went to the jenksfoodfestival this afternoon to check out thefoodtrucks' offerings. saw the long queu for the lone wolf truck so of course me and my family have to get in it too. we waited for a good half an hour under the sun for our turn but it's supposed to be so good that it's worth the pain and wait. welp. by the time we get to the front of the line the bahnmi is already sold out, so we ordered the pork sandwich which is suppose to be just as good. and the kimchee fries of course. but to my surprise, for $8.60 i only get half a sandwich! and the kimchee fries portion can be better too. felt jiped since we're not expecting such a small lunch. if they are running low on products they should have advice the crowd, instead of halfing the portions. flavor is there but not worth the trouble.

my favorite tulsafoodtruck!  the pork banh mi is a great item, because the meat is tender and full of delicious vietnamese flavors, and the bread is hard enough to contain the meat & veggies, yes soft enough to enjoy.  the sandwiches are a bit higher priced than other banh mi places that i've been to, but i still go there often for their tasty offerings.

whoever is dogging on the kimchi fries must not have a mouth. best fries on earth! the flavors melded between the potatoes, sauce(s), fresh herbs, and lone wolf-crafted kimchi are mind blowing. i always get an egg on top to tie it all together. the service is as you would expect from afoodtruck, always friendly but not always prompt, and the general vibe and atmosphere of the place makes it work. perfect with a nice beer. could not recommend highly enough - one of the culinary treasures of tulsa.

fast and deliciousfoodtruck that will knock your socks off with flavor! finally a place that isn't afraid to kick it up a notch and wow you with spices and sauces and variety. the kimchi fries with egg and candied bacon are so good that i dream about them. i haven't had anything there that wasn't loaded with flavor and fresh ingredients.

banh mi for the win. i've been facebook stalking lone wolf for months now, but i finally was able to make it down to guthrie green forfoodtruck wednesday. i knew that thefoodwas going to be yummy, but it blew my taste buds away. i can't say enough good things about my banh mi, and the kimchi fries... heaven. it was definitely a stroke of genius to add candied bacon and a fried egg to those babies.

i was not overly enthused to wait in that horribly long line, but i'm so glad i did. i will definitely be going back for more yummyfoodin the future.

i love lunch at guthrie green. i have been a loyal lone wolf fan for lunch for many months now. thefoodnever let's me down. i wait in line even if it's cold. the only complaint i have is the new guy that takes orders. he talks down to people and refers to ever girl as "honey" or "sweetie" and speaks to us like we are children. it's quite demeaning. i will eat at this truck no matter what, thefoodis awesome. don't let the new creepy guy taking orders keep you away.

what a bunch of hipster, douche, a-holes. we walked up to the truck where to three guys standing in front smoking and talking. they said nothing, until they climbed in thefoodtruck to take our orders. not even a hello?!? set an awkward tone. so we'd both never ordered banh mi before and accidentally ordered some in the plural form, saying banh mis. after that we got to wait for ourfoodwhile they made fun of us after we gave them 30 dollars for friggin truck food. thefoodwas good but i just couldn't eat it on principle.

must try. thisfoodtruck is very, very good. the pork bahn mi is excellent. it's slightly spicy but offset with the sweet pickles. the kimchi fries are also a must have. it sounds strange, but you wont be disappointed. one banh mi and one order of fries is probably enough for two people.

you can find them at the guthrie green on wednesdays for lunch, and also parked outside soundpony on the weekend evenings. follow them on facebook to get the scoop.

can't say enough good things about lone wolf!. what can i say about lone wolf that hasn't already been said by tons of people? it's the bestfoodtruck in tulsa, period. the kimchi fries are absolutely mind-blowing, fried to perfection, fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the outside. i took them to go and they didn't get soggy during a 15-minute car ride. i get a fried egg topper with kung-pao pork and bacon aioli, and it's like a party on my tongue. the line gets long, and i only have an hour for lunch, so i tend to visit the truck during dinner hours. the entire staff is super friendly, and the best part is they take credit cards. run, don't walk, to get a place in line at lone wolf.

bestfoodtruck ever!!!. owner-operators, chef phillip and his lovely wife danielle, dish out the best cuisine i've ever experienced from afoodtruck anywhere. the banh mi sandwiches are better than any i've ever experienced and their kim chi fries topped with a fried egg is exquisite. no wonder they sell out so quickly every day. if you're lucky enough to live in tulsa or happen to be here for a visit, be sure to track down the lone wolf for an unforgettable dining experience.
