liberty union bar and grill

wonderful dining experience. the meal and salad was excellent. ourservicewas friendly, prompt and attentive. the bar atmosphere is beautiful and inviting. the beer selection is by far the best in the area. a great place to take family and friends or watch a ball game on the many tv's. the two outdoor patios were my favorite design feature as the interior design is unique and inviting. a great place that can accommodate large groups as well. we took my son's hockey team for lunch after a game and the inviting staff got us seated and situated right away. great place to go again and again as the menu offers great must try options.

give me liberty or give me.... i've been to liberty union several times. i want to like lu, many positive features; including, great bar staff, great beer, good entertainment, always open. but, many negatives; food is not so good, tableserviceis spotty and it is very loud.
conceptually lu is a great "idea", truly regional american food, however, the kitchen is not capable of carrying off the concept or even the basics! there is a running joke that if you endeavor to order a burger r or mr the wait staff wishes you "good luck"?
they are constantly "tweaking" the concept and i hope they eventually dial it in!
until then enjoy a great cocktail or beer and eat somewhere else....

ehh...it's okay. i've eaten there twice and haven't been impressed either time. the latest time we arrived about 9pm for dinner...my husband had to go find someone to seat us. theservicewas slow even though no one was dining and the staff wasn't very friendly or attentive. the food is just average, nothing i couldn't make at home that wouldn't taste just as good or better. there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that are much better. i doubt i'll be back again.

better than expected. we had a wonderful graduation day luncheon with family & friends on friday. food was absolutely outstanding and theservicephenomenal! haven't had this great of an experience in a very long time!

great veggie burger so i can have an amazing cream puff for dessert!. i am not one for veggie burgers but a friend told me to try it and i was so happy i did ! boy it tasted good ! i would say it was as good as a beef burger!! very very tasty! the warm caramel cream puff for dessert was amazing! the new menu items are much healthier and the new chef is doing a great job! we love to frequent locally owned places. this is a keeper.

great bar, beer, burgers. my husband and i have visited liberty union almost weekly. we love having a local place to go and the menu has a variety of options. the state of the week specials have been great. my usual order is a burger- always delicious! the salads are a great choice too if i want to go healthy and they are huge! the texas caviar is our favorite appetizer. we have noticed bigger portions from when they first opened andserviceis better now that they have been open for a few months. it's nice to give the local guys business , we will be going back often!

stopped by with my wife for a quick bite and to our surprise, they were featuring a brand new menu! it's all new and very nice. not too big but features a great selection. i had the fish tacos. fantastic!servicewas attentive and on point.

went with my wife last friday for appetizers and drinks at the bar. had good munchies and drinks. carl, becky and jj at the bar were great. lots of fun and very attentive. this was our second time there and won't be our last. this is our new spot.

been there 4 times andserviceis always sloooow. for a menu, liberty union tries to take the best from each region of the usa...their selections are simple, which would be fine if a straightforward recipe was used, instead the cook (definitely not a chef) tries to put a fancy spin on every item...the execution is awful. simple recipes can be a good idea, but when you cannot consistently cook chicken fingers...lol...then perhaps the food business is not for you.
finally, a better beer selection can be found at the pizzeria unos just down the street....not a plug for them, just a sad sad observation.

i would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

p.s. the prices are ridiculous for the food they are offering i.e. mac-n-cheese for $14 and sub-par crabcakes for $25

i attended liberty union on saturday night. after spending 12 years in the restaurant business i can tell you this was one of the best times that i have had in recent years. from the moment that i walked in the door the staff was helpful and courtesy. from sandy, karl to steve the management team was all over the place helping the hoststand, bar, and running food to the customers. as far as ourservicediane not only met but exceeded our every expectation. the food was extremely well flavored ad cooked to perfection! from the burgers to the mac everything was outstanding. for opening just a few months ago this reastaurant runs like a well oiled machine

good experience. just had a great meal. i chose the heartland burger which was medium well the way i like it . the tumbleweed onions were a great topper along with the mushrooms. my wife ordered the grilled reuben also very good. ourservicewas on spot. the decor is tastefully done americana.

visited liberty union for the first time last night.....entrees too pricey. had the chicken pot pie. nice pieces of chicken & vegetables, but the strong taste of the shallots was all that you could taste! had the tator tots at $8.50...over priced. way too much salt taste and too few tots. coleslaw was spicy, it did not say that on the menu.servicewas ok. would not recommend this restaurant at this time.
