoli salad i've ever tasted! looking forward to trying it again during one of the concerts.

a nice location. i like louie's. it's a nice place, with a bit of class, at where you may avoid spending agreatdeal and have quality, well-presented food-whether it be an evening during the week, saturday night doing what one does on saturday night, or lunch after church. the location at the lake adds the nice landscape of lake hefner into the equation. the atmosphere is cheerful and hospitable, though as probably literally every other review noted, the interior at this location is loud and incredibly so at peak periods. service is always impeccable. the exterior patio lends itself to pedestrians and cyclists being comfortable during the warmer parts of the year.

nice view.... this is agreatlocation for a lunch date. the views of the lake far outweigh the food, but it's still worth making the trip. louie's has a good menu for just about every type of eater! the staff has always been very helpful and prompt too. so... good food, decent prices, and fun environment give louie's on the lake agreatvote... oh, it does get loud at times, so occasionally it's too loud to hear your conversations across the table...

food was good, but.... i heardgreatthings about this place on lake hefner and i checked it out and was surprised that the food was as good as others said it was. the service was about a 6-7 (out of 10). it was way to loud for me for a early evening meal, it seemed to be more of a bar with decent food than a restaurant with a bar. lots of drinking and loud people and very over crowded.

i will return at some point maybe a lunch during the week when it is not so busy.
