went to the jenks food festival this afternoon to check out the food trucks' offerings. saw the long queu for the lone wolf truck so of course me and my family have to get in it too. we waited for a good half an hour under the sun for our turn but it's supposed to be so good that it's worth the pain and wait. welp. by the time we get to the front of the line the bahnmi is already sold out, so we ordered theporksandwich which is suppose to be just as good. and the kimchee fries of course. but to my surprise, for $8.60 i only get half a sandwich! and the kimchee fries portion can be better too. felt jiped since we're not expecting such a small lunch. if they are running low on products they should have advice the crowd, instead of halfing the portions. flavor is there but not worth the trouble.

my favorite tulsa food truck!  theporkbanh mi is a great item, because the meat is tender and full of delicious vietnamese flavors, and the bread is hard enough to contain the meat & veggies, yes soft enough to enjoy.  the sandwiches are a bit higher priced than other banh mi places that i've been to, but i still go there often for their tasty offerings.

i'm a regular. i have had good sammiches, and i have had lone wolf. there is a difference. from the regularporkbahn mi, to cilantro pesto chicken (my personal favorite), to fried chicken and jalapeno meatball, this truck has you covered!  and don't even get me started on the kimchi fries... chef philip phillips has you covered with the most flavorfull bite you've ever tasted! what i'm saying is, if you haven't had lone wolf then stop what you're doing right now and go get a cilantro pesto chicken bahn mi (or kung pau pork), an order of kimchi fries, and a sixer of cheap beer and just enjoy life for the evening.  you're welcome... -jw

while the burgers are good, the pulledporkbrioche is incomparably better. if you're trying to decide between those two sammiches, go brioche! the brunch is great, too. the brioche french toast and kimchi melt are super. "the jam" fried rice bowl with candied bacon and jalapeño aioli is my favorite dish they make.

must try. this food truck is very, very good. theporkbahn mi is excellent. it's slightly spicy but offset with the sweet pickles. the kimchi fries are also a must have. it sounds strange, but you wont be disappointed. one banh mi and one order of fries is probably enough for two people.

you can find them at the guthrie green on wednesdays for lunch, and also parked outside soundpony on the weekend evenings. follow them on facebook to get the scoop.

can't say enough good things about lone wolf!. what can i say about lone wolf that hasn't already been said by tons of people? it's the best food truck in tulsa, period. the kimchi fries are absolutely mind-blowing, fried to perfection, fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the outside. i took them to go and they didn't get soggy during a 15-minute car ride. i get a fried egg topper with kung-paoporkand bacon aioli, and it's like a party on my tongue. the line gets long, and i only have an hour for lunch, so i tend to visit the truck during dinner hours. the entire staff is super friendly, and the best part is they take credit cards. run, don't walk, to get a place in line at lone wolf.

best fries in town! crispy golden on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. they then take these awesome fries, cover in cheese, fried kim chi, cucumber slaw, cilantro, and your choice of aioli. a truly amazing dish.

banh mi, if you've never had it: spicyporksandwhich, do it.

they're normally outside soundpony on north main wednesday- sunday nights with the occasional lunch time posted on facebook.

they accept credit cards.
