i'll have to say i was rather dissapointed in mykimchifries i got at the blue dome arts fest. i had heard so many great things about them. end the end, they were just fries out of a bag, kimchiout of a jar with mayo and cilantro. just not sure if i'm sold....

i really enjoyed thekimchifries, they were fun and different. however, i didn't enjoy my banh mi as much, maybe i should have tried a different meat, but it wasn't very flavorful. i would go back and try something else.

thekimchifries are nothing short of an institution, and are a must have. i never order anything else.

some of their other menu items are over concieved, but are nonetheless tasty.

whoever is dogging on thekimchifries must not have a mouth. best fries on earth! the flavors melded between the potatoes, sauce(s), fresh herbs, and lone wolf-craftedkimchiare mind blowing. i always get an egg on top to tie it all together. the service is as you would expect from a food truck, always friendly but not always prompt, and the general vibe and atmosphere of the place makes it work. perfect with a nice beer. could not recommend highly enough - one of the culinary treasures of tulsa.

lone wolf is a favorite of mine. ive never had anything that wasn't delicious here! so excited they opened a location at 37th and harvard. placed a telephone order as i was leaving work and it was ready to be picked up in 15 minutes on my way home. i love thekimchifried with candied bacon and the port fried rice. the soy dijon mushrooms are life changing!!

i'm a regular. i have had good sammiches, and i have had lone wolf. there is a difference. from the regular pork bahn mi, to cilantro pesto chicken (my personal favorite), to fried chicken and jalapeno meatball, this truck has you covered!  and don't even get me started on thekimchifries... chef philip phillips has you covered with the most flavorfull bite you've ever tasted! what i'm saying is, if you haven't had lone wolf then stop what you're doing right now and go get a cilantro pesto chicken bahn mi (or kung pau pork), an order ofkimchifries, and a sixer of cheap beer and just enjoy life for the evening.  you're welcome... -jw

excellent fustion of tastes. it was cold out, too...and, i definitely don't like cold weather one bit! however, i've long desired to try something from these food-trucks, that i've heard some encouraging things about, and, heading home one evening, downtown, on 3rd street (i believe, it was), i noticed that they were parked, with just a couple of folks lingering outside. actually, by the time i made the decision to try them, i had gone a couple of blocks past, so, i pulled over, parked, and, walked back, embracing the opportunity for some moderate exercise, thinking that i'd get something quick, and, be on my way.
boy, was i wrong. when i got there, i found out that their computers had malfunctioned, and, we were waiting for them to straighten up, which shouldn't be too long. i stood out, in the cold, for about 10 minutes, watching wiser folks, who had parked closer, in their vehicles, waiting for the signal that all had been restored. during my seemingly-long wait, i seriously contemplated that if i were to have to walk back to my car, i probably wouldn't turn around, and come back, just to have to still wait.
boy, would i have been wrong, again! i did go get my car, and, i did wait for the computer system to come back online, and, i began my adventure. i explained that this was my first time trying them, and, though i could read the menu, i still had no idea what anything on there was, or, what i might be inclined to like. these guys were very laid-back, cordial, good hosts, per se, and, helped me to select thekimchifries. i also made another selection, just taking a chance, although, i don't exactly remember what its name was.
i am extremely happy to report that everything was delicious! i've not had the opportunity to catch them again, but, i very much appreciated the great food, and, i'm gonna cruise down that way tonight, in fact, hoping to happen upon them!

kimchi fries!. great food! i absolutely love theirkimchifries with candied bacon. a bit pricy, and most of the time you'll have to wait in line, but it's always worth it!

while the burgers are good, the pulled pork brioche is incomparably better. if you're trying to decide between those two sammiches, go brioche! the brunch is great, too. the brioche french toast andkimchimelt are super. "the jam" fried rice bowl with candied bacon and jalapeño aioli is my favorite dish they make.

banh mi for the win. i've been facebook stalking lone wolf for months now, but i finally was able to make it down to guthrie green for food truck wednesday. i knew that the food was going to be yummy, but it blew my taste buds away. i can't say enough good things about my banh mi, and thekimchifries... heaven. it was definitely a stroke of genius to add candied bacon and a fried egg to those babies.

i was not overly enthused to wait in that horribly long line, but i'm so glad i did. i will definitely be going back for more yummy food in the future.

must try. this food truck is very, very good. the pork bahn mi is excellent. it's slightly spicy but offset with the sweet pickles. thekimchifries are also a must have. it sounds strange, but you wont be disappointed. one banh mi and one order of fries is probably enough for two people.

you can find them at the guthrie green on wednesdays for lunch, and also parked outside soundpony on the weekend evenings. follow them on facebook to get the scoop.

can't say enough good things about lone wolf!. what can i say about lone wolf that hasn't already been said by tons of people? it's the best food truck in tulsa, period. thekimchifries are absolutely mind-blowing, fried to perfection, fluffy on the inside, crunchy on the outside. i took them to go and they didn't get soggy during a 15-minute car ride. i get a fried egg topper with kung-pao pork and bacon aioli, and it's like a party on my tongue. the line gets long, and i only have an hour for lunch, so i tend to visit the truck during dinner hours. the entire staff is super friendly, and the best part is they take credit cards. run, don't walk, to get a place in line at lone wolf.
